The successful candidate will work with multiple stakeholders, from mediation trainees and volunteer practitioners, to housing associations, workplaces and students, to agree their conflict resolution learning needs. The role has two aspects: 1. training sessions; 2. support of practitioner engagement. Our latest pracitioners joined in May 2024 and others have been with us for decades. They are engaged and interesting so your role in supporting their ongoing learning, supervision and socials is entertaining and educational. The training campaigns range from 'awareness sessions', (advice/information to enable better understanding of how we can help), to our 'Accredited Mediator' courses which run for two weeks plus a written Portfolio. You will also be involved in our annual 'Calm Connect' event which is a showcase for the sector, with top speakers and always a lively & interesting Q&A.

As the commissioned Restorative Justice Service for London and a Registered Service Provider with the Restorative Justice Council, Calm Mediation are committed to providing safe, high quality support to RJ participants.
If you are a Restorative Justice practitioner with a passion for supporting those affected by crime to find a positive way forward, this role is for you.
The RJ Case Coordinator will be the first point of contact for non-complex referrals into the service and will manage a busy and varied case load. You will be responsible for progressing referrals including undertaking risk assessments and case reviews, liaison with referrers, police, probation, and prisons, overseeing and supporting our team of volunteer practitioners who facilitate the casework and undertaking a variety of administrative duties associated with the role.
You will be an RJ practitioner at Foundation level or above, with a varied experience of case work. Experience of working with volunteers and knowledge of Salesforce case management system is desirable.
You will be supported in your professional development, RJC registration or renewal and membership. You will have the opportunity for facilitation of case work, relevant training and continued professional development.
This position is a flexible hybrid role - working remotely from home and/or from our office premises in Camberwell, South East London - with an expectation that you will travel to team meetings and events in London several times per year and undertake in-person case work across London and the wider prison estate.

The Improving Rivers team is a dynamic and driven team which seeks to deliver effective and long-term restoration of river and catchment ecosystems. We work in cross sectoral partnership across the Thames Basin. The team takes a nature-based solutions approach and explores innovations as well as effectively deliver standard impactful approaches which drive the restoration of river ecosystems.

Purpose of the role
The postholder will support the strategic development of the Improving Rivers portfolio in collaboration with the Head of Improving Rivers and Improving Rivers Managers. The postholder will be responsible for implementing the strategic development of the team in partnership with the Improving Rivers Managers, whilst oversee and supporting the Improving Rivers Managers to implement Thames21 projects and programmes that achieve our 5 year plan goals. The Improving Rivers team covers a diverse portfolio including teams focused on River Restoration, Environmental Evidence, Catchment Partnerships and Rural Solutions. These programmes including cross sectoral work including public, private, academic and community partners, as well as using mechanisms such as Environmental Markets and implementing (and challenging) government policy. These outcomes are integrated into the work on Thames21’s Engagement and Learning Team that develops and delivers a wide range of practical volunteering activities and targeted recruitment and awareness raising to ensure project better reflect the communities we work in and improve health and wellbeing outcomes.
Thames21 is looking for a skilled leader and with strategic vision who must have a genuine passion for and understanding of our mission and a love of rivers.
Main duties and responsibilities:
1) Strategic Direction
Support the strategic development of the Thames21 Improving Rivers Portfolio of work, in liaison with the Head of Improving Rivers and the Chief Executive.
o Support development of operational targets that directly contribute to achieving the organisations mission and priority area of Thames21’s 5 year plan 2023-2028.
o Support development of strategies and oversee the implementation of action plans to achieve targets and organisation mission.
o Ensure that effective Monitoring and Evaluation procedures are embedded across the organisation’s projects and programmes.
o Ensure E&L projects and programmes integrate and complement Thames21’s other work, whilst maintaining good relationships with the senior management team.
2) Leadership and Management
Managing the Improving Rivers Team, support and directing managers, programme and budget oversight to achieve the objectives of Thames21’s strategy plan.
o Support and develop Improving Rivers Managers to achieve their targets and objectives including the development of their teams/areas of work
o Guide, support the Improving Rivers Team in the delivery of the portfolio of work, ensuring their well-being, performance at work and professional development.
o Enable cross team collaborations and development for multi-benefits.
3) Business and organisation development
Support and enable delivery of Thames21’s wider strategy.
o Support development that will enhance the organisations performance and be responsible for seeing them through to implementation
o Support oversight of and lead on bids and project development for funds/programmes which are assessed on their technical competencies related to the Improving Rivers portfolio
o Support development of Strategic Environmental Markets and support/lead development of large/strategically important government bids/funding for Improving Rivers in partnership with other areas
o Support the creation of systems that build the skills of the team so they can develop more strategic and impactful projects and programmes independently and ensure they are implemented.
o Development and support strategic partnerships to achieve the organisation goals.
4) Work with the Head of Improving Rivers and Senior Management Team to ensure the organisation is performing effectively and that its systems and processes support the successful implementation of the Five-Year Plan.
o Ensure the organisation is financially sustainable and carry out accurate financial management, auditing invoicing, reporting and planning.
o Support development of organisational policies, practices and structures and ensure they are applied across the organisation.
o Ensure resources are applied proportionally across the organisation.
o Establish and maintain practices of data collection for portfolio measurement indices, ensuring the data is entered into Thames21’s data collection platforms.
o Oversee the application of Health and Safety throughout the team

