The role
We have recently set a new 3-year strategy, leading to a major transformation of the organisation. To support this, we are building a new Project Delivery function and investing in key capabilities, including project management and business analysis. This role involves collaborating with project managers and stakeholders to define and refine project requirements, develop comprehensive business cases, and ensure the successful delivery of project outcomes. You will also provide mentoring to colleagues and support the organisation in adopting new practices and methodologies.
This is a hybrid role, based in London or Sheffield, with regular travel across the UK.
About you
You are an experienced business analyst with a strong background in supporting complex projects, particularly those involving technology. You have a track record of eliciting and translating business needs into comprehensive and accurate project requirements and working collaboratively with technical teams and stakeholders to deliver successful project outcomes. As a self-starter, you can quickly build relationships and support colleagues in adopting new project management and business analysis methodologies. You are patient and supportive, capable of fostering adoption of new practices and ensuring consistency across the organisation.
Main responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and refine project requirements.
- Develop comprehensive business cases to justify project initiation or continuation.
- Conduct detailed analysis to identify business needs, opportunities, and solutions.
- Translate business requirements into clear and concise user stories or specifications.
- Work with stakeholders to ensure project requirements are fully understood and met.
- Facilitate project reviews to capture organisational learning and ensure continuous improvement.
- Lead UAT processes, support end-user testers, gather results and feedback, and ensure the solution meets the requirements.
- Mentor colleagues with limited business analysis experience.
- Contribute to training and support for people affected by new systems and processes.
- Champion new project management and business analysis methodologies, supporting colleagues in adopting new practices.

Person specification
Essential criteria
- Proven track record in identifying vulnerabilities in organisations’ processes and devising data-driven solutions for improvements.
- Demonstrable experience supporting complex projects to successfully meet strategic goals.
- Critical thinker, able to break down complex problems, identify patterns and gather relevant data
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
- Experience with different project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
- Self-starter with a proactive approach.
- Patient and supportive, capable of guiding colleagues through new methodologies.
- Ability to work in an unstructured environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office and business analysis tools.
- Business Analysis qualification (BCS, IIBA, or equivalent).

About the role:
We are looking to appoint a Family Support Worker to deliver high-quality family support services as part of our South West Care Team.
Reporting to the Family Support Manager and working in partnership with health, education, and social care professionals, you will take responsibility for providing needs-led emotional, social, and practical support to families where a child/young person has a life threatening or terminal illness.
Having worked in a stressful and emotional environment you will have a genuine interest in building supportive relationships and helping people; and having provided bereavement support to families, you understand processes of grief, loss, and change - and how best to help others deal with its impact.

This role will cover the South West focusing on the Weston-super-Mare area.

We are looking for a motivated and talented individual to bolster the analytical and data visualisation capacity across Ambition Institute’s Partnerships division.
As a Partnerships Data Analyst, you’ll be the expert on providing easy-to-understand data visualisation and reporting solutions to support Ambition Institute’s Sales, Partnerships, Marketing, Admissions and Development teams.
Sitting in the Partnerships Operations team, you will work with stakeholders across the department to provide teams with data driven insight that enables the teams to make effective decisions and to monitor their recruitment pipeline efficiently and accurately.
We would like you to:
- Support continuous improvement by building reporting tools to improve task efficiency for internal customers, and investigate and resolve data issues and queries
- Ensure accuracy and consistency between our data and DfE and Ofsted data, and benchmark our data against public sector statistics.
- Produce regular reports for senior stakeholders, providing oversight and insights into recruitment pipelines and performance using Power BI and Salesforce.
- Provide written and in person guidance on how to use reporting tools, interpret data, and maintain data cleanliness within the department.
Working in a hybrid way, you’ll be attached to either our Birmingham, London or Manchester office and will report to the Associate Director of Partnerships Operations. In line with our current ways of working, you’ll be expected to be in the office at least 1 day a month, in addition to team days and this may be reviewed by Ambition.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
To succeed in this role you'll have proven experience in working with quantitative data, undertaking analysis and providing reports to senior stakeholders. You will need to have experience of working with data stored in a CRM such as Salesforce, Excel skills, and proficiency with data visualisation tools such as Power BI or similar. Strong communication skills, the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, and the ability to manage sensitive information with discretion are also essential in this role.

When a family member has a spinal cord injury, it can be difficult to acknowledge and accept that their injury will affect you too.
You might find it difficult to express and share how you have been affected by these events, especially to your loved one with the injury. Overwhelming feelings of guilt, helplessness, confusion and isolation are very common.
Back Up’s Family Support team are there to help. Right from the point of injury, our Family Support Coordinators work together with the family and the injured person to create their own ‘Family Plan’ - making sure they have access to information and support throughout the rehabilitation journey.
As a Family Support Coordinator, you will build relationships with professionals to encourage referrals and manage a caseload. Whether it be meeting family members in a clinical setting, providing a listening ear from someone who ‘just gets it!’, or making referrals for ongoing support from a range of partners or statutory agencies – you will be passionate about being able to demonstrate the impact of what we do, and will see for yourself how Back Up quite literally transforms lives.

