The Postgraduate Diploma in Children and Young People’s (CYP) Psychological Trainings: Therapy is one of the national CYP Mental Health (CYPMH) workforce development programmes, funded by NHS England. This stems from an established programme with an existing team that has run successfully since 2011 when the CYP-IAPT initiative was first introduced and a service transformation programme began, aimed at improving existing CYPMH services.
The Programme Director will lead on the management and operational delivery of the programme, which includes delivering and developing the programme in line with the NHS England National Curriculum, whilst also ensuring it is in compliance with evolving University College London (UCL) academic governance and quality assurance and enhancement frameworks. Our Postgraduate Studies (PGS) department is made up of several other Programme Directors, Deputy Programme Directors, teaching staff and operational support staff, who all contribute in fostering a supportive and collaborative working environment and excellent student experience.
We are seeking a mental health professional with experience of curriculum design, assessment and programme organisation within an Higher Education context. You will demonstrate experience of working in CYPMH services, leadership skills, and the ability to work cross-culturally in relation to clinical practice. A commitment to delivering high-quality standards in teaching and assessment, and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment for trainees to enhance student experience is significant for this role. Purpose of the Job
Hammersmith and Fulham, Ealing and Hounslow (HFEH) Mind have an exciting opportunity to be part of an innovative and developing service supporting the mental health of children and young people. Working closely with schools in the borough of Hammersmith and Fulham, you will supervise and support a diverse staff team to deliver a large NHS contract. Your role will be to provide supervision and line management to staff, as well as delivering group and 1:1 interventions in schools.
Key Responsibilities
Supervisory, clinical and line management
- Supervise and line manage a team of mental health professionals and trainees based in schools.
- Work closely with the MHST Service Manager and Clinical Lead to ensure that the provision is high quality, clinically safe and reflects best practice.
- Ensure that the KPIs and objectives of the MHST, and individual objectives, are met by your team.
- Audit cases for quality and safeguarding purposes.
- Be the Duty Manager on a shared rota basis (up to 2 days per week).
- Assess and monitor risk and draw up appropriate risk management plans. Develop your team to understand and manage appropriate levels of risk.
- Participate and deliver reflective practice sessions and provide training to the team.
- Supporting building on the existing programme and expanding the service into new schools using learning so far.
- Provide support for SMHPs and others in using CYP-MH compliant routine outcome measures.
- Use IAPTUS and HR based databases for effective case recording and management recording (e.g. 1:1s, probation reviews, annual appraisals).
- Understand and advise on safeguarding/clinical risk issues that may arise, following both organisational and school policies and procedures.
- Support staff to deliver tailored, appropriate services to a diverse range of children and families.
- Oversee the development of new resources (e.g.) to support young people who have disengaged from school, or have additional needs.
- Participate in your own clinical supervision and line management, keep up to date with relevant policies and procedures and attend relevant training and CPD opportunities. Meet the requirements of your own professional body.
Delivery to School-aged Children and Young People and families
- Develop and deliver high quality interventions with children and young people that reflect the population of Hammersmith and Fulham, and adapt to meet individual needs.
- Support children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties and their families in the self-management of presenting difficulties.
- Work in partnership with families to provide culturally appropriate psychological interventions.
- Hold a caseload, including more complex cases. Make referrals to appropriate agencies (e.g. CAMHS).
- Develop and help deliver workshops, groups and individual interventions for children and young people in schools, utilising CBT principles.
- Work with the Whole School Approach Lead and Clinical Lead to identify training and support needs for school staff and/or parents.
You will be:
- Appropriately qualified and registered professional e.g. clinical or educational psychologist, systemic family therapist, psychotherapist, CBT therapist, Nurse or social worker with CYP MH experience.
- Evidence of continuing professional development as required by the HCPC/UKCP/NMC//BACP/BPS/Social work England.
- A minimum of three years’ experience as a Child and Young Person’s Mental Health professional which can include providing clinical, therapeutic, or consultative practice, or equivalent.
- At least one year’s experience of supervising practitioners.
- Some line management experience.
- A range of therapeutic skills and experience including CBT and group work and recent practice of using CBT-informed approaches.

The Postgraduate Certificate (Pg Cert) in Supervision is a one-year programme for clinicians and managers working in services committed to delivering transformation and change in CYP Mental Health and Wellbeing Services. ABOUT THE JOB
Job Purpose
We’re looking for an exemplary administrative and people-oriented person who will be administratively supporting the two Faculty Leads: the Director of Psychotherapy and the Director of Counselling. An important role in the organisation with responsibilities towards the Leadership Team.

