Senior Legacy & In Memory Direct Marketing Officer
Battersea is here for every dog and cat, and has been since 1860. Our multiple award-winning Income Generation department raises around 60% of the Charity’s total income, allowing us to continue to grow to make sure we can be here for every cat and dog, now and in the future.
We are looking for someone to join our team as a Senior Legacy & In Memory Direct Marketing Officer on a fixed term basis, to deliver Battersea’s Legacy and In Memory marketing and fundraising programme by independently managing multi-channel direct and wider marketing campaigns to recruit and attract new Legacy and In Memory donors.
The ideal candidate would have experience planning, implementing and evaluating direct marketing campaigns across a range of media channels, the ability to analyse results of campaigns and a passion for helping dogs and cats.
Please note that this is a 6-month fixed term contract.

Bereaved men are one of a number of priority audiences for Sands to engage, support and build relationships with. Sands United FC is a volunteer led peer support service and is born out of a clear need for fathers to be able to access support that is unique for men.. The post-holder will provide programme management for 6 months of the SUFC Best Practice Programme. This includes being responsible for establishing clear governance and process development for SUFC, embedding good practice in both volunteer governance and peer support.

The Events Assistant[CF1] is a crucial role at the College as you will help and support colleagues in the delivery of events, from administrative assistance in planning the events, to the production of event documentation, branding or collateral, in addition to liaising with events stakeholders, including speakers, programme leads and delegates.
As Events Assistant, you will provide comprehensive administrative support for online event registration, delegate bookings, delegate communications and associated queries. About the role
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team to provide administrative and event delivery support across all event and fundraising activities. We are looking for a Project Assistant to support INQUEST’s National Lottery Heritage Fund project, Unlocking the INQUEST archive: memorialising death and resistance. This project encourages engagement with the INQUEST archive and memorialises state-related death and resistance through creative outputs including: 12-month consultation, artist’s residency, banner making, small scale events, archival research, film screenings and a podcast series.
Organised, motivated by logistics, system-orientated, able to react efficiently to pressure, change and multitasking, the ideal candidate will possess outstanding communications skills necessary to liaising with a varied audience, including bereaved families and other key project stakeholders. They will be experienced in handling telephone calls, email correspondence, administration systems, and key IT software packages. Working closely with the project manager and project staff, they will support all components of our heritage project, including organising events and travel, liaising with key stakeholders, project social media and general administration. To provide project support to a number of programmes including:
• Operations – Initiatives to ensure our area is maintained as a clean, safe, well-managed and resilient through dedicated street management, effective communications and facilitated local networks

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operations Support
• Research and collate area information including crime statistics, planned street works, planned events and protests, planning and licensing
• Maintain Street Team rotas onto team calendar

The Role
As the right hand to our CEO, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth running of the Executive Office and supporting the Board’s administrative functions.
Responsibilities will include, but aren’t limited to:
- Provide high-level administrative support to the Chief Executive, including managing correspondence, reports, research, and confidential information with discretion.
- Act as the Chief Executive’s point of contact, handling inquiries, correspondence, and following up on actions.

Our ideal candidate? You’ll be a seasoned Executive Assistant, qualified in Business Administration to HND equivalent level or above, and with considerable experience providing full support at the highest levels of an organisation. You’ll have excellent organisational and communication skills, capable of engaging with colleagues and external stakeholders with ease. With a high level of autonomy, you’ll demonstrate exceptional integrity, confidentiality, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
You’ll be proactive, able to anticipate the needs of the Chief Executive, and adaptable to the fast-paced demands of the role. Previous experience working with Boards including preparing papers, report writing and servicing high-level meetings (including taking minutes) is essential. You’ll also have strong diary management skills, with the ability to plan ahead and handle multiple priorities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Executive Support
• Provide intelligent diary management and full Executive Assistant support to the CEO and two members of the Senior management team
• Project support for the Executive team including drafting presentations and papers, research, presentation of statistics, attending volunteering sessions and assisting in scheduling and task management.
• Manage all arrangements for Steering Group and Board meetings including the preparation of reports and papers proactively ensuring deadlines are met
• Implementation of assistive technology for the preparation of minutes from all governance meetings (c16 per year) and responsible for proofing and finalising minutes, ensuring actions are followed up and deadlines met
