About The Access Project
The Access Project is an education charity; we believe that every young person can make the most of education, unlocking their potential and creating a fairer society.
We support over 1,800 young people aged 14 to 18 across 40 schools. Our mission is to support students from under-resourced backgrounds to access top universities, through a unique combination of tuition and in-school mentoring. We work with them to make good applications, get the grades and transition to university.
We employ 70 people who work in locations in London, the Midlands, Yorkshire and the North West. We will turn over approximately £3.7 million in this financial year and our funding comes from a range of sources including: schools, businesses, major donors and grant-making trusts.
The programme combats educational inequality and improves social mobility by raising students’ grades and supporting them to understand the pathway to a top university. Students who receive support from our programme are almost twice as likely to attend top universities as statistically similar students, according to UCAS.

We are looking for an ambitious, experienced Head of Corporate Partnerships with a track record of winning, retaining, and developing high value partnerships.
The Access Project has established partnerships with leading companies who are committed to social mobility, equality, diversity and inclusion, and want to provide real impact for young people. We have a fantastic volunteer tutor programme at the heart of The Access Project which provides engagement opportunities for employees of corporate partners. We have identified corporate funding as one of our largest growth areas. This role will take a lead in developing and driving forward our business partnerships strategy.
The successful candidate will be passionate about levelling the playing field for disadvantaged young people in education. You will be an exceptional relationship builder and communicator, able to motivate companies to support our mission. You will be an experienced manager of people with the ability to build a supportive, creative and inspiring environment for the corporate partnerships function. You will contribute positively to the culture at The Access Project and work collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation to achieve our strategic goals.
What you’ll be responsible for
Leadership and management
- Working closely with the Fundraising and Communications Director to develop a corporate partnerships plan that focuses on the acquisition of corporate partnerships and excellent account management of existing partnerships, resulting in renewals and uplift in value.
- Leading, supporting and inspiring a team of two (Corporate Partnerships Manager and Fundraising Co-ordinator) to deliver the corporate partnerships strategy and individual giving strategy.
- Developing objectives and targets for the corporate partnerships team and ensuring accurate and timely reporting against these.
- Ensuring effective team use of Salesforce for relationship management, data management and providing information for financial reporting and audit purposes.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge and adherence to latest legislation, especially Fundraising legislation relating to corporate fundraising and best practice guidelines issued by the Fundraising Regulator, and GDPR.
New business development
- Periodically refreshing our corporate offer with creative ideas, proposals and content to inspire decision makers.
- Winning new business for The Access Project at the 5 and 6 figure level with support from the Director of Fundraising and Communications and the CEO/Executive team and Board.
- Managing the preparation and submission of major corporate partnership bids and coordinating internal teams to contribute effectively.
- Leading research and development to identify new fundraising opportunities.
- Ensuring high quality and inspiring communications and materials are produced in accordance with brand guidelines.
Account management and stewardship
- Delivering successful partnerships in your portfolio through excellent account management to maximise fundraising and volunteering potential and retain partners.
- Ensuring corporate partnerships are celebrated through working with Communications colleagues.
- Working collaboratively with the wider Fundraising Team, Volunteer Team, Programmes Team and other functions to deliver a fantastic partner experience and ensure an integrated and joined up approach.
Skills, knowledge and attitudes we’re looking for
- An impressive track-record in corporate fundraising. We will also consider exceptional candidates who have excelled in another field of fundraising, partnership management or sales or with a corporate background.
- Ability to work strategically, bringing others along with you, as well as being a hands-on fundraiser as part of a small team.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
This is an exciting role for an experienced campaigner (5-7+ years) to lead the design, development and delivery of a new campaign exposing the food security, environmental, climate, health and human right abuses and global injustice issues linked to the production and use of synthetic fertilisers.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Working closely with the Director of Campaigns, the Executive Director and other senior colleagues, lead the design and development of Feedback’s new campaign on industrial, fossil-fuel based agriculture reliant on synthetic fertilisers, formulating robust and striking policy positions and campaign asks that will result in socially equitable outcomes. During your first three months at Feedback you will:
a. Create an internal knowledge base on key aspects of fertiliser production and use based on a comprehensive review of the relevant technical and scientific literature;
b. Conduct supply chain mapping and scoping on corporate structures, ownership and market dynamics;
c. Build a network of allies supportive of our core objectives;
d. Build understanding of the interface between the livestock and fertiliser agendas.
2. Project manage implementation of Feedback’s fossil agriculture/ synthetic fertiliser campaign, which we currently plan to launch at COP29 in Azerbaijan;
3. Undertake research and analysis and produce high quality written campaign materials including reports, briefings, factsheets and open letters;
4. Produce written content for Feedback’s social media channels (e.g. blogs, posts);
5. Monitor key market and political/regulatory developments;
6. Build strategic relationships with journalists and represent Feedback in the media;
7. Engage at senior level with corporate executives and institutional representatives;
8. Represent Feedback at external meetings and conferences to engage and influence decision makers;
9. Participate in civil society coalitions and build a strong and effective network of like-minded organisations supportive of our work;
10. Commission research and manage external contractors where required;
11. Track and evaluate campaign impact;
12. Manage campaign budget and provide updates on campaign highlights to donors as required.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential requirements:
· Knowledge of global food systems and/or global energy systems issues and ability to quickly master a technical brief;
· Experience working on a global campaign;
· Experience working with the media;
· Excellent writing skills and confident public speaker;
· Ability to work autonomously;
· Flexibility, an appetite for teamwork and a learning mindset;

The role:
- Assist the Head of Finance with the preparation of the Greenpeace Ltd monthly management accounts.
- Provide support and advice to budget holders to aid budgetary understanding and ownership.
- Proactively work to improve finance processes, including developing budget management processes.
- Assist the Head of Finance in the efficient and timely preparation of the Greenpeace Ltd annual accounts production and the conduct of the annual audit.
- Represent the team at a senior level including providing financial advice to the organisation.