Main areas of work and responsibility
- Academic and Personal Administration Support to the Faculty Directors of Psychotherapy and Counselling
- Coordinate and support projects and workstreams the Directors Lead on: including overseeing and managing the Counselling and Psychotherapy programmes and faculties, quality assurance and reporting to accrediting bodies and Gestalt Centre membership and accreditation.
- Provide administrative support and coordination of the Gestalt Centre membership and membership cycles. Including UKCP reaccreditation processes: coordinate membership renewals and reaccreditation processes from beginning to end, liaise with members, maintain systems and update the membership Directory. In association with the Director of Psychotherapy and the Director of Counselling
- This role resides in the wider course\academic admin team and as/when directed is expected to support/liaise with the admissions and registration team.
- Organise, co-ordinate and provide administrative support for meetings with faculty, Gestalt Centre colleagues, UKCP, BACP, the university and exam Boards, and other external meetings as required in relation to the academic, membership or regulatory functions of GC. In association with the Director of Psychotherapy and the Director of Counselling
- Prepare meetings set up, information and any required papers in advance. Organise dates, taking and sending out minutes and coordinate follow-up actions ensuring progress and completion.
- Prepare, format, edit and update communications, presentations and reports for internal and external audiences to a high standard – including for meetings with the Faculties, the Executive, UKCP, BACP or the university.
- Work closely with both Directors on the production and content of the various Professional Training Programme Handbooks, including managing version control and ensuring accurate information within and to time.
- Provide a professional first and secondary point of contact and as and when required liaise with the Directors to respond to emails or phone calls and other communications, including the preparation of acknowledgement responses and follow-on actions.

ABOUT THE JOB
Job Purpose
We are looking for a passionate and driven individual to join our tight knit team and make a real impact. A key member of the finance team, working closely with and supporting the Finance Manager, in a welcoming and supportive environment with opportunities to learn and grow on the job.
The role offers the chance to work across several finance functions, including management accounting, supporting year end audit, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable and so it provides a great opportunity to experience the full breadth of finance work in a charity across all functions in a varied and interesting role.
Key Responsibilities
Day-to-day finance processes
- Assume responsibility for managing the finance inbox; answering queries from colleagues; students, commercial customers, and suppliers.
- Ensure supporting information for transactions is correctly stored in electronic format on Teams such as bank statements, remittance advices, credit statements.
- Assist the operations and administration teams as and when required, including with the preparation of internal reports.
- Other ad hoc support to the finance team as may be required including administrative duties.
Accounts Receivable
- Ensure that all income from a variety of different sources is correctly and accurately recorded in the finance system on a weekly basis.
- Income and customer account reconciliations and revaluations.
- Any other responsibilities relating to Accounts Receivable.
Accounts Payable process
- Work with the bookkeeper to ensure accurate and timely recording of all approved supplier invoices, requisitions, staff expenses and other expenditure in the accounting system and that all supporting documentation for all transactions are uploaded.
- Whilst the bookkeeper is responsible for making all payments, the Assistant Finance Manager has a key role in liaising with the bookkeeper and the Finance Manager, to jointly ensure that all invoices are paid on time.
- Providing cover and setting up payments when the Finance Manager is not available.
- Determine most efficient payment platform to process international payments and ensure these are recorded in the finance system at the correct conversion rate.
- Work closely with the bookkeeper to ensure accurate and timely recording of all approved supplier invoices, requisitions, staff expenses and other expenditure and that all supporting documentation for all transactions are uploaded.
- Carry out monthly Creditor account reconciliations ensuring that all balances are valid and backed up with appropriate supporting documentation.
- Assist with the set up all payroll payments in time for the monthly pay day. This involves ensuring correct amount (which may differ from the salary of the individual’s employment contract) and method of payment across all HQ staff.
Budgeting, management accounting and forecasting
- Assist the Finance Manager and CEO with the preparation of the annual budget, quarterly management accounts and forecast.
Year End Audit
- Assist the Finance Manager with answering queries form auditors and completing balance sheet reconciliations.
Systems and Processes
At the Gestalt Centre we’re in the process of updating and embedding new systems and processes and this role will assist that work. For example, we have recently implemented new educational management and room booking systems and this role will be involved in supporting the integration of the finance and education management software.

Education / Qualifications
Essential:
- 5 GCSE at Grade C or above including English and Maths.
- Post-GCSE qualification such as A-Level or T-level or Degree educated.
- AAT qualified, or part qualified CIMA/ACCA accountancy qualification.
Experience and Knowledge

- Sound understanding of double entry book-keeping including month end adjustments.
- IT Literate with strong Excel skills.

