We have just opened a brand-new supported homelessness accommodation project in Manchester this month, to provide 19-bedrooms to men who would otherwise be homeless. We have ambitious plans to continue to open up more projects like this.  We help thousands of adults, young people and children every year through our numerous projects and services. 

With pioneering plans for the future, we need exceptional fundraisers to join the team who will make it happen. The Grants and Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser will be the lead fundraiser helping to develop and manage the pipeline of opportunities, develop tailored partnership pitches, oversee corporate volunteering programmes, and provide impactful stewardship and reporting to funders, ensuring sustained and diversified income for the charity. They will focus on researching and securing funding from trusts, foundations and corporate partners by building and stewarding relationships, creative and innovative approaches to engage funders and tracking fundraising performance.

The Role

Role Summary

The Head of Apprenticeship Operations and Delivery sits at the heart of Ada’s apprenticeship programmes. They are responsible for the operational delivery of Ada’a apprenticeships across all sites, leading a cross-regional team to manage and deliver the compliant systems and processes required for exceptional apprenticeships, and oversee communications and support functions. The role is centred on the apprentices’ and employers’ experience and works closely with Ada’s central operations team.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Leadership of apprenticeship operations: Lead on all operational matters, including leading and line managing the delivery and compliance staff. This includes: recruiting and inducting team members; holding 1:1s; setting objectives; setting priorities; reporting on key metrics; and identifying and recommending improvements.
• Systems: Lead on ensuring the systems and processes necessary for degree apprenticeship delivery are in place, collaborating with the central data and impact teams to transition to a new CRM and learner record management system.
• Enrolment and onboarding: Manage the process for the admissions, enrolment and onboarding of apprentices, and work with the Apprenticeship Partnerships team on the onboarding of new employers.
• Delivery logistics: Enable effective delivery of apprenticeship training, working through the team to ensure the smooth running of induction and delivery weeks. This includes liaising with site staff, teaching colleagues and skills coaches, and managing logistics for in person delivery.
• Apprenticeship compliance: Work with the team to ensure that Ada’s programmes are compliant with the latest funding rules, including:
• The collection and storage of necessary documentation during enrolment
• Management of the online Apprenticeship Service
• Establishment and maintenance of compliant templates for training plans and apprenticeship agreements
• Quality Assurance of data collected for submission to the Individualised Learner Record (ILR)
• Monitoring of work output of other apprenticeship teams to ensure compliance E.g in setting training plans and establishing off the job hours.
• Apprenticeship funding: Work in partnership with the Finance Team on the planning and reconciliation of apprenticeship funding
• Apprentice enquiries: Deliver an efficient system to manage apprentice enquiries, allowing them to be dealt with in a timely manner and delivering excellent customer service.
• Communications to apprentices: Oversee cohort wide communication of programme information, ensuring apprentices are equipped with clear and timely details about their courses, including but not limited to apprentice handbooks, delivery dates, venue details and how to access support.
• Data and reporting: Ensure effective apprenticeship data management, and work closely with the Impact and Information team to ensure that all data reporting is integrated into Ada's core online systems wherever possible
• The apprentice experience: Place the apprentices’ experience at the heart of operational delivery, ensuring the delivery of excellent customer service, and taking into account the needs of Ada’s apprentices at each stage of their journey.
• Health, safety and wellbeing: The Apprenticeship Operations team has a shared responsibility with the other teams within apprenticeships to ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of apprentices. You will collaborate with other colleagues, in particular the central college operations team (including site managers), the college safeguarding team (Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and deputy DLSs), and skills coach team, to ensure the highest standards of provision and support, in the areas of: first aid provision, risk assessment, safeguarding of learners, fire safety, and wellbeing support.

We’re looking for a Fundraising Engagement Manager with great personality and team ethic to join our Regional Fundraising team.

You will maximise income for Young Live vs Cancer by coaching our supporters to reach their goals, whilst seeking out new fundraising opportunities for your geographical area. This role sits within the ‘Regional Engagement’ team and we need someone with natural customer service skills who wants to deliver a legendary experience to all of their supporters. Your team of supporters will range from volunteers and individuals, to groups and local corporates.

The East Anglia and Bedfordshire regions are areas filled with some of our most committed supporters, but there is still so much opportunity to grow corporate support across the counties. Our Social Workers support families from Cambridge hospitals, so building relationships with these teams are a must.

