About the role
The Ambassador and Media Relations Manager is key to amplifying the work of Help Musicians and its sister charity, Music Minds Matter, through external communications.
This role will grow our audiences by aligning high-profile voices with our marketing campaigns, press opportunities and communications strategies, consistently increasing the reach of the two charities. It also supports the understanding of our work by identifying media opportunities to tell our stories through opinion editorials, awards submissions features, and press releases in collaboration with our agency.
The Ambassador and Media Relations Manager will engage with influential voices who align with our cause, work and messaging and amplify our stories through the media and our owned channels. Strong interpersonal skills are essential to keep our ambassadors informed and engaged in our work as well as identifying and onboarding new voices who can champion our cause and grow our audience.
About you
We are looking for a dynamic professional who combines media expertise, interpersonal skills, and a strategic approach to drive impactful communication.
As a skilled communicator, you will have a strong background in media relations, including pitching stories to journalists, crafting press releases, and preparing briefings for both media and staff. Your ability to turn complex data into digestible insights tailored to specific audiences sets you apart. You will have worked closely with musicians and/or industry leaders, building strong relationships through interpersonal skills.
Your communication skills extend to both written and verbal domains, being adept at report writing, public speaking, and delivering engaging presentations.
Whilst not essential, our ideal candidate may also have a strong understanding of the music industry and its networks, along with a useful contact book.

Main Responsibilities
What you'll do:
- You’ll be our 'go-to’ person for Salesforce end users;
- Support the day-to-day platform administrative functions and configuration including user management, permissions, sharing rules, objects, fields, page layouts, record types, custom settings, reports & dashboards;
- Working on declarative development utilising Flows, custom objects, workflows, validation rules and security configuration;
- Support day-to-day user queries;
- Proactive system maintenance including keeping up with Salesforce releases, features and best practices;
- Data management to improve Salesforce data quality, implementing rules and automation as needed;
- Collaborate with Fundraising, Bereavement Services and Marketing & Communications to gather and analyse business requirements and translate into scalable solutions;
- Provide ongoing user training and create training materials/technical documentation as needed;
- Communication of any platform changes to end users and stakeholders;
- Implement and enforce security best practices to protect sensitive data;
- Ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations and internal policies;
- Account manage our outsourced Salesforce & IT partner support companies.

Person Specification

- Certified Salesforce Administrator with at least 1 years’ experience or someone with 1 years’ experience of working in Salesforce at an administrator level (but would like to achieve the Salesforce Administrator Certification);

- Demonstrated experience implementing Salesforce configuration changes including (but not limited to): Flow, fields, page layouts, record types, custom settings, dashboards and reports;
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills and ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels;
- A proactive attitude to implementing best practice solutions;
- Demonstrates enthusiasm towards continued personal/professional development;
- Hands-on experience with either Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Sales Cloud, NPSP and/or FormAssembly, don’t worry if you haven’t got experience of all of them;
- Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, effectively and appropriately with colleagues at all levels.

- During the first 6 months, time will be allocated to self-learning/self-development via Salesforce’s Trailhead learning platform and other resources;

We’re looking for an experienced Social Media Manager who can bring together words and pictures to tell social stories and help inspire one million people to take action to protect, restore and create bigger, better, more connected wetlands.
This role will develop channel strategies and lead the content planning across our national social accounts, working with teams across WWT to seek out engaging stories and bring them to life for our online audiences. We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Events Manager to lead the planning and delivery of a diverse portfolio of fundraising events. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the meticulous planning, project management, and execution of events both in the UK and overseas, ensuring every detail is flawlessly implemented to deliver an exceptional supporter experience. As an Events Manager, you will be involved in building and nurturing strong relationships with event partners and sponsors, constantly seeking innovative opportunities to enhance and expand our event portfolio.

You will be responsible for the comprehensive management of our owned events, overseeing everything from course design and venue coordination, to health & safety logistics and commemorative ceremonies. With a keen eye for detail, you will produce and manage project plans, budgets, and reports, ensuring all events align with departmental strategies and exceed key performance indicators. Your ability to evaluate and recommend improvements will be crucial in optimising the return on investment and net contribution of our events. Additionally, you will lead and manage an Events Logistics Coordinator, guiding their professional development and performance.
We are committed to providing the best supporter experience. You will work collaboratively with the wider team to maximise supporter engagement and satisfaction at every touchpoint. Your leadership on event days will be vital in ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for our participants. By supporting marketing, acquisition, and stewardship initiatives, you will play a key role in achieving our fundraising goals and representing the charity at various events, including multi-day events as required.
Building and maintaining robust relationships with internal departments, event organisers, and external agencies is a cornerstone of this role. You will work closely with sponsors, corporate partners, and suppliers to deliver high-quality events, while also seeking new business opportunities. Your ability to navigate complex stakeholder relationships, including those with local government officials and dignitaries, will ensure the smooth delivery of events and ceremonies. Managing contracts, procurement processes, and supplier relationships will be integral to maintaining the highest standards of event execution.

You will be contracted to our London Hub, Haig House. Under our Future Working framework, there will be some flexibility for working remotely/at home, using our collaboration tools to work with colleagues but with a minimum expectation of two days/week connecting directly face-to-face with colleagues at the hub when not travelling in the course of your work.
If you possess a full valid driving license, proven experience in high-profile event management, and a track record of successful budget management, we want to hear from you. Fluency in French and experience with CRM databases such as CARE are desirable but not essential.