- Assist the Head of Finance with improving VAT reporting, compliance, analysis and organisational understanding.

The successful candidate will:
- Be a qualified, or a finalist Accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA or other chartered accountancy qualification) or will be qualified by experience.
- Have substantial experience of management accounting, budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
- Be a self-starter, with the ability to work on own initiative
- Have proven experience of delivering a business partnering focussed service and providing in depth insight, analysis and guidance to budget-holders.
- Support and believe in the aims of Greenpeace.
- Have highly developed communication skills with credibility to operate outside the finance function up to senior management level.

Fundraising Overview
- Develop, deliver, and monitor a fundraising strategy for The Cinnamon Trust.

Supporter Engagement and Stewardship

- To be responsible for thanking all supporters and managing a supporter engagement journey – ensuring that effective processes are in place and driving levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
- Act as the ‘first point of call’ for all fundraising volunteers and maintaining excellent communication with supporters throughout these processes, in conjunction with other teams.

Database Management

Surviving Economic Abuse (SEA) is the only UK charity dedicated to raising awareness of economic abuse and transforming responses to it. Our vision is a world in which all women and girls are economically equal and live their lives free of abuse and exploitation.
Economic abuse is a form of coercive and controlling behaviour: 95% of women who experience domestic abuse will experience economic abuse. It limits their choices and ability to access safety.
We work in partnership to ensure women have access to and control over their own economic resources. We focus on four strategic priorities: public education and awareness-raising; transforming professional responses; ensuring systems do not inadvertently facilitate economic abuse; and influencing policy.

About the Compass Project
The Compass Project Coordinator will work as part of an exciting new partnership between Surviving Economic Abuse (SEA), Living Without Abuse (LWA) and RISE (Refuge, Information, Support & Education). The Compass Project seeks to develop best practice responses to economic abuse within the coordinated community response by working with local professionals to help them understand and respond to economic abuse.
About the Compass Project Coordinator role
The Compass Project Coordinator will work to:
- Act as a point of contact for stakeholders across the Project areas (Brighton & Hove, Leicester, Rutland and Leicestershire), coordinating stakeholder engagement and access to training and resources.
- Work closely with the Interim Women’s Sector Manager to coordinate and implement the Compass Project in pilot sites.
The Compass Project Coordinator will:

Our research centres upon community health, positive health, participatory methods and agentic approaches. Our mission is to catalyse positive disruptions in the field of global health through publishing research and developing tools and partnerships. We are a small, international team of academics, entrepreneurs and development professionals.
Our focus over the last year has been developing alternative approaches to community health and sustainable development, leading to the development of the concept of community positive health and creation of an index to measure community positive health. Our approach is informed by extensive participatory fieldwork in low-resource settings around the world, for example Kenya, Peru and Sierra Leone. Our work is supported by rigorous scientific research in partnership with leading academic institutions, NGOs and in-country research institutions, for example University College London, Oregon State University, and Safe Water and Aids Project.
Stema has been backed by a single funding source to date. We are now looking to expand and diversify our revenue streams, providing an exciting opportunity for the CEO to develop and implement a sustainable fundraising strategy. We envisage that: (i) fundraising and (ii) the potential development and commercialisation of tools and technologies linked to our research may be pathways towards a sustainable business model that is consistent with our charitable objectives - but the ultimate strategy will be formed by the CEO.
As part of a fundraising strategy, the successful candidate will develop impact metrics that communicate the value of Stema’s work to potential donors - for example, by tying our impact to the Sustainable Development Goals, which will be familiar to funders. We might communicate our impact in relation to the following goals, but the successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape, adapt and refine these goals.

Key Objectives:

Secure fundraising and revenue streams to ensure financial sustainability and resilience.

Produce innovative outputs, for example, technology competitions / AI hackathons for global health; or digital tools based on the application of Stema research / concepts.
Responsibilities:

Formulate a sustainable business strategy to guide the charity’s growth and impact.

Cultivate innovative partnerships with other NGOs, academic institutions, and key stakeholders.

Lead and manage our small international team of academics, researchers, and innovators.

Enhance Stema's visibility across various platforms, with a focus on academic publications and a strengthened presence on social media.

Ensure strict adherence to all reporting requirements mandated by the Charity Commission.

Provide comprehensive reports to the charity's trustees and collaborate closely with them to uphold Stema's good governance standards.
Essential Skills:
-
Experience as a CEO, ideally at a charity or not-for-profit, with commercial and fundraising experience and a strong interest in global health or research; or
-
Extensive experience at a director-level position in global health or a related field, with client-facing and fundraising experience and professional qualifications such as an MBA.

5 years fundraising experience and a track record of successful resource mobilisation for social impact.

A minimum of 5 years of experience managing teams at a senior level.

Ability to build and maintain relationships with potential partners, donors and investors.

Familiarity with global health, development, and sustainability research and experience working in diverse community contexts globally.