Brief about the role

Person Specification:

• Education at a minimum of Graduation, Masters in preferable in relevant field/ discipline.

• Experience of managing a WordPress website CMS, including Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), site navigation, Gutenberg page structuring. 
• Excellent writing skills and ability to consistently create content that is clear and engaging.

The role of our Events Coordinator is to drive forward Yorkshire Air Ambulance’s fundraising efforts through the coordination, delivery and review of our portfolio of income generating events throughout the year, and providing events expertise and support to colleagues across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Coordinate, plan and deliver a portfolio of events:
Concurrently project manage all aspects of specific events (charity-owned, third-party and challenge events), ensuring all tasks are assigned and completed as per each event’s project plan.
Produce event budgets and ensure events are run within budgeted expenditure and achieving budgeted income, negotiating with suppliers for the most cost-effective prices where appropriate.
To evaluate event performance against agreed objectives and ensure these insights and learnings inform future decision making and planning.
Propose new test events for the charity to diversify its portfolio, researching and building the business cases.
Maximise events income and develop new relationships with potential partners:
Monitor and manage the Events Fundraising budget for your responsible events and forecast as necessary, accounting for variances and taking a proactive approach where required.
Produce event evaluation reports at the end of each event to capture learnings and to support with planning for the next event.
Ensure future opportunities for the charity are followed-up post-event and are recorded as a soft-benefit in any event evaluation reports.
Ensure accurate recordkeeping of supporters, projects and events, using the Fundraising database.
Deliver high quality, donor-centric supporter care and stewardship, ensuring a quality experience for supporters at all events that reflect the values and identity of the YAA, and builds long-term relationships with our supporters.

Create and implement a marketing, communications and advertising plan:
Work alongside the marketing team to devise a multi-channel marketing plan for events and feed into the Fundraising team’s general marketing and communications planner.
Liaise with the Marketing and Communications department and external agencies to produce marketing material to support the promotion of events and post-event PR.
Update online event listings and ensure the YAA website event page is up-to-date.

Develop excellent relationships and represent YAA at the highest levels:
Maintain excellent, professional relationships with both new and existing supporters and suppliers.
Work with colleagues and volunteers across to raise the profile of and recruit event participants and attendees, and to pass on leads to relevant teams.
Keep abreast of new developments and trends in the fundraising events arena.

Team management:
Work closely with fundraising, marketing, admin and finance colleagues.
Recruit, co-ordinate, engage and motivate volunteers to support planning and delivery of events.

Budgetary responsibility:
Recommend an annual Events Fundraising budget for inclusion in YAA’s annual budget, with detailed income/expenditure breakdown, phasing, target ROI, rationale and key performance indicators.
To manage and monitor the budget events fundraising, ensuring income targets are met, costs are in line with the agreed budget.
Submit monthly written performance reports to the Directors of Fundraising.

Personal development:
Attend mandatory training, as directed by your line manager, to ensure underpinning knowledge, skills and competencies are developed and attained, to carry out your job effectively.
Continuously update and develop your expertise and knowledge of charity’s activities.
Share knowledge and skills with other members of the Fundraising Directorate.
Stay abreast of industry best practice, insights and emerging trends and taking proactive steps to quickly and effectively utilise and share findings to benefit the charity.
Develop relationships with peers in other organisations to keep abreast of new developments in the charity and events sectors and to share best practice.

General:
To act as an ambassador for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance by undertaking public speaking engagements when required to do so.
To attend Marketing/Fundraising and Regional meetings as required.
To ensure all systems and processes are followed in accordance with operating procedures.
Ensure accurate records are kept, using the CRM and appropriate MS Office programmes.

Experience, Knowledge and Skills Required:

Essential:
Experience in event coordination, preferably in the charity sector, and be able to demonstrate a strong track record in fundraising and achieving financial targets.

Well-developed interpersonal skills, particularly around negotiation, persuasion, motivational and collaborative attributes.
Full UK driving licence with access to own car.

The role of Supporter Care Officer is a key post in the organisation working to maximise CLAPA’s income from the community. It’s a very exciting time to join the CLAPA team, we have an ambitious Income Generation Strategy in place to increase our income diversity.