Key Responsibilities
· develop and maintain an exemplary understanding of the needs of young people and youth organisations in London.

About the role
Location: Hybrid role in our Warrington Office, covering a national telephone based service.
Our invaluable service operates seven days a week covering Monday to Wednesday 9am-8pm, and Thursday to Sunday 9am-5pm - it’s the first point of contact for anyone calling us who has been diagnosed with Dementia or their immediate families, friends and carers. The Warrington office holds a team of people who are passionate and want to improve the life opportunities of people living with dementia and those close to them.
During these calls the Adviser will assess their needs sensitively, guiding them to other services and networks in their local area where necessary. At times these calls can be emotional and challenging for a number of reasons, so patience and compassion is needed to build trust with the caller and get the best possible outcome for everyone concerned.
The service also receives calls from local community services and national services seeking support and guidance on all aspects of Dementia and those affected by the condition.
Additionally, the role involves making outbound calls and providing clear, well thought out responses to email enquiries.
All aspects of the role should be performed with the individual in mind and delivered in line with the objectives and performance measures set by the service manager.
About you
The successful candidate should be an empathetic, motivated and professional individual who wants to make a difference to those affected by Dementia. Whilst the criteria below are not essential, they will be beneficial for the advisor role:
- Previous experience in a telephone-based or customer facing role

IPSEA is a national charity that works to ensure that children and young people with SEND receive the educational support they are legally entitled to. Since we were formed in 1983, we have helped to improve the education experience of thousands of children and young people with all kinds of SEND. We do this by providing free and independent legal advice and casework support, undertaking policy work and delivering training on the SEND law framework.
We’re looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Training Coordinator to coordinate and organise our SEND law training sessions.
About our training
IPSEA’s legal team and training courses set the standard in SEND law education. We run between 10 and 16 courses a month covering a range of SEND law topics for both parents/carers and professionals. In addition, we organise webinars every quarter for parents and carers on current issues we are seeing.
Our training encompasses both spot purchase sessions, which we schedule and offer for individuals to book, and commissioned training, which organisations can arrange specifically for their teams.
Key responsibilities
As the Training Coordinator, you will:
- Organise all our live training events (remote or in person) and handle the administration for each session.
- Coordinate the entire process from timetabling, reserving trainers, managing enquiries, handling website bookings, reserving places, setting up remote training links, and liaising with the finance team.
- Launch virtual training sessions, admit attendees, and address any ad hoc enquiries.
- Seek responses to post-training questionnaires once sessions are complete.
- Manage various online/e-learning courses, including setting up users, managing accounts, uploading updated courses, and reporting to users as required.
We are looking for a good communicator, a team player and someone who is organised and efficient. You will be confident using the telephone, emails and video conferencing and have a professional and friendly communication style. First Give
First Give is a national charity that inspires young people to make a difference to the causes they care about. We do this through working in partnership with secondary schools, providing a fully resourced scheme of work that guides an entire year group of students to engage with local charities and causes and then carry out social action (fundraising, raising awareness, campaigning, volunteering etc.) in support of them.
At the end of each programme, a celebratory School Final is held at each school, where teams representing each class deliver presentations about their projects. The class considered to have engaged the best with the programme secures a First Give grant of £1,000 for their chosen charity. By the end of the programme, however, the whole year group will have given back meaningfully to their local community. We currently work in partnership with about 200 schools every year across England and Wales.

The Role
Our facilitators are key to the success of the programme, delivering three inspiring sessions in each school through the course of the programme. They are essentially the ‘face of First Give’, and we rely on them to bring the energy and enthusiasm that makes First Give events special for schools and students.

Assembly
The students’ introduction to the First Give programme, Facilitators ensure a positive start by delivering an engaging and informative assembly to the year group which motivates and inspires students who are about to start their First Give journey.
Presentation Skills Workshop
A two-hour presentation skills workshop which equips presenting students with the skills and confidence that they need to deliver a high standard of presentation at their First Give Final.
This workshop includes running a series of engaging activities to develop the students' presentation skills and confidence. The facilitator then works alongside the students, giving feedback and promoting discussion for how the students could create an even greater impact.
The group size can range from 30-60 students.
First Give Final
A 3 hour event broken into two halves, the Final involves rehearsal time and co-ordinating and hosting the First Give Final, which is a celebration of the social action undertaken by the whole year group.
It is at this event that the judges decide which class wins the £1,000 First Give grant for their chosen charity, and should be a true celebration of the students’ hard work across the year group.
Ensuring that this event is a success from the perspective of students, teachers, judges and all other guests. Finals are usually large-scale events with between 150 - 300 people in the audience, depending on the size of the school.
Pre & post event admin
For the delivery of each session to be complete, facilitators provide prompt and detailed feedback to the First Give central team after each event via the Salesforce CRM system. All facilitators will have a First Give Twitter account for posting about the events they facilitate too.
Person specification
- Experience of working with young people and an understanding of safeguarding
- Passionate about young people and their potential to drive social change; a passion for what First Give does and engaging young people in the social issues affecting their communities
- Experience of working with large groups (c. 30+), preferably secondary age young people, in a secondary school setting
- Very confident leader of workshops and events
