About the programme

As well as a commitment to the organisations we work with, we have a commitment to our people and developing the next generation of leaders within the social impact, consultancy and evaluation sectors. We are excited to launch our two-year career and leadership development programme which will provide an opportunity to work within, and rotate between, our organisational practices.

We are delighted that you are interested in joining the Social Impact Fast Track. In the first year of your programme you will join the team as an Analyst and, subject to successful completion of year one, in year two you will progress to Senior Analyst. During your two-year programme you will work within at least two of our organisational practices. You will work directly with our partners, understanding their needs and supporting them to maximise their impact. During the programme you will also lead pro-bono projects for our corporate social responsibility partners.

In addition to gaining experience with our partners and within our teams, you will undertake a structured learning and development programme which includes mentoring from one of our Group Directors, and regular learning and development sessions including a dedicated professional development budget. Between years one and two you will receive a two-week paid break and a budget of up to £1500 to complete a research project on ‘Impact and Sustainability’ and report your findings back to representatives of our Group Board. You will also have the opportunity to have a two-week placement in one of our partner organisations, to help you develop your professional skill set. At the end of the programme we expect a number of participants to apply for and progress into our Officer and Manager roles, or look to secure positions with our partners or other like minded social purpose organisations.

We are looking for a part time Information & Advocacy Community Support Worker in Scotland.  You will be home based living in the North of Scotland.

You will ensure that service users (children and adults) and their families, receive high quality support, from the point of diagnosis and throughout their journey, and will assist them to access funding, equipment and care and support that they are entitled to. You will join a team that makes a real difference to the lives of the people living with muscle-wasting conditions, and their families, in Scotland. The role will be primarily home based, but there will also be a requirement to attend outpatient clinics within the region, attend home visits where appropriate and to support responding to queries through the helpline and information inbox. Some travel will be required to attend meetings and events outside of Scotland. You will work with both statutory and voluntary organisations, clinicians, and health and social care professionals to ensure that people living with muscle wasting conditions get the care and support they need to live well and independently.

About the role

We’re looking for a Legacy Marketing Officer to join our Individual Giving and Legacy Team.

It’s an exciting time to join the Legacy Team as we are embarking on a new era for legacy and in memory giving at Young Lives vs Cancer.  In memory giving and gifts in Wills left to us by our supporters are essential to ensuring we can help generations of children and young people who will sadly be living with a cancer diagnosis. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Legacy Marketing Officer to play a pivotal role in supporting the Legacy Marketing Manager to plan, implement and deliver legacy and in-memory strategies.

The Legacy Officer will work on a range of legacy and in-memory campaigns, materials and supporter centric journeys across multiple channels.  As a team we will maximise legacy and in memory giving and acquire new legacy and in memory supporters, as well as nurturing existing supporters who have expressed an interest in leaving a gift in their Will for the future of Young Lives vs Cancer’s work. 

The role will suit a passionate and creative individual who thrives on working collaboratively and who is able to manage end to end projects and supplier relationships.  There will be a need to analyse data to monitor performance as well as identifying trends and opportunities. Fulfilment mapping is also a key element of the role as well as being comfortable presenting in person to colleagues and suppliers.

What will I be doing?

Right now, we’re looking for a technical expert with experience of developing and maintaining ELT pipelines to move data between enterprise applications (a mix of both in-house and external and on-prem and in the cloud). Day-to-day, you’ll be responsible for developing ETL processes using Fabric and Synapse linking from a variety of data sources to a wide variety of targets on-prem, cloud platforms and in Azure. We’ll also rely on you to ensure business requirements for new data feeds or changes are understood and translated into efficient and effective technical solutions. Exploring new ways to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of data management across Shelter will be important too, as will transforming and centralising raw data from multiple platforms into user friendly reporting data. Job purpose:

To engage and motivate our target audiences by delivering Rewilding Britain's social media outputs and assisting with our email campaigns and website content, with a view to continually enhancing our impact.