The Child Wellbeing Practitioner (CWP) Programme is part of this nationally funded programme and aims to train a workforce of new practitioners that offer help for common difficulties in children and young people, in particular CBT-informed evidence-based guided self-help for low to moderate intensity anxiety, low mood and behaviour problems, within a variety of community settings. In collaboration with University College London (UCL) as the degree awarding body, Anna Freud is recruiting to support the delivery of the course.
The Course Tutors will have responsibility for the development and delivery of one or two modules, ensuring all material concerning the module is up to date. The post-holders will also contribute to teaching sessions, and undertake marking and moderating of course assignments, personal tutoring and make other similar contributions to support the delivery of the programme.
We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic candidates with experience in child and adolescent mental health, alongside knowledge and experience of implementing CBT-informed interventions for low to moderate intensity anxiety, low mood and behaviour problems and experience in small group facilitation.
Location
Hybrid (a mixture of home/onsite working): staff are working onsite for at least 20% of their working hours at our London site (4-8 Rodney Street, London N1 9JH.

This role is being advertised for a six month period, to undertake specific activities and research related to the psychological treatment of collective violence.
Key Primary tasks of the role:
● Work closely with the Clinical Lead and TTI’s clinical team and specialist clinical associates to create, gather and analyse data and write up the findings for service evaluations, presentations, project proposals and training purposes
● Use these findings to create accessible resources and materials to support professionals in the human rights field
● Review our online resources hub on our website
● Offer facilitation of group activities supporting people who have survived collective violence
● Co-facilitate initial assessments and co-creating psychological formulations, treatment plans and safety plans (where risk is identified) alongside the Clinical Lead/ Treatment Services Manager
● Support trauma-informed organisational assessments, undertaking interviews, co-facilitating group discussions and assisting in writing up reports in partnership with the Clinical Lead/ Treatment Services Manager and other HCPC Registered Practitioner Psychologists working as Associates for TT-I.
● Shadowing of clinical interventions of interest, as and where this is possible to facilitate
● Support the clinical team to deliver a range of interventions and projects as required and as per TTI’s Annual Work Plan.
Key Requirements of the role:
In carrying out their duties and working within the team, you will need to:
● demonstrate a commitment to evidence based psychological care, and be motivated to undertake basic psychological assessments under the supervision of a HCPC Registered Practitioner Psychologist
● engage with clients (who have survived experiences of collective violence) sensitively and professionally to gather data, analyse this data and translate it both for academic audiences and for pragmatic use by people working in the field
● work independently according to a plan agreed with the Clinical Lead and within the overall framework of TT-I’s policies and procedures
● present complex and sensitive material in a trauma-informed way to a range of audiences, where there may be communication barriers to consider and overcome
Essential qualifications and experience includes:
● BSc in Psychology
● Post graduate qualification (e.g. Masters level) in relevant areas of professional psychology
● An understanding of relevant clinical practice/standards (e.g. BPS/ HCPC)

The Training Officer (Accreditation) is critical to the work of the College, as you will provide services to both trainees and Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration (CESR)/portfolio applicants, supporting them in completing their training programmes and specialist registration.
As Training Officer (Accreditation), you will develop a thorough understanding of the RCEM Curriculum and CESR processes, ensuring that all trainees and applicants receive high-quality support and advice in line with continuous developments and changes to College standards and GMC regulation. This is an important role for the College as you will contribute to the efficient regulation and support of specialist training in Emergency Medicine.
Responsible for facilitating and processing Certification for the Completion of Training (CCT), Specialist Registration and CESR applications, including formal notifications to the GMC and coordination of CESR panel reviews, you will provide documentation for GMC CCT Quality Assurance audits and maintain detailed records relating to the CESR process.
Reporting to the Training Manager, you will lead on the recruitment, induction, training and monitoring of CESR evaluators, developing strong working relationships with key stakeholders, including consultants, trainee doctors, Health Education regions, deaneries and lay members.
Degree qualified or with equivalent experience, you should have an extensive background in administering training programmes and complex processes, and have a strong understanding of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software packages. You should also be capable of collating and analysing complex data and be able to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for change.
With excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills, you will be at ease drafting correspondence, reports, spreadsheets and other documents, ensuring accuracy and clear presentation.

Events Assistant

The Events Assistant[CF1] is a crucial role at the College as you will help and support colleagues in the delivery of events, from administrative assistance in planning the events, to the production of event documentation, branding or collateral, in addition to liaising with events stakeholders, including speakers, programme leads and delegates.
As Events Assistant, you will provide comprehensive administrative support for online event registration, delegate bookings, delegate communications and associated queries. You will be the first point of contact for event queries, so maintaining a good knowledge of College events and other relevant activities is essential.
Assisting in the research and promotion of opportunities for sponsorship for all events, you will distribute sponsorship packages, confirm sponsorship acquisitions and ensure requirements are fulfilled onsite. You will also produce proposals for assigned events, including timelines, venues, suppliers, draft budgets and staffing requirements.
