Age UK is recruiting for an Executive Assistant to provide administrative support to 3 senior leaders within the organisation including the Chief Financial Officer, Chief People Officer and Chief Executive Officer of Age International.
This key role will provide support which incorporates diary management, travel arrangements, drafting agendas/reports/PowerPoint presentations, minute taking of meetings and occasional adhoc project support to the 3 stakeholders.
We're looking for a person that is a highly resourceful team-player, who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, while remaining proactive, and efficient.

The purpose of your role
We’re looking for a Recruitment Operations Officer to join our award-winning team to support the operational delivery of the recruitment, selection and onboarding processes for all Police Now programmes, to enable us to achieve our ambitious mission.
You will have oversight of the Recruitment & Marketing department’s governance structures which underpin all our day-to-day delivery; from policies and processes, to reporting infrastructure, planning, implementation and evaluation cycles, and quality assurance and compliance. I am currently recruiting an experiences Recruitment and People & Culture Operations Manager for a renowned business-focused membership organisation, on an initial 6-month fixed term salaried contract (although there is a possibility that this may be extended further down the line or possibly become a permanent position). Key Responsibilities:

Tech Camp Coordination: Lead the planning and execution of Tech Camps, ensuring they are aligned with the Foundation’s mission, run smoothly, and are impactful for participants from underrepresented and vulnerable communities.

Volunteer Management & Engagement: Coordinate with Mindera employees to involve them in volunteering, tapping into their expertise to enhance participants' learning experiences.

Support for Vulnerable Participants: Create an inclusive, safe, and supportive space for all participants, offering guidance and encouragement while adhering to safeguarding protocols and addressing any additional needs they may have.

Logistics & Operations: Oversee all camp logistics, including venue coordination, equipment, scheduling, and travel across the East Midlands, ensuring seamless delivery.

Safeguarding & Compliance: Design, implement, and oversee safeguarding protocols to protect vulnerable participants, volunteers, and staff. Ensure compliance with safety and safeguarding regulations, including training and accreditation in safeguarding vulnerable individuals.

Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary contact for participants, parents, caregivers, and other stakeholders, providing regular updates and maintaining positive relationships.

Promote Diversity & Inclusion: Foster a welcoming environment that champions diversity, equity, and inclusion, ensuring all participants feel valued and respected.

Administrative Support: Manage the administrative aspects of the program, including participant registration, data collection, feedback, and reporting to improve future initiatives.

Ad-hoc Tasks: Support other Foundation activities or projects as needed.
Core Elements:

Experience with Vulnerable & Underrepresented Groups: Proven experience working with underprivileged or underrepresented individuals, particularly in coordinating community or youth programs that support vulnerable groups. Experience with safeguarding vulnerable individuals is essential, and relevant safeguarding training or accreditation is required.

Safeguarding Expertise: Demonstrated ability to create and maintain a safe, compliant environment, with up-to-date safeguarding training and accreditation. Knowledge of safeguarding legislation and experience handling vulnerable participants is critical.

Volunteer Management: Strong organisational skills with experience managing corporate or community volunteers. Ability to engage employees and volunteers in meaningful projects that support the Foundation’s mission.

Effective Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with a wide range of stakeholders, including participants, parents, volunteers, and internal teams.

Technical Interest / Knowledge: Experience or a strong interest in technology, IT, computer science, or related fields. Basic knowledge of programming, robotics, or digital design is a plus.

Problem-Solving & Initiative: Self-starter with the ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and find creative solutions to operational challenges.

The Role
Reporting to the Volunteer Officer, we are looking for a Volunteer Services Coordinator who will be responsible for the recruitment and onboarding of Leeds Hospitals Charity volunteers.
The person will:
- Coordinate the recruitment and onboarding processes for new volunteers, providing personalised support to volunteers at each stage of the process.
- Maintain accurate and compliant records within the Charity’s database.
- Support Charity staff with their management responsibilities, ensuring they have the tools to manage their volunteers safely and effectively.
- Support volunteers with issues and concerns that they may have relating to their volunteering.
- Support with all elements of reward & recognition of volunteers, and coordinate content for the website / publicity / social media.
You will:
- Have a strong administrative background and proficiency in IT packages.
- Have a passion to work with and support volunteers of all ages, backgrounds and abilities.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise with a range of stakeholders, audiences and partners.
- Have excellent time management, planning and prioritisation.

They are seeking a Watercress and Winterbournes Communications Officer to join their cause.
The Watercress and Winterbournes Landscape Partnership is a National Lottery Heritage Funded Scheme that focuses on the headwaters of two of the UK’s most iconic chalk rivers, the Test and the Itchen. This is an area of distinctive chalk stream habitats and winterbournes which supports a rich diversity of wildlife.
However, a wide range of factors threaten the character and quality of this chalk stream landscape. Working with a wide range of organisations and individuals, the scheme focuses on improving the resilience of their chalk streams and celebrating their unique qualities through key partnerships and community action. The scheme has been underway now for 4 years and has 16 months remaining.
This role sits within the Watercress and Winterbournes project team and will work closely with the team and with colleagues from across the Trust and the partnership. The post will be responsible for co-ordinating and delivering the communications for the whole scheme for our planned activities, ensuring that they are using the best methods to reach the required audiences.
The post will also co-ordinate Scheme events and will directly deliver two key people-engagement projects including:
Hidden Treasure Trails – co-ordination of the delivery of animated wildlife trails and associated interpretation.
Septic Smart project – co-ordination of messaging about septic tanks and their impact on chalk streams to targeted communities.
