• In order to realise this ambition, we need to increase our fundraised income for the period 2024 -2027 to £1.6million.
   
• Through this new organisational role, you’ll proactively create and grow fundraising income opportunities with individuals, community groups and grant giving trusts and foundations. You'll be at the heart of our local community, bringing our cause to life and building lasting donor relationships.
   
• Through your fundraising expertise, you will have a proven track record of building relationships with individuals, community groups, trusts and foundations and other donors to achieve and exceed annual income targets and KPI’s. You’ll have the capacity to create and craft compelling proposals and appeals that successfully engage and attract donations from new and existing supporters.

Through the design and delivery of excellent, engaging and regular stewardship communications and powerful fundraising appeals, you will grow our income and pool of individual supporters making one off or monthly donations. You’ll also explore and implement ways of promoting Eastbourne Food Bank across the community to successfully attract an ever-greater number of individual donors.

• You’ll engage with local community groups, associations, events, schools and businesses in order to grow Eastbourne Foodbank’s community fundraising reach and income.
   
• Through excellent, comprehensive and considered research, you’ll identify and prioritise a pool of potential Trusts and Foundations funders for Eastbourne Foodbank and, working with colleagues, you’ll develop authentic, compelling, creative and winning funding bids that can successfully engage new and existing Trusts and Foundations funders.  
   
• You’ll work closely with and support the CEO of Eastbourne Foodbank in maintaining and evolving the existing relationship with the Big Lottery Fund and developing collaborative fundraising activities and joint bids with five other Trussell Trust Foodbanks across East Sussex.

The salary will be £38k to £40k depending on experience

Research and Evaluation Manager (Maternity Cover), Together for Childhood

Additional considerations for the role 

The post is full-time and fixed term (14 months) but part-time/flexible/hybrid working will be considered. Travel to the Together for Childhood sites is an important part of the role. We would also be open to candidates seeking a secondment opportunity 

This is a 14-month maternity cover and will start in September 2024. We expect to be interviewing in early July. The interview process will have two stages to ensure recruitment panel representation from diverse NSPCC perspectives, and will cover both a competency-based and value-based interview. Competency-based interview questions will be shared in advance, in line with the NSPCC's inclusive recruitment approach.

Richmond AID offers 25 days annual leave plus eight bank holidays pro rata. Normal office hours are 9am to 5.15pm Monday to Thursday and 9am to 5pm on Fridays. Requirements

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced responsive repairs professional who understands the multiple disciplines required to deliver this fast-paced area of the business, to join our small, but supportive, Housing & Neighbourhoods Team working on all aspects of repairs and maintenance. It is an interesting and varied role for an engaging, solution-focused person, with a passion for providing these types of services across ISHA portfolio and help keep our residents homes well maintained, and someone who wants to add value within an organisation.

You will bring your knowledge and experience by providing advice and support to various stake holders, staff and residents by keeping ISHA service and maintenance records up to date and be able to demonstrate a robust repairs and maintenance service is being maintained. In this role, you will coordinate The Society’s communications activities to ensure a coherent and impactful narrative, manage the Communications Grid, and act as a brand champion. Who are we looking for? 

The ideal candidate will have a Life-Science degree or relevant experience in Life Sciences. They should have a strong track record of developing and delivering multi-channel communications for diverse audiences, including translating complex research for lay audiences. High digital literacy is essential, encompassing digital design tools, content creation, website management, email platforms, and social media management. Experience in project management, creating accurate visual and written content for various platforms, and excellent organisational skills with a proactive problem-solving approach are required. The candidate should also have experience maintaining professional relationships, working collaboratively within a team, and line management.

Scope of role

The Head of Programme & Organisational Development is also one of two Co-Leads of On Purpose London. As such, they are jointly responsible for the London Associate Programme in partnership with the Co-Lead of On Purpose London who focuses on  Business Development & Community. • Motivate and empower the London team and foster a healthy team culture - Set vision and strategy for On Purpose London alongside the co-lead and in collaboration with the International CEO and other Cities. Work with the international team, the co-leads of other Cities and the board to share and develop best practice and the organisation’s direction.

• Ensure the health and sustainability of an impactful London Associate Programme - Work together with other City Leads and the international team to monitor, measure and improve the programme’s financial sustainability and impact, with a focus on overseeing London’s finances.

• Improve ways of working to enable the team to embrace change and innovation - Develop and implement processes, practices, systems, and techniques to help strengthen performance and streamline operations. Foster a team culture which values flexibility, continuous learning, and openness to new ideas. 

• Support the development of Associates into impactful systems change leaders - Responsible for the overall quality of the Associate journey, envisioning and improving the Associate experience, and managing key moments including matching, induction and residential. Support Programme Delivery Manager in designing, planning and facilitating the training syllabus.

• Build engagement with our wider ecosystem of trainers, mentors & coaches - Ensure the recruitment, onboarding, matching and ongoing management of coaches and mentors throughout the year to support Associates’ growth and development.

• Lead the recruitment of high-calibre Associates from a diverse range of backgrounds - Oversee a rigorous assessment and selection process including scoring applications, training interviewers, interviewing candidates and managing the pipeline of potential candidates before and after offers.

Launched in 2021 and covering 1385 square miles, Raise: Cumbria Community Forest hugs the western edge of the Lake District National Park and stretches from Carlisle in the north to Barrow-in-Furness in the south.

Raise: Cumbria Community Forest is a member of England’s Community Forests – collectively, the work of 15 community forests has formed the largest environmental regeneration initiative in England - and we are part of the Community Forest Trust, a national registered charity.

The Programme Manager is a new role which lies at the heart of our organisation.  The Programme Manager will focus on developing our current processes and procedures to create a strong operational framework within which our whole team can thrive.  In particular, the role will be responsible for the co-ordination and administration of all our programme delivery and site pipelines, ensuring that all activity is aligned with funding agreements.  In addition, the role will operate a central office function accessible to our team working across Cumbria. There’s also the opportunity to get out of the office to work with our foresters and local communities across Cumbria to plant trees and create a legacy.  It’s an exciting time to join our organisation.

The successful candidate will have proven experience in a similar project or programme management role, preferably within the environmental or charitable sector though this is not essential.

The ability to work as part of an agile and dynamic multidisciplinary team is a must, as well as strong project management skills including planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation.

Stewardship offers a broad range of services to the Christian community – Accounts Examination, Payroll Bureau, Charity Formation, Consultancy Helpline, Lending, a giving platform and Philanthropy Services. We are looking to extend our use of Salesforce to integrate the customer information from these different services.

This role will work with the Head of Enterprise Applications and a project manager to implement the staged roll-out of Salesforce components. Although the roll-out will be done in bite-sized chunks, those small components will sum up to a major shift in the organisation’s capabilities. You will also be optimising business processes, making Stewardship staff’s jobs simpler and more efficient. Once the system is up and running, you will manage its ongoing evolution. The net result of all of this is that Stewardship will be a more efficient and effective organisation, better able to deliver the excellent customer service we are known for.

We have a very exciting new role with a health charity in Gloucestershire, ideal for someone with project management skills and experience, particularly in a marketing environment.
