About the role 

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team in London, in a key role supporting our Chief Executive and wider executive team.

The Executive Team Assistant will provide confidential EA support to the Chief Executive along with providing organisational support to the wider Executive Team, enabling them to operate as efficiently and effectively as possible. Through effective communication and organisation of queries, inbox and diary management, meeting and event coordination along with support on project administration, the post holder will support the CEO and wider Directorate while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality.

About you 

The successful candidate will need previous experience of supporting Executive teams with the ability to deliver complex tasks and lead in finding ways to support the leadership team to work more effectively. Experience in designing documentation (e.g. project summary reports, presentations and minutes) for projects or change initiatives is essential.

You will enjoy juggling priorities and forward planning to ensure projects and meetings run efficiently. You will be comfortable with autonomy whilst also able to build effective relationships and understand different stakeholder needs. This will be a busy role supporting a wide range of projects and change initiatives and therefore the ability to visualise what success looks like and map a route towards it will be vital for the role.

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Sustrans as a Project Officer working in partnership with Southeastern, Medway Council and other partners in developing the Kent Community Railway Partnership (CRP). You will work as part of a small team, building strong relationships with communities, schools, workplaces and other local organisations.

As the Project Officer, you will help deliver the CRP action plan, which is a combination of mini-projects and core activities, offering a tailored package of support to groups and various community and school groups. You will also bring new volunteers on board and support them with their ongoing experience as part of the CRP.

As the project officer you will develop and engage communities in fun, innovative and informative activities. You will also share resources, and work with communities to reduce car use to and from train stations, increasing the opportunities for walking wheeling and cycling,

This role will require travel and work throughout Kent including the Isle of Sheppey as necessary to undertake projects on behalf of Sustrans.

About the role

The Esther Project (TEP) Lead is responsible for the development, implementation and running of The Esther Project, management of the TEP Team and for the development of our network and partnership work.

• Implement strategy for development of The Esther Project

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated, experienced fundraiser to oversee and drive forward all of our income generation. This job will be based at our gorgeous Bath Farm, which also acts as the charity’s HQ. The successful candidate will need to be at the Bath Farm at least two days a week. This role will involve regular travel in order to build connections with potential partners and to develop relationships with all of our farms. It will also involve attendance at conferences and events, to help raise our profile. 

About Jamie’s Farm

Jamie’s Farm is a charity which helps young people to flourish at home, in education and in the community through an intensive weeklong immersion in rural life. During a busy residential stay, young people help us run large working livestock farms and tackle many challenging and unfamiliar jobs, designed to offer everyone an opportunity for achievement, thereby building their self-esteem and confidence. They live in a supportive family environment that encourages them to push themselves out of their comfort zone. Our therapeutic input makes use of individual and group sessions to allow children to reflect on their lives on the farm and back home, to draw out tangible strategies for improvements to be realised when they return home.

Our programme is shown to have long term positive impacts on the lives of the young people we support. At the end of their visit, 66% of all young people showed improved mental wellbeing. Six weeks after their visit, of those with concerning attendance, 67% were no longer of concern. Six months after their visit, of those previously at risk of permanent exclusion, 64% were no longer at risk. These dramatic changes are only possible through the combined efforts of the entire Jamie’s Farm team.

Partnerships Manager Role 

Jamie’s Farm is quickly growing to help meet the increasing needs of young people from around the UK. The legacy of the pandemic, increasing mental health challenges and the cost-of-living crisis are all causing more children than ever to need the support of programmes like ours. Our existing farms are all full to capacity and booked many months ahead. As part of our strategic plan, we wish to grow our capacity and expand our geographical presence so that we can help more children, from more communities, during the second decade of Jamie’s Farm’s history. 

The Partnerships Manager plays a crucial role in the next phase of Jamie’s Farm’s growth. Our new farm in Skipton opened its doors to young people for day visits in April 2023 and is currently undergoing development as another residential farm. We have also just purchased a second farm near Bath, which is currently being developed. Combined, these two sites will allow us to work with another 80 partners and support almost 1,000 more young people every year. 

