In this role, you will drive UNICEF UK's communications and media efforts for public fundraising and brand campaigns such as Soccer Aid for UNICEF,  as well as advocacy campaigns, and humanitarian emergencies. You'll manage relationships with UK media and collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver ambitious, impactful media coverage that supports our income and influence goals across the Public Relations and News and Emergencies teams.

To succeed, you'll need experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating media strategies, and crafting effective communication materials to secure consumer and news coverage in key mass media outlets. Exceptional communication skills are essential, as is the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with UK journalists and stakeholders. Up-to-date knowledge of the UK media landscape and current humanitarian issues is also crucial.

Lead Bespoke Analysis Projects: Blend existing reports with fresh ideas to deep-dive into campaign performance, supporter behaviours, or product trends, ultimately shaping future fundraising campaigns.

Champion Data Accuracy: Team up with the wider data department to maintain and refine smooth data flows from CRM to SQL Data Warehouse and beyond, ensuring high-quality reporting across the organisation.

About you

You have hands-on experience in building and optimising Power BI dashboards (at least 1 year), plus a solid track record (2+ years) of using reports and analytics to drive strategic improvements.

You’re proficient in DAX functions, M Query, and data preparation, and you’re always exploring new Power BI releases to stay on the cutting edge.

You’re a natural communicator who loves translating complex data into clear takeaways, whether you’re speaking with fellow data experts or guiding stakeholders who are new to analytics.

Job Description

You'll be an experienced qualified High Intensity Therapist with BABCP accreditation who likes working as part of a supportive team to help clients who struggle with common mental health problems such as anxiety and/or depression.

You will be responsible for the clinical supervision of Mind and Body Practitioners and CBT Therapists. Supervision will be provided on both an individual and group basis. You will be expected to support the clinical governance of the Mind and Body service.

• Have a Post Graduate Diploma in an NHS Talking Therapies Course or a recorded/registered qualification in one of the following - nursing, social work, occupational therapy, arts therapy or within a psychological therapy – plus further post-graduate qualification training in CBT along with significant experience working as a practitioner

Detention Action is a small organisation with a big impact. Since 1993, we have worked to improve the welfare of people in detention centres and tirelessly campaign alongside our beneficiaries to reduce the use of immigration detention. We work on the frontline with people in immigration detention, as well as challenging injustices in asylum, detention and deportation systems in the UK.

In this role you will engage directly with families, visiting them each week to provide holistic support to families with young children, for a wide range of needs.  The Early Years Family Worker will tend to support families facing more complex circumstances. This might include factors like disability or emerging additional needs, multi-agency support, or a history of domestic abuse.

You will play a crucial part in assisting parents as they navigate the challenges of family life. This will involve listening to parents, building on their strengths, and helping them access activities, or help to improve family life.  Additionally, you will work with the children, engaging in play and other activities that support their development. Through role modelling and direct interaction, you will help create a nurturing environment that encourages both parental confidence and child growth.

You’ll play a key role leading the development and delivery of our influencing work in the Midlands. This will include focusing on topics such as waiting times, screening, and secondary breast cancer.

You’ll have a good understanding of the current health landscape in the Midlands, or across England, along with experience of working in a relevant stakeholder, strategic, influencing or policy role.

About your role

We are a small and ambitious early-stage organisation with two full-time team members. Our current objective: to help the 1 billion chickens raised annually in the UK. By joining us as a campaigner who focuses on communications, you will work on the frontlines by shining a light on the hidden suffering of animals trapped on factory farms, and mobilising the public to take action. Your first task will be to help us convince the UK’s largest food businesses to improve their chicken welfare policies, primarily through crafting media stories and marketing campaigns that capture the hearts and minds of the public.

While this may sound challenging, it’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to make a historic change for those who cannot stand up for themselves. Someone has to pick up the fight, and we hope it will be You.