Line Manager: Digital Communications Lead

Your responsibilities will include:

Social media delivery and community management

• Plan and deliver inspiring and effective social media content, including as part of engagement campaigns, fundraising appeals and initiative launches, and in support of our partners and members.
• Produce text- and video-/graphic-based social media posts and campaigns that are both suited to our target audiences and adapted for the most appropriate social channels.
• Carry out community management across the charity's digital channels, triaging queries and drafting responses.
• Assist with the optimisation of Rewilding Britain's current social media channels and the identification of new opportunities/platforms/trends that would help further our mission.
  

Email communications 

• Support the Communications and Engagement team with the planning, building and scheduling of email communications (campaigns, supporters, fundraising, corporate partners etc) within Mailchimp.
• Assist with the AB testing of our email marketing and executing a plan of continuous improvement for our emails.
• Support with managing our enquiry inboxes as and when required.
  

Reporting and optimising

• Collate statistics on the performance of our social and email channels, in line with our KPIs, and work closely with the Digital Communications Lead to make ongoing recommendations for our output.
• Implement feedback and lessons learned to refine and improve our social media approach.
• Stay current with sector and specialist trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously grow the effectiveness of our channels, particularly social media.

Communications support

• Take responsibility for triaging internal requests for content output across our channels and coordinate this across the Communications and  Engagement team.
• Assist the team in keeping our image library up to date, by uploading and tagging new imagery.
• Support the team by uploading content to Rewilding Britain's website, following best practice. You may also provide support for more involved web optimisation projects.
• Support with the preparation and delivery of online and in-person events. As well as providing social media and email support, this could include representing Rewilding Britain alongside other team members at events, exhibitions, workshops, conferences, rallies and more.
• Contribute to content production across the team, where relevant, such as producing blogs or carrying out image research.
• Support the Communications Team with general administrative tasks where required.

Skills, experience and behaviours

Experience

Essential

•  At least two years' experience in a similar digital communications role, delivering successful content across social media and/or email to further organisational objectives.
• Proven experience in managing social media channels in a professional role, including LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok, as well as others that might be relevant for Rewilding Britain.
• Experience of reporting on digital communications and campaigns and measuring impact, using analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Plausible and social media management tools such as Hootsuite and Metricool.

Desirable

• Experience working in a sector relevant to rewilding, and understanding of the rewilding movement.
• Experience in producing email communications in a professional environment.
• Experience in managing web content, with an understanding of best practice and familiarity with web content management

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for effective engagement.
• Skills in creative content development, such as video creation and editing and producing simple graphics for our channels.

Terms and conditions and staff benefits

The role is a full-time, 5-day-week (35 hours) position.

The salary is £23,000 - £27,000 per annum depending upon experience.

There will be some freedom for the person to determine their own working arrangements each week, within limitations, providing the work is delivered.

Rewilding Britain employees benefit from 25 days annual leave per year (pro rata for part time roles), rising to 30 days over 5 years. A generous employer-matched pension scheme is also available.

We are a virtual team who work from home and/or co-working spaces. We will support you to achieve a suitable virtual working environment. Some meetings are held face to face across Britain, so a willingness to travel with occasional overnight stays is desirable.

Kids Club Kampala is a UK charity with a Christian ethos that works to transform the lives of children in the slums of Kampala in Uganda. Job Description

Financial Administration 

• Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate financial records, including processing receipts, invoices, payments, and expenses.

• Budgeting and Reporting: Assist in the preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, and reports for internal management and external stakeholders.

• Grant Management: Track income and expenditure related to grants and restricted funds, ensuring compliance with donor requirements.

• Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manage payments to suppliers and reconcile incoming donations and funds.

• Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank accounts on a regular basis to ensure the accuracy of financial statements.

• Gift Aid Claims: submit regular gift aid claims to HMRC and ensure declaration forms are up to date

Administrative Duties:

• Donation processing: Timely and accurate processing of donations including creating receipts and data management.

• Office Management: Oversee general administrative tasks, including managing office supplies, correspondence, file management and documentation.

