Shannon Trust are delighted to be working with His Majesty’s Prison & Probation Service (HMPPS) to provide peer-led learning programmes at HMP Isle of Wight. You will be working across both sites, HMP Albany and HMP Parkhurst during your working week.  Working closely with the prison and their staff, people in prison, Shannon Trust volunteers and mentors, this post will lead the delivery and development of our prison-based reading and numeracy programme, maximising opportunities for people in prison to improve their skills.

Ideally you will have some experience of prison settings underpinned by the ability to build relationships and personal qualities that include resilience, determination and a problem-solving approach. 

The role will be prison-based. Emmaus Greenwich is a unique charity that offers a home, work and individual support to people who have experienced homelessness and social exclusion. We don’t just give people a bed for the night; we offer a home, work opportunities and a sense of belonging.

We are looking for a compassionate, highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to provide tailored person-centred support to a caseload of formerly homeless individuals known as “Companions” especially to those who are struggling with substance misuse. The successful candidate will understand that many people with experience of homelessness can also be trying to navigate other complex needs. The purpose of the Project worker is to provide a person-centred support to a caseload of Companions in particular to those who are experiencing difficulty in maintaining their tenancy due to their experiences and relationship with substances, including alcohol.

PURPOSE OF THE POST

The Assistant Director for POPS core business is pivotal to ensuring the efficient, effective and legally compliant management of POPS’ head office functions and organisational infrastructure. We are seeking for somebody to join our team, who is highly motivated, knowledgeable, resilient and analytical, who will play a major role in taking the pressure of day-to-day management of core business functions away from the Director, thereby allowing them to pursue a vital strategic and leadership role necessary for the organisations’ future growth.

The post holder will be responsible for direct line management of POPS’ Finance Manager, HR Manager and Communications Officer, ensuring the respective departments provide effective contributions to support the operation of POPS as an organisation compliant with legislative and legal requirements.

In addition, the post holder will oversee POPS’ outsourced ICT function and manage all matters in relation to the physical maintenance of POPS’ head office building and the management of the tenanted space.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

GENERAL

• Work productively alongside POPS Assistant Director for Operations and Business Development to ensure the success and future growth of the organisation 
• Develop national, regional and local alliances and partnerships to enable POPS to fulfil its Mission and strategic plans
• Seek out the use of innovative business models and systems.
• Work with departmental managers to develop action plans and ensure that appropriate targets are set, monitored and achieved.

The Head of Business Development is a key leadership position within Development Pathways. The successful candidate will have overall responsibility for business development. Tameside SHS is a mental health, 24 hour supported housing and community-based service, working to a recovery model. We provide a range of support services for people with mental ill health to access in their local community, including outreach support, tenancy support, peer support and supported housing. We have been operating in the area for a number of years and offer a staffed service to our residents aged 18 and upwards. Care to join us?

As a Specialist Intervention Coach your challenge will be to monitor, develop and share good practice across staff teams to ensure individuals and teams are better equipped to work with a greater range of challenging support needs.  We’ll also rely on you to provide high quality intensive support using psychotherapeutic intervention and support the staff team in delivering these. Working to deliver the guided intervention model and brief interventions for Waythrough as a requirement of service expectations will be important too. What’s more, when it comes to seeking to maximise a multi-agency approach for complex cases, provide effective leadership in formulating support plans or ensuring data entry to reporting systems is accurate, timely and in line with quality assurance requirements, again we’ll count on you.

You’ll be working closely with a range of professionals to ensure risk assessment, management and safeguarding requirements are effectively planned, assessed responded to and met, so good verbal and written communication skills are essential. You’ll also need a track record of dealing with ‘high risk’ clients and managing resources effectively, as well as experience of carrying out investigations and writing reports and recommendations. The Energy Neighbours Project Coordinator enables all staff and organisations involved in the project to work together effectively. The Coordinator works with the Project Manager to develop effective, safe ways of working that make the best use of resources.

The Coordinator ensures the quality and effectiveness of record keeping, risk management and joined-up planning across the project. They help the team work together on planning work and preparations for forums, conferences and reporting. The opportunity

We are seeking a skilled, experienced, and driven Finance Manager to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the company’s growth and development. You will review our financial procedures and processes and where appropriate recommend and implement change and improvements. You will lead our two-person finance team, part of core services, which provides HR, IT, facilities, and marketing support for the company.

