• Administrate SCOPE programme and manage SCOPE E-Learning Learning Management System

Oversee SCOPE, World Obesity’s education programme including: 

• Update, and develop new online modules with input of CCC members / working groups and module developers

Pregnancy Options Centre (Options) are seeking a Fundraising and Marketing Officer to raise funds for our counselling and education services: supporting people in crisis or distress around unplanned pregnancy or pregnancy loss experiences and educating the next generation on matters surrounding sexual health and healthy relationships. The post-holder will be responsible for raising funds from grants/trusts applications, and for developing and maintaining donor relationships. They will also take the lead on marketing the charity through social media, publicity and our website.

Pregnancy Options Centre provides free, non-directive help and support to anyone facing an unplanned pregnancy or struggling following an abortion or pregnancy loss. We offer a safe, non-judgemental environment where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings surrounding their situation and experiences. Alongside our counselling service, our Education project delivers interactive workshops to young people on topics surrounding healthy sex and relationships, self-esteem and the three options following an unplanned pregnancy: abortion, adoption and parenting.

Fundraising and Marketing Officer Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Fundraising and Finance:

• To carry out and contribute to the fundraising strategy
• Write comprehensive and compelling funding applications to Trusts and Foundations, tailoring them to meet a range of criteria
• To research and develop new funders to support the achievement of fundraising goals
• Build, nurture and maintain positive relationships with current funders, corporates and donors by stewarding them well.
• Ensure grants are acknowledged promptly and reporting requirements are met within agreed timescales
• To maintain up to date and accurate funder and donor records
• Work with project leads to identify and produce case studies/ service user statistics to demonstrate the impact of the charity’s projects
• Work with the CEO on community fundraising events, either organised by the charity or supporters.
• Explore innovative ways to diversify and expand Pregnancy Options Centre’s fundraising efforts.

Marketing:

• Manage Pregnancy Options Centre’s website: maintain and update content; optimise pages for audience and campaigns.
• Manage Pregnancy Options Centre’s social media channels; develop and execute a content plan, schedule, create and post engaging content, monitor and respond to supporters to build our following.
• Create and edit short-form videos for social media
• Write and design Pregnancy Options Centre’s Bi-monthly Newsletter; build our following and increase supporter engagement.
• Work with the CEO to devise supporter care procedures for donors to ensure they feel valued by their interactions with us.
• In conjunction with the CEO, attend relevant networking events to increase the charity’s visibility and secure new partnerships.

Other:

• To provide quarterly reports for Trustee meetings
• To attend monthly staff meetings
• To carry out all such reasonable duties as may be required as part of the role instructed by the CEO

• To attend regional or national events as required, including networking within the Pregnancy Centre’s Network (PCN)

You will be from come from a background involving the creation and management of  fundraising products, projects and/ or appeals, most likely within the charitable sector. You will have an outcome-focussed approach, with experience of managing multi-disciplinary fundraising teams. We would expect an understanding of preparing organisation- and project-level cases for support, and that you are comfortable with achieving financial and non-financial targets – and supporting team members to do the same. You will be a great communicator with a personable style who can work with many different people across the wonderful variety of geography, business development and activities of the Wildlife Trust. 

You will enjoy actively challenging the status quo to find new ways of doing things, looking for good practice and solving problems as they arise. This is a new role which will evolve following your appointment so you should be excited by the flexibility and opportunities to take an innovative approach.

The Production Officer will play a crucial role in managing workflow into the Creative, Digital and Comms teams, and coordinating creative projects.

They will be the ultimate super user of our production management tool, Hive. They will set up projects on the system, ensure the smooth running of the system day-to-day, and help trouble shoot any issues that arise. The role will also help ensure that users internally are trained and confident in using the platform.

The Production Officer will also coordinate creative projects, to ensure they are delivered smoothly and on time, as well as supporting with the management of our content and photography library.

Main duties and responsibilities of the role:

· Support with the day-to-day management of the production tool, Hive. This will include setting up projects, ensuring teams are assigned, keeping the platform up-to-date, and carrying out other administrative tasks crucial for the smooth running of Hive.

· Liaise with Hive to troubleshoot any issues and stay up to date with new features on the platform.

· Be a Hive super champion across the organisation, delivering Hive inductions for new starters.

· Build and maintain strong relationships across the organisation, supporting teams to brief in work to Brand, Comms and Digital.

· Support the Creative team with the production of projects, including setting timelines, managing workflow and coordinating sign-off.

· Supporting with the management of the content and photography library, ensuring that photographs are correctly uploaded and tagged, with correct consent and removed from the system on the expiry date.

· Carry out additional directorate-wide responsibilities to support the smooth running of the directorate, for example, support with workshops and planning days.

 

What we are looking for:

· Experience of using a production management tool in a creative or communications environment.

· Excellent experience of coordinating projects, including managing and briefing meetings, setting timelines, and coordinating sign-off.

· Experience of bringing multi-skilled teams together to deliver tasks.

· Good understanding of creative, communications and/or digital processes.

· Experience of managing relationships with external suppliers.

· Agile and flexible, understanding that priorities may change at short notice.

· Ability to work at pace, delivering multiple projects to meet specified deadlines.

· Clear and concise communications skills, both written and verbal.

· A proactive self-starter, who can anticipate challenges and any issues that might arise.