The Partnerships Manager’s principal task will be finding and developing these new partnerships. This will involve building relationships with schools, local authorities, academy chains and other charities around the country, sharing the benefits of a Jamie’s Farm programme and supporting them to make a visit possible. The Partnerships Manager will also work closely with other members of the HQ team to develop and expand other earned income streams, all of which are used to directly subsidise our groups of visiting young people.

The Welcome Centre is an independent charity providing crisis support in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. We run a large food bank operation providing practical support. We also have an in-house Advice, Guidance & Support team who work with the people accessing our food bank to help improve their longer term circumstances. Each year we support thousands of people in crisis in our community.  As Fundraising Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring we can provide the resources required.

We have a small friendly and committed staff team working across two sites in Huddersfield, supported by more than 100 volunteers. We rely on the generosity of our community and partners to support our work.

Disability Solutions West Midlands are seeking a motivated individual with an advice background who is looking for additional training to become our DisAbility Connect Project Worker. The successful candidate will have a knowledge of the health and social care/local community landscape and experience of working in the community advice sector, or social prescribing. The successful candidate will have a full driving licence and daily use of a car.  We warmly welcome applications from ex-military personnel.

Role Responsibilities: 

You will be delivering a unique and innovative information and advice-based support and enablement service for people with disabilities who are living complex and challenging lives:

· Helping them to understand and identify the issues that are undermining their quality of life.

· Exploring options for solutions, opportunities, and ways forward with clients and helping them to make choices.

· Supporting clients’ development of action plans.

· Enabling clients to fulfil their action plans and gain the life-toolkit and ability to manage future setbacks and take advantage of new opportunities.

37 hours per week with starting salary of £23,698 with pension contribution and Employee Assistance Programme.

Currently office-based Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 08.30am-4.30pm, with other hours currently home-based (Wed, and Fri).

The Project Coordinator will be joining at an exciting time of growth for the Employment and Skills department with the aim of supporting the delivery and evaluation of our newly launched Training Grounds programme. The postholder will lead on community outreach initiatives that aim to recruit 96 or more participants (aged 16 to 24) from Haringey and Enfield over 12 months and support them with life skills geared towards the achieve positive outcomes in education, employment or social attainments conducted through group and 1-2-1 sessions. The Project Coordinator will work closely with the EFL Trust to capture and record the achievement of outcomes and journey progression of participants on the Training Grounds Programme.

Digital Healthcare Manager

The Digital Healthcare Manager is a new and exciting role at the College. This role will lead the development of the RCPCH Digital Health programme, aimed at understanding the range of technologies in use by the membership along with the digital confidence and competence of the membership through analysis of survey data. This analysis will help to provide details of key digital solutions for the workforce. The Digital Health programme will also support the workforce to embrace and implement digital health technologies into clinical practice.

As Digital Healthcare Manager, you will lead activities related to the integration of digital health technologies into mainstream paediatrics by participating in relevant Committees and working groups and reporting to Project Boards on the programme’s progress against agreed timelines, deliverables, risks and issues.

Based within the Research and Evidence team and reporting to the Head of Research and Evidence, you will work with colleagues internally and externally to embed digital skills into the paediatric workforce as well as developing education and training resources for paediatricians, to help build capacity and capability.

You will also work with the Head of Grants and Partnerships to identify sources of funding to support future work within the Research and Evidence remit and work with communications colleagues to create and implement communication plans and resources/assets related to the RCPCH Digital Health.

With a degree or equivalent experience with a research, health science or digital healthcare

component, you should have experience of producing high quality written reports, documentation and promotional information suitable for a range of audiences.

You should have experience of collaborative ways of working across multidisciplinary teams and programmes of work and have the ability to manage competing demands and conflicts whilst maintaining productive working relationships with stakeholders.

With excellent organisational skills and the ability to adopt an orderly and precise approach to work, paying careful attention to detail and capable of following standard procedures and ways of working, you should also have demonstrable programme management skills, being able to work autonomously and take personal responsibility for your projects.

Knowledge of research methodology, including literature searching and data analysis, along with a project management qualification and an understanding of the education and training pathways of paediatric healthcare professionals would also be desirable.