Are you passionate about capturing and sharing learning from projects and programmes and able to analyse and summarise key points from a wealth of information? ISEAL´s Innovations Fund is a central component of our work to catalyse innovations that improve the effectiveness and deepen the impacts of market-based approaches to sustainability. This is an exciting role to support the development of a learning agenda and value proposition for the Fund as well as producing relevant communications and reports.
First launched in 2016, the Fund supports innovative projects by ISEAL Community Members to help sustainability systems deliver more value to their stakeholders and effectively drive sustainability improvement on the ground, over time, and at scale. The Fund provides grants that enable recipients to develop and test new technologies and approaches, while drawing out cross-project learning to share with the wider sustainability community.
The Associate Manager will work closely with grantees to improve the ways learning is extracted from the projects. We will look to the position to take ownership of the engagement processes necessary to collate and share lessons learnt in a strongly collaborative setting with Community Member organisations or other stakeholders.
The key responsibilities we entrust you with
Implementation of Innovations Fund learning agenda
- Develop and maintain an overall learning agenda for the Fund, and support Fund and programme team on its delivery
- Organise and conduct stakeholder interviews and other forms of research to extract project learnings, alone and in collaboration with other project staff
- Facilitate peer to peer interactions between organisations participating in projects to share and discuss learning, including supporting the organisation and delivery of project workshops and ISEAL events such as Members Weeks
- Capture key learnings from grantees based on the learning agenda by leading the design of grantee knowledge sharing sessions (theme-focused learnings), as well as cross-thematic learning workshops
- Lead explorations on the need for external research and scoping activities to inform the focus of Fund’s thematic funding rounds.
- Project manage work with external consultants on research and scoping activities
- Propose and implement methodologies for capturing the learning and studies of fund effectiveness during and after project implementation
Communications
- Working with the rest of the Innovations Fund team, identify key spaces for increasing Fund’s visibility (e.g., key players or events in the innovations space) and map internal and external stakeholders for engagement and to widen the Fund´s impact
- Support implementation of the Fund’s communications strategy, identifying target audiences for Fund project outputs and the best approach and learning products for each
- Identify external events to which the Fund can actively contribute
- Produce briefing papers, blogs, case studies and slide decks, and manage content on ISEAL’s online platforms, to communicate project findings, outcomes, and achievements
- Produce impact case studies for use in multiple comms channels
- Working with thematic leads for various Innovations Fund grant rounds, extract and analyse data to identify key lessons as well as trends and produce reports to share practical lessons and insights
- Project manage work with external designers to produce fund related material
Process Improvements
- Review and input on call announcements, application and full proposal templates to ensure incorporation of the learning and/or communications components
- Recommend improvements to grantee narrative and learning report and other templates to ensure incorporation of learning and/or communications components
Other
- Support organisation in Monitoring & Evaluation tasks and contribute to donor reporting
- Help to ensure that the Innovations Fund and related activities deliver on annual workplans, meet commitments to donors

Essential experience, knowledge and attributes
- Solid experience in a role related to project or programme learning activities, analysis of project data and reporting of lessons learnt
- General knowledge of international development and/or sustainability context where sustainability systems operate
- Ability to quickly grasp new concepts and topical areas
- Excellent project management skills, with ability to establish and manage priorities
- Excellent writing skills and ability to synthesise and distil technical information for a range of audiences

At Cruse Bereavement Support, we are looking for a Trust and Foundations Manager to lead our vitally important trusts and foundations income stream. This is a key role for us, and we are looking for an experienced trusts and foundations fundraiser looking to take this work to the next level. You will line-manage a Trusts and Foundations Officer and be part of a wider Partnerships Team, which includes national corporate partnerships, external training and consultancy. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the editorial production of the organisation’s journal.
- Contribute to the sub-editing and layout of articles in the content management system for the journal's online platform.
- Proofread and finalise pages for online publication.
- Handle administrative processes related to the journal’s production.
- Provide copywriting and editorial support across the organisation’s digital channels.
- Source and write/repurpose news stories and messaging for targeted audiences and channels.
- Understand the importance of design and imagery in supporting messaging.
- Collaborate with internal teams on editorial opportunities.

Person Specification:

Job Summary

A day in the life of a Cluster Manager will involve:

The Role:
Reporting to the Head of Services you will oversee the operations of the charity’s services provision. You will ensure the delivery and outcomes align with the relevant service strategy and with the overarching organisational objectives and values.
Key responsibilities:
- Recruitment and management of regional coordinators and regional service volunteers.
- Working across the charity to ensure integration of the Services team across the organisation.
- Monitoring and control of budgets relating to the services department.
- Managing outsourced service providers.
- Overseeing and reviewing literature orders ensuring swift and cost-effective delivery.
- Providing support to the helpline team by answering nonclinical/dietetic enquiries.
- Supporting and coordinating projects as appropriate and managing these as required from start to finish.

About you:
To be successful in the role you must have:
- Demonstrable experience of management of services.
- Experience working in the charity sector, or closely with healthcare professionals, ideally within the NHS or private healthcare (other sectors would be considered).
- Strong proven experience of developing and driving forward new services.
- Experience in developing and managing strong relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders, including senior healthcare professionals.
- An understanding of the UK health systems, CVD services and NHS structures, both nationally and locally.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective working relationships with a wide range of people.