· An excellent collaborator who enjoys bringing teams together.

Additional Information:

Ways of working:  As part of our Agile ways of working you will be required to work approximately 2 days a week from the office, which is subject to the requirements of the role and the business needs. Flexibility on where you work can be split between working from home and our office.

Roles that are classed as part of the Agile ways of working are not able to claim any costs for Mileage/Travel on Public Transport, Accommodation and/or Meals.  This includes when attending the office for various meetings/events.

We’re looking for a proactive professional to support our mission to transform loneliness into connection among isolated people and under-served groups in Tower Hamlets.

The role of Programme Support Officer will provide administrative and coordination support to new What Works Programmes, ensuring the smooth delivery of projects and initiatives.

The role will also oversee the administration of two expert evaluation advisory groups and the evaluation panel that supports the Evidence & Evaluation team to commission and run high quality projects.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting with programme and project design, planning, monitoring of progress, liaison with other teams in Youth Futures, including communications, and resolving problems

Do you want to work with multiple award-winning charity, FoodCycle? This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for food and community to be a part of FoodCycle’s after-school community meal projects. As Schools Coordinator, you will coordinate and deliver weekly family meals at your allocated schools (2-3 evenings per week) as well as coordinate all aspects of the projects, from volunteer management to food surplus supply.​

Our after-school community meals will be spaces where families of school children can gather at the end of the school day to enjoy a free nutritious meal and be among the school community. With the support of our National Schools & Franchise Manager you will manage local relationships with schools, community partners, supermarkets and volunteer recruitment channels to enable our meals to happen each week

As a can-do person and excellent communicator, you will manage the volunteers at each project ensuring they are trained, supported and on-message with FoodCycle strategy. You will have previously worked with primary school-aged children or families, in school or other setting. There will be frequent travel within Central Region (Initially focused in Birmingham/West Midlands), with evening work required. A full driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes is essential for this rewarding role.​

ABOUT THE ROLE

HOURS: Full-time (35 hrs per week, Mon-Fri) is available. Other more flexible arrangements would be considered.

SALARY: £32,654-£36,124pa + £500 training budget

START DATE: This post is available from May 2025

CONTRACT TYPE: 24 months fixed term with a view to extending, however this is funding dependent.

You will be based from our flagship space in East Finchley but may also be required to travel across the borough of Barnet. Whilst we try to keep things consistent, we require everyone to work flexibly as required to ensure adequate staff ratios across our provision.

Due to our existing commitments to young people, at a minimum this post-holder must be available to work in-person Mon-Thursday and until 7pm on a Wednesday and Thursday.

Your role will work across London prisons to develop the mechanisms by which family voices can create change and inform practice.

The Bike Project is fortunate to have a diverse community of supporters including trusts and foundations, major donors and corporate partners as well as many committed members of the public who donate their bikes, time and money to the charity and buy bikes from us too. Our supporters are our lifeblood and we are keen to grow this community and ensure they are well looked-after, kept up to date on our activities and understand the impact of their support. 

This role is key to making this happen. You will head up our brilliant Fundraising & Marketing Team to ensure we take a joined-up approach to supporter acquisition and income generation. You will work closely with the Chief Executive and all members of the team to meet targets, but critically, to ensure we take full advantage of every opportunity to maximise benefit for our bike recipients. This includes oversee the delivery of our retail activity which has recently moved online. This is an exciting opportunity to build on good work done over the past two years.

Being a small charity, we work in an agile manner which allows for creative ideas to flourish and new ideas to be implemented quickly. We hold regular donation sessions from our London and Birmingham workshops, so there is opportunity to see the impact of your work first hand.

Build Up is a charity that runs practical construction projects across London, supporting young people aged 10-23 years old to shape their local area. We’re looking for a Programme Manager to join us and lead the delivery of these projects.

The role

You’ll coordinate Build Up’s year-round programme of youth-led design and construction projects, managing two Construction Project Managers to deliver them. You’ll develop project ideas selected by our young people and support our team to set up strong working partnerships. Overseeing Build Up’s pipeline of new projects and working with our fundraisers and partners to bring them to fruition will be central to your role.

Who you are

We’re looking for someone who can work flexibly across projects, balancing immediate and longer term priorities. You’ll have people management experience and be able to delegate and provide extra support when needed. Build Up’s partners include both informal groups and local authorities, so we need someone who’s comfortable setting up effective working relationships with organisations of all sizes. We don’t expect applicants to have design and construction expertise – full supervision is provided by other team members.

We value lived experience relevant to young people facing structural inequalities, including those related to ethnicity, gender, class, disability, income, housing, sexuality or care experience.

Who we are

Young people are often excluded from decisions about their communities, especially in areas of regeneration. At Build Up, we’re working to change that by supporting young people to design and build community spaces. We bring young people, builders and designers together, equipping young people with the tools and agency to have ownership over their neighbourhoods.

Key details

Salary: £41,926-47,008 FTE (£33,541- 37,606 pro rata for 4 days)

Hours: 4 days (30 hours) per week (flexible)

Benefits: 32 days plus public holidays (pro rata), 8% employer pension contribution.

Location / work pattern: We expect the successful applicant to work in our Elephant and Castle office at least 2 days a week.  The role will also involve in-person site visits and meetings throughout the week.

Start date: 1st July (flexible)