• Delivery of accurate and timely financial information for the company including preparation of monthly reports as required.
• Support the CEO and Executive on strategic development through the provision of performance insights on financial and delivery metrics and management accounts, liaising with external accountants, as appropriate.

Role summary:
The Creative Marketing Strategist will lead the implementation and optimisation of Seen & Unseen’s digital marketing and communications strategy, driving our social media paid and organic efforts, managing agency relationships, and collaborating with internal teams. This role will balance creative vision with data-driven insights, ensuring that content is aligned with strategic objectives and effectively reaches our target audience.

Key responsibilities:

• Project management: Oversee and manage the implementation of Seen & Unseen’s digital marketing and communications strategy, working in close collaboration with our marketing agency and senior leadership team to ensure alignment with CCW’s overarching objectives.
• Strategic marketing input: Provide expert guidance on channel selection, content creation, and paid and organic social media strategies to effectively meet Seen & Unseen’s marketing goals, optimising content across platforms.
• Agency management: Act as the primary contact for our marketing agency, ensuring high-quality, cohesive output. Prepare clear, strategic briefs for creative concepts, media planning, content production, and graphic design that align with strategic goals.
• Performance measurement & KPIs: In collaboration with senior leadership, define key performance indicators (KPIs), track campaign performance, and provide actionable insights. Utilise data and analytics to refine strategies, improve future campaigns, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
• Creative ideation & content creation: Identify opportunities and develop innovative creative concepts that align with Seen & Unseen’s objectives. Create engaging, high-quality digital content for social media as and when required.

Mencap are recruiting for a 2 x Learning Disability Caseworker's (LDC) to give advice and undertake complex casework on Social/Community Care and Health concerns for people with a learning disability, their families, carers, and professionals working with them. The Learning Disability Caseworker role can be based with where you want to work, with some travel to casework venues and our Peterborough office. 

We have a full-time role (37.5 hours) on a fixed term contract until March 2026, and a part time (30 hours) role on a fixed term contract until September 2027.

As an IDVA, you will be able to effectively work with men experiencing domestic abuse, and supporting them to increase their safety and reduce harm. You will be providing high-quality, front-line service to prioritise risk, primarily focusing on males aged 18+.

You will initiate, develop, maintain and monitor multi-agency links through attending meetings such as MARAC and DA (Domestic Abuse) Forums to keep safety central to all services for men suffering/have suffered domestic abuse. You will specialise and be a leading practitioner for Male victims of domestic abuse; providing advice, guidance and single point of contact for male victims. Be willing to co-facilitate workshops across the service to ensure all clients are given the relevant advice in a timely manner.

You will be confident in your DVPO, DAPO, Occupational, restraining and Non-Molestation order knowledge. Be competent in completing the following forms-  DASH (Domestic abuse, Stalking and ‘honour’ based abuse), UPOA (Understanding Picture of abuse), UPOAP (Understanding Picture of a Perpetrator) and safety plans.

Focus on and prioritise high, medium and low risk cases and provide a pro-active, short to medium term crisis intervention service, through individual safety planning, advocacy, emotional and practical support. Work with victims of domestic abuse to assist them in accessing services to keep them and their children safe.

Understand the legal framework relating to the protection of children and vulnerable adults, including the policy and procedures of the Local Safeguarding Children’s Board. Providing advocacy, emotional and practical support and information to victims including exploration of legal and civil options, housing, health and finance.

Support clients through the family and/or criminal justice system.

Maintain accurate and confidential case management records and contribute to monitoring information for the service including producing statistics, as required.

Comply with data protection legislation, confidentiality and information sharing policy and procedures, as well as all legislation connected to your work. Remain up-to-date and comply with organisational procedures, policies and professional codes of conduct - uphold standards of best practice.

This role sits within the Welcome Hackney team. Welcome Hackney supports residents who are currently seeking asylum, have refugee status, or arrived in the borough via the Homes for Ukraine or resettlement schemes. The team also supports migrant residents with no/insecure status who face additional barriers to accessing services.

The purpose of the role will be to set up and manage services which ensure that refugees, migrants and asylum-seeking residents can access the support they need, as well as influencing systems to ensure services are available and accessible. The role will identify any gaps in service provision, working with residents and the voluntary and community sector towards creating a welcoming environment for refugees, migrants and asylum seekers.
