As a key member of our small, dedicated team, you will be instrumental in developing and marketing Icon membership while delivering exceptional customer service. Your role involves proactively engaging with members by processing their applications, managing renewals, addressing inquiries, and performing various administrative tasks.

In addition to member engagement, you will contribute to Icon’s communications and marketing efforts. You will use a blend of digital and analogue media to enhance Icon’s visibility both within the cultural heritage sector and beyond. Your support in executing marketing activities will be crucial in driving our broader growth ambitions.

This role is based at Icon’s office in Farringdon, London. Icon operates a hybrid working policy, which requires staff to be in the office at least two days per week, with the flexibility to work remotely for the remainder.

The post-holder will report directly to the Marketing and Membership Manager.

Specific duties

Membership services

• Processing membership applications.
• Maintaining accurate membership records on the CRM system (Ready Membership).
• Responding to enquiries from prospective members, existing members, colleagues and the general public within agreed customer service timeframes.

Data management

• Effectively use data analytics to understand impact and success rates and deliver informative regular reporting against agreed KPIs.

Content and communications

• Working collaboratively with the wider Icon Team to develop the annual communications plan in line with the annual operational plan.
• Developing, commissioning and delivering the production of content for Icon’s website and Social Media channels in line with communications plan.
• Maintaining and updating Icon’s website in line with analytics data and communications plan.
• Developing and issuing Icon’s monthly internal and external email newsletters.

Marketing

• Contributing to the implementation of Icon’s Membership Growth Strategy by assisting with the development of recruitment campaigns.
• Supporting the implementation of marketing plans and promotional ideas.
• Supporting the development of Icon’s Social Media strategy and contribute to Icon’s Email Marketing strategy by utilising external newsletters to support broader advocacy work and marketing lead generation.
• Coordinating Icon’s presence at partner and sector events, including the design and production of marketing collateral, ensuring a visible presence and effective contribution is achieved.

Other

• Support Icon’s 28 special interest groups, including responding to queries and administering and promoting group events.
• Actively contributing to the development of marketing and communication initiatives relating to wider activity within Icon.

Praxis has recently significantly scaled up its campaigns and communications work. We are looking for a new Stories and Media Coordinator to join our Fundraising and Communications team, to help ensure that people with lived experience of the immigration system are the driving force of our dynamic communications work, whilst also building the organisation’s profile and amplifying our systems-change work.

You will play an integral role in the Fundraising and Communications team in an ambitious organisation.

About the Role

We are recruiting a Standards Officer to join our small and friendly Standards team.

The role of the Standards function is to monitor newspaper, magazine and digital publishers’ compliance with the Editors’ Code of Practice and to take action to address concerns about editorial standards, including by undertaking investigations into serious standards failures as necessary. It’s a busy team that coordinates closely with others at IPSO and outside the organisation, engaging with members of the public, journalists, and experts on a wide variety of subjects. Some recent issues that the standards team has worked on are reporting of sexual offences, suicide, major incidents, and domestic abuse.

As the Standards Officer, you will carry out a range of tasks, including analysing information drawn from complaints received by IPSO, supporting the annual statements process and engaging with a range of representative groups who have concerns about press reporting. You will work closely with the Head of Standards and other colleagues across IPSO.

This is a role for someone who is interested in news and journalism, has excellent communication and analytical skills, and enjoys working with others to achieve a shared purpose. Candidates who demonstrate relevant experience will be given an opportunity to demonstrate their skills through a written exercise prior to short-listing for interview. The role plays a key role in developing and delivering our media & communication strategy both internal and external, supporting the Head of Media & Communications. This pivotal role will address a significant gap in the protection and welfare of animals used in entertainment and media. Tens of thousands of animals are featured in films, television shows, advertisements, often facing substandard treatment and welfare conditions. Despite public concern, current legal and industry safeguards remain inadequate. 

The creation of this new role within the RSPCA, is not only vital for addressing current deficiencies in animal welfare within the entertainment industry but also reinforces the RSPCA's commitment to leading positive change. 

This role will drive forward critical initiatives, ensuring that the welfare needs of animals are prioritised and protected, reflecting the values and expectations of society.

As our Senior Scientific and Policy Officer - Animals in Entertainment & the Media, you will develop and implement a strategic plan to raise industry standards, improve legal protection, and shift public attitudes to improve the welfare of animals used in these industries.

