Our focus and expertise is in providing evidence-based psychological treatment and support to victims of collective violence around the world. As well as providing treatment for victims directly, we also support organisations that are trauma-exposed through their work to uphold human rights, in order to mitigate the impact of trauma in the workforce.

KEY SUMMARY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Clinical Supervision
● Oversee all services involving individual clinical work (treatment) for TTI in line with the delivery of TTI’s overarching operations, projects and priorities.
● Be responsible for recruitment, line management and clinical supervision of clinical staff and associate and associated management responsibilities
● Contribute to the development of TTI’s strategic vision and annual delivery planning, models of service delivery, standards and clinical governance.
● Input into key organisational policies and procedures
Supervision and Team Development
● Promote clinical and counselling psychology/ trauma treatment as a career
● Develop and implement strategies to actively promote diversity in the clinical team and champion culturally sensitive approaches to trauma treatment through research, partnerships and new projects.
● Identify opportunities to develop Quality Improvement Projects.
● Oversee performance management and CPD opportunity development of direct reports
Operational Delivery
● Hold an individual caseload at all times.
● Review and maintain quality assurance of clinical services, providing data for monitoring, evaluation and learning and reporting processes.
● Ensure a partnership approach to clinical practice.
● Deliver robust service agreements with client organisations and referral partners
Key Required Experience:
● HCPC registered psychologist who has completed Post Graduate doctoral level training in counselling or clinical psychology.
● Minimum 5 years post registration experience working within mental health services.
● Up to date knowledge and experience of working with clients with PTSD, complex PTSD, dissociative symptoms, anxiety and / or depression.

About James’ Place
James’ Place Charity was set up by Clare Milford Haven and Nick Wentworth-Stanley in 2008 after their twenty-one-year-old son, James, died by suicide ten days after a minor operation. James had no history of mental illness or depression and had sought urgent help for anxiety and suicidal thoughts, but didn’t find it.
James' Place was set up to make the experience of finding help as easy as possible. James’ Place offers men who are experiencing a suicidal crisis a brief, intensive, therapeutic intervention in a safe environment. Men who walk through the door at James’ Place will be in a space where they feel valued and respected.
The first James’ Place opened in June 2018 in Liverpool, the first of its kind in the UK, and has to date supported more than 2,300 men experiencing suicidal crisis through our innovative and safe therapeutic intervention. We provide a calm and peaceful environment both inside the centre and in our landscaped garden, accessible to men who visit us as well as their friends and families.
In 2022 we opened a new centre in London and in early in 2023 we launched an appeal to raise over £10m to fund three more centres across the country. Our third centre opened in Newcastle at the beginning of 2024, and we are currently raising funds to open a James’ Place in Brimingham.
The Fundraising and Communications team
We are a small team with big ambitions. The team comprises a Head of Fundraising and Communications, two Fundraising Managers, a Senior Communications Manager and a Senior Outreach Officer. We are recruiting two roles to the team: a Fundraising Executive and a Fundraising and Communications Assistant.
Fundraising Executive
We are looking to recruit a Fundraising Executive to support our fundraising and communications activities and be part of our small and dedicated team. This role is a new post in the team, so it is a great time to join the charity as we invest in our fundraising and communications team to maximise our income and realise our ambitions.
About You
Having previously worked in the charity sector, you will be passionate about our cause and committed to supporting us in raising the money required to meet our ambitions.
With an eye for detail, strong analytical and organisational skills, you will be able to undertake research on prospective corporate, major, trust and public donors and produce high quality written reports to support funding bids.
Using your ability to build effective relationships and work collaboratively, you will support fundraisers by providing them with timely and accurate information and manage a portfolio of smaller trusts and foundations, which will also include stewardship.

In this varied and interesting role, you will:
· Manage the receipt, recording and acknowledgement of donations received by the London centre and national fundraising activities, working with other centre staff on the development of administration procedures.

· Support the Events Manger in the delivery of fundraising and engagement events across the organisation.

We are looking for an exceptional Finance & Operations Director, for an interim one-year period, to help us ensure that all aspects of the charity and the Centre run smoothly and efficiently, and to provide effective financial management.
We are based at our beautiful Grade 2 listed building in Southwark. Our Centre houses an amazing collection of 25,000 children’s books as well as being a training and event centre for teachers, publishers and everyone else who works with children’s literature and cares about children’s literacy. The post holder would be required to work at our Centre at least one day per week but may work remotely for the remainder of their hours.

Events Fundraising Assistant
Job title: Events Fundraising Assistant

Purpose of the role

Main duties and responsibilities
This role requires work across all of Leukaemia Care’s fundraising event activity – providing administrative and operational support and engaging with supporters both personally and through the charity’s communication channels. Duties and responsibilities will, at any given time, include:
- Providing administrative support to the fundraising team as required.
- Monitor fundraising event e-mail inboxes, ensuring that actions are covered off by members of the fundraising team and, where appropriate, yourself.
- Take responsibility for ensuring that fundraising event participants database records are up to date, including integration with fundraising platforms such as Just Giving. In addition, provide data reports to the Senior Event fundraisers to assist in future event planning.
- Ensure that all event fundraising materials, merchandise and equipment are organised and safely stored, and that stock is monitored especially after use.
- Be responsible for the mailing and distribution of event fundraising materials such as clothing, welcome packs, collections tins, etc.
- Ensure that the fundraising events section of the Leukaemia Care website is up to date, working with the Communications team where necessary to keep existing and potential supporters informed. This includes input into social media information, and the creation of other marketing materials.
- Add Leukaemia Care fundraising event opportunities to external websites and ensure all information posted is correct.
- Help to engage with, steward and thank Leukaemia Care fundraisers both personally, on social media groups, and through the creation and distribution of materials such as Thank You certificates, etc.
- Attend fundraising events in person, including work at events to steward and engage with fundraisers and volunteers, and to set-up and break-down event materials. This role will require some work outside of normal office hours (evenings and weekends) where fundraising events necessitate.
- Work within the Code of Fundraising Practice as required by the Fundraising Regulator.
- Work within the General Data Protection Regulations ensuring that the charity obtains and record appropriate consents and preferences.
- Provide support to the wider fundraising and administrative team at Leukaemia Care during busy times or during periods of sickness or annual leave.
