As Digital Content Manager, you will play a crucial role in promoting, enabling, and supporting the digital ambitions of Alzheimer’s Research UK (ARUK), bringing our brand and purpose to life for our online supporters and audiences. You will take charge of our web content, structure and user experience, working with and advising teams across the charity. You will also be required to work closely with our partner agencies, helping to deliver our ongoing strategic web projects.
The role reports to the Head of Digital, with direct line management responsibilities of a Website Development Officer. A Digital Analytics Officer also sits within this team.
This is a 12-month fixed term contract, or on return of the substantive post holder, to cover a period of maternity leave.
Main duties and responsibilities of the role:
· Ongoing development and implementation of ARUK’s web content strategy, including microsites and apps, where appropriate.
· Working with teams across ARUK to ensure content is up to date and meets Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) / Accessibility standards.
· Play a leading role in the creation of campaign landing pages, working closely with the Digital Campaigns Manager to ensure that landing pages are effective, with clear calls to action.
· Review and develop user journeys on the website.
· Using data insights to inform website design and content.
· Identify and prioritise key web development activities for the Web Development Officer and Analytics Officer.
· Ongoing review and optimisation of pages on the website.
· Review and recommend changes to the website information architecture, through internal consultation, workshops, data analysis and user research.
· Ensure that digital content is visually appealing, on-brand and functional.
· Help to drive continuous improvement on digital platforms and keep the charity at the forefront of developments in digital marketing.
· Help to edit and upload content to the website, as required.
· Team management and development, working alongside the Head of Digital and Director to inspire and motivate team members to fulfil their potential.
What we are looking for:
· Previous experience within a similar website management role.
· Demonstrable web development and digital content experience.
· A strong grasp of SEO principles.
· Experience using a website content management system.
· Strong Google Analytics and AdWords experience, with an appreciation for how those help to inform web content.
· Demonstrable project planning, management and delivery experience.
· Copy writing skills, with a flair for writing copy that is suitable for digital consumption.
· A confident communicator who is comfortable attending and leading meetings and workshops.
· Strong organisational skills, able to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, as well as the ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and prioritise.
· A strong collaborator.
· Confident in reviewing website Information and Architecture and managing changes to website structure.
· An enthusiasm for demonstrating the potential of digital content.
· A creative and innovative approach.
· Ideas-driven and solutions orientated.
Additional Information:
Ways of working: As part of our Agile ways of working you will be required to work approximately 2 days a week from the office, which is subject to the requirements of the role and the business needs. Flexibility on where you work can be split between working from home and our office.
Roles that are classed as part of the Agile ways of working are not able to claim any costs for Mileage/Travel on Public Transport, Accommodation and/or Meals. This includes when attending the office for various meetings/events.

Key Tasks
- Recruit and maintain a network of volunteer mentors, in collaboration with the wider Mentoring and Arts Emergency team
- Organise mentor training events and carry out necessary safeguarding measures, including enhanced checks with the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) for volunteers
- Promote the mentoring programme with schools, colleges, and other referral partners
- Manage existing relationships and develop new ones with schools, colleges, and other referral partners
- Manage application and onboarding processes effectively
- Ensure the best possible mentor matches for young people and provide high-quality support throughout their mentoring relationship
- Monitor the programme and share updates proactively with the Mentoring Manager, including reviewing and responding to mentor reports
- Curate monthly newsletters, sharing opportunities with Merseyside-based mentees
The role can be home or office based, or hybrid. Arts Emergency’s head office is in London and Manchester. We also have access to Spaces offices around the country which can be used by all staff if an office space is needed outside these areas - including a co-working space off Wood Street in Liverpool city centre. Regular travel across Merseyside is essential as part of programme delivery.

About the role
As Campaigns Manager for Communities, you will ensure that our campaigners around the UK have a meaningful experience with Save the Children UK, building localised campaigns and networks for realising children's rights. About us
Crisis is the national charity for homeless people. We know that homelessness is not inevitable. We know that together we can end it.
Crisis Skylight Oxford is in the Old Fire Station in the centre of the city. It offers one to one coaching support from a team of coaches who can work with people around their housing needs and anything else that will support them to end their homelessness such as mental health and well-being, finances or finding employment. Alongside the coaching we offer practical, creative, and vocational workshops and accredited learning opportunities. The Old Fire Station building also accommodates a range of flexible arts spaces which are run by an independent arts company.
Salary: £29,505 per annum
Contract: 5-month fixed term contract – September 2024 to January 2025
Hours: 21 hours per week, required to be worked over three or four days. To include mornings. Service opening hours are 9am-5pm Monday to Friday.

About SOS+
Working with young people in a variety of educational settings, St. Giles’ SOS+ Service delivers early intervention work, through one-to-one mentoring and preventative sessions on violence, vulnerability and exploitation. The mission of SOS+ is to prevent children and young people becoming involved in gangs and youth violence by equipping them with tools, knowledge and support delivered by experts with lived experience.
About this key role
Our successful candidate will assess referred clients, with reference to St Giles Trust assessment practices, offering support to up to 20 young people per year, who are identified by local partners as most at need of support. You will produce support and risk management plans based on these assessments, plus deliver a holistic support service, working independently or with colleagues as the situation dictates, which will involve providing practical guidance on areas such social and housing support, education, training and employment options, and benefits work.
We will count on you to develop and maintain strong relationships with referral and partner agencies, including police, Youth Offending Teams, Probation, local authorities and social services, while closing cases efficiently and positively, identifying a survival plan for the client that will identify agencies that can be used for on-going support is also a key aspect of this role.
What we are looking for
- To have worked on an offender-led support project, had personal experience of the criminal justice system, served a prison sentence, or still be serving a prison sentence in a prison within reach of Greater Manchester
- Experience in negotiation with partner agencies to establish links to further aims of the project
- Experience of engaging successfully with challenging people
- To have a relevant qualification to a good standard or be working towards one
- Knowledge of the local community, its projects and services available to young people
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- A flexible, collaborative and professional approach to your work.

We are currently looking for a Communications and Engagement Business Manager to join the Foundation on a 12 month fixed term contract.
The Communications and Engagement Business Manager is there to provide project and business management support to enable the Communications and Engagement leadership team to focus on progressing the work of the business area and leading the wider team. The post holder will be fully involved in all aspects of the day-to-day management of their designated service, including line managing the relevant front-line staff. Location: The post will be based primarily at Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) Woolwich. However, all Redthread team members must be flexible about supporting other sites when needed.