The role is situated in the RSPCA's Wildlife Department but the scope of the work includes all animals, including companion animals, so you will work collaboratively across several departments.

• Generate and maintain RSPCA policies, strategic aims, goals and objectives relating to animals in entertainment and the media.
• Develop and implement a strategic influencing plan to improve industry standards, legal protection, and public attitudes towards animals in entertainment and the media
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders, including those in the entertainment industry, animal welfare organisations, and regulatory bodies, and represent the RSPCA in advocacy coalitions to achieve the RSPCA's goals and objectives.

Chance to Shine is an independent children’s charity. We change young people’s lives through cricket giving them the opportunity to play, learn and develop through the sport. Since 2005 our Chance to Shine Schools programme has helped reverse the decline of cricket in state schools with millions of boys and girls in over 13,000 state schools playing and learning through cricket. Purpose of the Role

A key part of Chance to Shine’s Communications department, this role will have help to drive awareness of the charity – communicating our mission, vision and messages to key audiences.

Principal Responsibilities

The Communications Officer will support include the following areas:

• To offer support on a range of diverse projects and events to increase the profile and awareness of Chance to Shine
• To help with the planning, execution and analysis of communications and marketing campaigns throughout the year
• To help manage the Chance to Shine brand internally and externally – including both written and visual brand guidelines

Purpose 

We’re looking for someone who wants to combine their passion for social change with their commitment to digital communications. The person in this role will line manage a small and talented team of two officers (Marketing and Content, and Digital Communications), and should enjoy supporting others to flourish through a kind and relational approach. 

Part of a busy department of specialists in communications (including digital and press), public affairs and policy, you will play a critical role in shaping our digital engagement strategy through our website, social media channels and email marketing. As well as leading the team to expand our reach and build brand awareness through creative content, you will also have a keen eye for analytics and work with our partner agencies to deliver effective campaigns across paid social media ads, Google Ads and CMS management.

Reporting to the Director of Communications, you will play an integral role in shaping the digital strategy, while ensuring that colleagues develop their capacity and understanding of how to use digital tools most effectively.

Main Responsibilities 

Working as the Digital Engagement Manager for Citizens UK, reporting to the Director of Communications, your main responsibilities will include: 

Situational Awareness and Research 

• Lead the team in conducting stakeholder analysis; identifying and segmenting audiences and their positions and interests.

• Able to lead the team in the use of social media to increase brand awareness and impact; able to generate innovative approaches.

• Work with developers to maintain and update website CMS, support the team in creating news and blog content and help upskill colleagues to create content for the website. 

External Relationships  

• Manage relationships and communication with external suppliers where required 

Campaign and Events Management 

• Take an integrated communications approach to digital engagement activity. 

• Identify opportunities, initiate and grow new campaign tactics. 

• Establish systems for monitoring and evaluating key performance indicators and delivering to time and budget. 

Internal Comms & Knowledge Management 

• Identify gaps in our internal knowledge management in digital practices and strengthen these with clear processes and documents to drive best practice amongst wider team. 

• Adopt a strong solution focused approach to help teams overcome any challenges and maximise their digital engagement efforts  

• Provide training to key members of staff to upskill colleagues. 

• Act as a brand ambassador for the whole organisation. 

Internal Relationships

Acting as the spokesperson for the Together Trust and the people it supports on policy issues you will be responsible for the following:

• Managing and developing the Together Trust’s policy and campaigns strategy in line with the Trust’s strategic long-term plan.
• Leading on the development of policy priorities with staff and the people we support. Working with them to develop a Theory of Change for the Together Trust. Working directly with the Trust Directors, Trustees and external agencies.
• Representing the Together Trust at meetings with MPs, Councillors, parliamentary groups, select committees to help drive forward Together Trust’s policy and campaigns work.
• Improving the Together Trust’s visibility in UK Parliament by attending sessions, submitting evidence and nurturing networks.
• Reporting on policy, campaigns and participation activities to the Supporting People sub-group, providing updates on activity and progress against key milestones.

Reporting to the Strategic Director for External Affairs, this is a pivotal role which will tell NCB’s story and the difference we make from the playground to parliament, analysing, influencing and ultimately changing the complex systems on which children and families rely. The postholder will position NCB across the sector as a trusted convener, a catalyst for change and a champion of children and families.

The post is part of the NCB Enhanced Strategic Leadership Team and is accountable for harnessing NCB’s specialisms within a broad understanding of children’s lives, providing high level policy and political analysis.
