As a Data Integrations Developer, you will be at the forefront of designing and building a range of data integrations. The charity helps to fund a range of activities and projects that are designed to enhance and improve the lives of our amazing young patients. This includes the funding of specialist medical equipment to ensure our brilliant surgeons and clinical staff have the most up to date and cutting edge technology available and funding hi-tech distraction equipment designed and proven to reduce pain and anxiety in our patients. We have recently closed our Surgical Neonatal Appeal, having successfully raised our £3m target towards a brand new, state of the art Surgical Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at the hospital. This year we will be fundraising towards a new Same Day Emergency Care Centre, providing an unrivalled experience for our patients and their families.
About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy corporate partnerships team. The postholder will work closely with the Corporate Partnerships Manager and wider Charity team to deliver the corporate strategy.
Areas of support include management of incoming enquiries, team support for events, administration tasks for the team and supporting corporate partners.
Key Responsibilities will include:

Income Generation & Stewardship

Provide administrative support for the Corporate Partnerships Team including

Some management of low value corporate partnerships as agreed with the Corporate Partnerships Manager.

Assist with the arrangements to ensure that all donors receive outstanding stewardship to establish long term commitment to the Charity.

*The charity is currently conducting a four-day working week trial, due to end on 31st March 2025. This means that, for example, staff previously working 37.5 hours a week are now working 30 hours a week to enable a four-day working week. The trial is monitoring the benefits of a four-day working week against productivity. We are confident that by embracing a more flexible and balanced approach to work, we can continue to create a thriving and fulfilling work environment while driving growth and success for our charity. Next steps will be agreed before the 31st March 2025, based on an assessment of the trial period; the four-day working week trial may be ended, extended or adopted permanently.
This fixed term contract is for 14 months at 28.13 hours per week. As part of our 4-day working week trial (working week Monday to Thursday) working hours required will be 22.5 hours per week if you opt to sign up to the trial and its associated conditions. If the trial was to end after 31st March 2025, the working hours required would return to the contracted weekly hours for this role of 28.13 hours per week. As part of our staff charter, we have a flexible working policy and can consider accommodating a flexible working pattern such as school working hours if requested.

Who are we looking for:
It is expected that the Senior Emergency Supply Chain Specialist (SESCS) will have significant prior experience in humanitarian supply chains, at international, regional, and local level and will have extensive experience in delivering aid in an emergency context.
The SESCS is an enthusiastic team member and a creative problem-solver with a keen eye for detail. They see opportunities in challenges and have outstanding interpersonal skills. This role would be ideally suited to someone with humanitarian emergency response experience both at an HQ, regional and field level.
This role is suited to someone who has experience in mentoring junior colleagues and who is looking to progress their career with line management responsibilities, whilst also working directly on delivering emergency response programmes.
The role will be starting at a time where ShelterBox is going through significant change with a Business Systems Transformation taking place across the organisation to improve our ways of working. This will allow us to be more effective in the face of mounting humanitarian needs and we therefore look forward to welcoming candidates who remain flexible and open to change.
The SESCS will always work within the charity’s aims, objectives and values and comply with all legal and regulatory requirements.
Role purpose
This role will be a core member of the Supply Chain Team, within the International Programmes Directorate and will report to the Programme Supply Chain Manager.
The SESCS will work closely with the Supply Chain Managers, Emergency Team, Regional Directors and Programme Managers and it is expected that the SESCS will be assigned to work mainly on the Emergency Responses and line manage Emergency / Supply Chain Specialists or Junior Supply Chain Specialists. Although other regions and countries may also require support at times.
The SESCS will engage in numerous tasks and projects encompassing the entire supply chain, from global and local scoping, tactical planning, and strategic supply chain management, to negotiation, procurement, and readiness.
The goal of the SESCS is to assist ShelterBox aid recipients by managing humanitarian supplies to provide aid and support to disaster-stricken areas, both from a distance and on-site.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
· Lead and coordinate the design and implementation of the supply chain for an assigned Emergency Response or Programme. This includes assessing and selecting supply options/route; supporting tax free importation and customs clearance; developing last-mile logistics solutions including in-country freight and warehousing; supporting the sourcing of operational services and goods at a local, regional, and global level; advising and reviewing partner procurement; and supporting CVA modalities to ensure high quality, timely responses.
· Responsible for tendering international freight requests to ensure best value, service, and accountability for movement of relief supplies. Including overseeing shipping of aid items by air, sea, road, or rail and arranging the preparation and provision of relevant shipping documentation.
· Establish, develop, and lead on good supply chain relationships with freight forwarders, suppliers, other humanitarian actors, relevant government departments and logistics coordination mechanisms (Logistics Cluster) at both global, regional, and field levels.
· Work with the Emergency Team and wider International Programmes Department to set up partnerships with other organisations.
· Provide line management and support to Emergency / Supply Chain Specialists / Junior Supply Chain specialists. Provide supervision to staff and volunteers during deployment and/or when providing on call remote support.
· Support with developing and delivering supply chain training for internal and external audiences.
· Be able to deploy and be the focal point for supply chain activities, setting up and overseeing the timely delivery of aid items and assistance. Possessing the ability to separate from the main team along with some team members and assume the role of a team leader for that subgroup.
· Be part of a roster and provide an out-of-hours first point of contact for supply chain activities for emergencies and deployed teams.
· Support ShelterBox to seek out new trends, innovations, and best practice in supply chain within the disaster relief sector. Be a champion for supply chain improvements within the International Programmes Department.
· Support the development of Supply Chain approaches, tools, templates policies and procedures to ensure more effective and efficient emergency responses.
· Identify, mitigate, and record supply chain risk in emergency responses and programmes and escalate when required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As the Finance Officer - Income clerk, you will be the main protagonist for our income processes with regards to the finance function. You will ensure that various sources of income are reflected in a timely and accurate manner on our finance system, which works with our CRM system.

Our Gambling Outreach And Living Support service GOALS is our community-based support service that provides bespoke and holistic 1:1 and group support to individuals and affected other impacted by gambling harms.
Our aim is to deliver an impactful GOALS service across London which builds effective networks of support for people before, during and after treatment.
A main aspect of the role will be to support and work closely with individuals presenting with lived experience of gambling harm issues and/or people affected by this issue. The GOALS Supporter will understand gambling related harm and dependency issues and be able to ensure safe working environments and take a robust lead on safeguarding and harm minimisation procedures and policy.
The post holder will work with the Head of Support Services and GOALS Coordinator to support the development and maintenance of the systems and structure of the service, ensuring that governance and polices are implemented, safeguarding and safe working practices are systematic and develop a clear understanding of how the service integrates with the national gambling treatment service.
Other support activities will be developed, such as group support and weekly meet ups.
The post holder will develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, deliver presentations and other promotions within community, education and health centres to help grow and develop the service.

In this role, you will undertake quality assurance and enhancement work with providers of physiotherapy education and will progress project work in areas aligned with developments in UK physiotherapy education. The role has a particular focus on ensuring innovative approaches to curriculum design and practice education, whilst taking account of changing patient needs, population health, service delivery models and contemporary developments in physiotherapy practice. The post holder will work with members to engage with developments relating to education delivery, commissioning and workforce planning; and support Higher Education Institutions in creating new pre- and post-registration programmes that support the creation of a physiotherapy workforce fit for the future.
You will also contribute to broader CSP education activity. This includes formulating position statements in key policy areas, undertaking education review processes and continuing to strengthen our links with physiotherapy education providers across the UK, again taking account of changes across health and social care and the university sector. In this role, you will work with other members of the CSP across the directorates to support corporate activity in line with the CSPs corporate strategy.