• HR Administration: Support the HR function with staff records, leave tracking, and recruitment documentation.

• Board and Committee Support: Assist with preparing financial reports, minutes and other documentation for Board meetings and other key committees.

• Database Management: Maintain accurate donor and client databases, ensuring data protection compliance.

About you

This role is an exciting opportunity to work alongside the Mental Health Liaison Team at Milton Keynes University Hospital to support individuals presenting on hospital wards with a mental health crisis and deliver one-to-one crisis focused support, whilst also supporting them to access the Crisis Café, other Mind BLMK services or other external services within their local community. 

Working alongside the Mental Health Liaison Team at Milton Keynes University Hospital the Crisis Recovery Worker will support individuals presenting on hospital wards with a mental health crisis in the evenings/weekends and deliver one-to-one crisis focused support.

Service Delivery 

• Effectively and thoroughly assess levels of risk for people accessing the service. 

• Take a holistic approach based on the individuals needs and enable individuals to explore the situation affecting their mental health and wellbeing and support them to access the Crisis Café, other Mind BLMK services or other external services within their local community. 

• Work with individuals to co-produce a safety plan to address their crisis, based on the persons situation, coping strategies and mechanisms in place. 

• Work in an agile between other Mind BLMK services including Milton Keynes Crisis Café, Milton Keynes Young Person’s Sanctuary, 111 option mental health and cover where needed. 

• Bring the expertise and value of voluntary sector to the statutory environment and work in a collaborative and blended way. 

• Bring a pioneering spirit to the role and a willingness to work on a new, innovative project.Carry out health and safety responsibilities as directed by Managers in line with Mind BLMK’s H&S policies, procedures, and guidance (risk assessments, reviews, reporting, safeguarding, incidents/accidents, premises).

About the role

Sightsavers’ work in the field of education is driven by the principle of inclusive and equitable quality education and lifelong learning opportunities for all. We are looking for a Global Technical Lead – Inclusive Education to provide technical leadership and expertise in inclusive education to guide the development and delivery of specific initiatives and programmes.

As the Global Technical Lead for Inclusive Education, you will support Sightsavers to promote inclusive education for children, youth, and adults with disabilities in education systems in West Africa, East, Central and Southern Africa (ECSA), and South Asia. Working across multiple countries, you will ensure that disability inclusion is at the centre of conceptualisation, design and implementation of Sightsavers’ projects.

Strong communication skills in English and French are essential for this role, as is the availability to travel 12-16 weeks a year, nationally and internationally.

The minimum requirements for this post are as follows:

• To provide technical leadership and expertise in inclusive education at the programmatic level
• To strengthen the global programme portfolio in inclusive education through leading strategic and technical inputs in proposal development for funding opportunities.
• To pioneer new strategic initiatives and innovative approaches in inclusive education to improve and enhance the quality of Sightsavers’ work, especially in cross-cutting priority areas like climate action, gender equity and the use of data and evidence.
• To contribute to the research, innovation, policy, advocacy and communications agendas through close collaboration with interdepartmental teams and key external stakeholders.
• To undertake senior level representation of Sightsavers as an expert in inclusive education at national, regional and international professional and sector-specific networks, platforms, conferences and meetings. 

About You: Skills and Experience

This is an ideal opportunity to build on your existing expertise in leading and developing programmes in inclusive education in lower income countries. We are looking for a skilled communicator with the ability to build strong working relationships across different departments and work collaboratively as a member of our cross-functional teams.

The essential skills needed for this role are:

• Business to fluent French language skills
• A Postgraduate qualification (minimum Master’s) or equivalent experience in a relevant field, e.g. education, special needs education; disability, international development
• A proven record of leading, developing and implementing programmes in inclusive education in lower income countries.
• Experience of working with national governments and international institutions such as Global Partnership for Education, UN agencies, bilateral agencies as well as non-state actors to contribute to education system transformation.
• Knowledge of current developments, issues and best practice in inclusive education to effectively address the barriers to education for children with disabilities
• Able to travel for up to 12-16 weeks a year (regional and international).
