More about the role: You will plan and deliver engaging sessions, creating opportunities for young people to develop new skills and build confidence. Depending on your experience and interests, you could lead activities such as farm maintenance, cooking, horse work, or creative projects. In addition, you’ll contribute to the wider life of the farm, supporting feeding rounds, meal preparation, and other daily routines. You will collaborate closely with the Bath team to ensure the smooth delivery of each visit, helping to create a safe and supportive environment for all.

You may have experience in therapeutic, educational, or practical settings and you are confident in leading sessions and sharing your skills and experience. More about the role: As Visit Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating up to four visits a month, leading activities such as woodwork, gardening and horse care, and contributing to daily farm activities like walks, mealtimes, and evening programmes. You will serve as the primary group leader for designated weeks, managing pre-visit coordination, on-site engagement, and follow-up support ensuring a smooth experience for the schools and young people involved.
You will also complete administrative tasks, including documentation and progress tracking, and collaborate with visiting staff to ensure they maximise the impact of their Jamie’s Farm experience.
About you: We are looking for an organised, motivated, and friendly individual who may have experience in social work, therapeutic, or educational settings. You will excel at building relationships with diverse individuals and organisations, and your communication and teamwork abilities will be essential to the success of each visit. We are committed to ending the homelessness of more people using our direct services, including people with complex needs. To do this, we are seeking either full-time or part-time Practitioner Psychologists to join our fantastic team in locations around the UK.
Crisis Skylight Birmingham has been established in the city since 2010, delivering trauma informed services to our members, all underpinned by our commitment to Psychologically Informed Environments. Crisis Skylight Birmingham is focused on finding sustainable ways to end homelessness for our members, working to housing led principles starting with securing decent homes. Staff work with members to navigate the systems and processes in place so that members can access the services and support they need, and that they have a right to benefit from. We support members in several areas, to help members find suitable accommodation and build up the skills and resources they need to ensure they can sustain their tenancy.
You will form part of the local Leadership team, supporting the implementation of Psychologically Informed Environments (PIEs). You will support the delivery of our work to members by offering training and leading reflective practice for staff and providing direct services to members at times.
You will also be a part of a national psychology team made up of a Lead Clinical Psychologist, two Regional Lead Clinical Psychologists, and seven Practitioner Psychologists as well as one Assistant Psychologist and Trainee Clinical Psychologists on placements.

ABOUT THE PRACTITIONER PSYCHOLOGIST ROLE
Are you a dedicated and experienced Registered or Practitioner Psychologist with a strong background in forensic and clinical psychology? We are seeking a passionate individual to become an integral part of our clinical team at our specialist service in Croydon.
In this creative, evolving, and impactful position—less standalone, mainly advisory, and with more staff-focused work than client-based—you will work within a 27-bed residential facility dedicated to individuals with forensic mental health needs, complex conditions, and dual diagnoses. You will work closely with, and be clinically accountable to our Group Psychological Lead, whilst reporting into the Head of Service.
As a Practitioner Psychologist, your expertise will drive the delivery of evidence-based psychological assessments and interventions aimed at the rehabilitation and reintegration of our residents. You will play a crucial consulting role to support staff and managers, offering guidance and expertise to foster a psychologically informed and supportive environment. This includes advising on best practices, providing clinical supervision, and enhancing the overall capability of the staff team to deliver high-quality care. Your contributions will help shape the strategic direction of the service and ensure that staff are equipped to meet the complex needs of residents effectively.
Penrose Croydon: Our Croydon facility offers a psychologically informed environment across four distinct sites, providing medium and low-support forensic mental health services to men and women. The job holder will work across different sites in the South London area, offering flexibility and the opportunity to engage with a variety of services and residents in need of support.
Shift Pattern: 22.5 hours per week, with flexible scheduling based on service needs. There may be opportunities for remote work, depending on service requirements.
Salary: £55,000 (Full Time Equivalent)

The Educational Mental Health Practitioner (EMHP) programme is a one-year postgraduate diploma course and is part of the Children and Young People’s Mental Health Psychological Training Programmes (formerly CYP IAPT). The programme trains graduate entry mental health practitioners to work in educational settings offering help for common difficulties in children and young people including anxiety, low mood and behavioural difficulties, primarily with a focus on CBT-informed evidence-based guided self-help interventions. The programme is a key part of the Green Paper proposals to establish mental health workers in schools to increase the workforce set out by the government in 2025.
In collaboration with University College London (UCL) as the degree awarding body, Anna Freud is recruiting a Course Tutor to support the delivery of the EMHP Programme.
The Course Tutor will lead and be responsible for teaching a significant proportion of three of the programme’s six modules in compliance with relevant University regulations. These will include topics such as low intensity guided self-help cognitive behaviour therapy (GSH CBT) for anxiety and low mood in young people, parenting interventions for challenging behaviour and, depending on experience,
teaching on delivering group interventions and psychoeducation workshops in school settings as well as whole school approaches to emotional wellbeing.
The ideal candidate will have a recognised qualification in a core mental health profession of Clinical Psychology, Child Psychotherapy, Family Therapy or Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and/ or have specific training in CBT. The post-holder will also need to have experience working with children, young people, and families with psychological/emotional difficulties in a mental health service and/ or educational setting.
Location
Hybrid (a mixture of home/onsite working), the delivery of teaching and Practice Tutor Groups facilitation by the post-holder is almost all face-to-face. For face-to-face work, the post-holder will be required to attend in person at our London office (4-8 Rodney Street, London N1 9JH).

INFORMTION ABOUT THE ROLE
The post holder will support Children and Young People who have been affected by Domestic Violence, by offering therapeutically informed interventions for CYP as part of the clinically informed youth work workforce of The Children's Society.
The role requires the post holder to develop relationships with a number of professionals across organisations and other service providers to enhance the emotional, mental health and wellbeing offer with the aim to increase personal resilience, and empower them to manage their own mental health.
Experience
-Prior experience of working with children and young people presenting with emotional, behavioural and/or mental health difficulties.
-Prior experience of supporting children and young people who have been victims of Domestic Violence and Abuse.
-Able to demonstrate effective use of clinical measures and outcomes.
-Ability to manage own case load and effective time management.
-Demonstrates high standards in written communication, with the ability to write clear concise reports.
Qualifications
-Extensive experience in working with children and young people in a similar setting, delivering structured interventions.
-Relevant professional qualification such as Social Work, Diploma in Counselling or Psychotherapy, Psychology, Youth Work or Nursing and or significant relevant experience.
-The post holder will be required to hold a full driving license and have use of a car for The Children's Society business.

Role Description

Administer EMDR events and consultants training, ensuring smooth execution and participant satisfaction

Organise and be the administrative point-person for CPD events and workshops, both online and in-person where necessary

Coordinate with regional and special interest groups to organise and promote events

Provide administrative support for membership-related tasks

Develop an understanding of the accreditation process and support the Accreditation Admin Assistant where needed
