- Any food surplus is donated to The One Can Trust in High Wycombe (local food bank)

A year ago, GTB was awarded funding from a prestigious donor to develop and transform the CIC in three years from a pro-bono-based organisation, into a sustainable community organisation.
We are seeking an experienced Development Director with a charity/CIC/Social sector background who will relish the opportunity to join the team at board level and play a pivotal role. Working with fellow directors to shape the strategy and position of the organisation, your role will be to realise new income streams and develop a robust income pipeline by engaging multiple funding audiences. This role is offered on a freelance contract basis, working 3 days a week with an equivalent FTE salary of £39,626 p.a.

About the role

You will have a broad remit to support the implementation of programmes across the team, in particular, programmes to support teachers and providers with technical education reforms. Using a high degree of personal expertise and judgement to support the Technical Education Networks programme, including responsibility to:

The Role: Operations Manager
We are seeking an inspiring and dedicated Operations Manager to play a key role in our organisation, leading and supporting our passionate staff team of eight people and managing daily operations at M13 Youth Project, supported by and reporting to the Founder.
You will lead on the smooth running of operations, working closely with youth work staff to nurture a trusting, inclusive and dedicated working culture, which enables staff and young people to feel safe, valued and hopeful and to develop excellent work together.
You will be responsible for overseeing the ongoing development of our staff team, including scheduling staff and activities, managing working hours and absence, line managing staff, supporting recruitment, induction, disciplinary and grievance processes and being the first point of contact for the team.
This role requires experience and capability in managing processes and people, with good organisational skills, attention to detail, emotional intelligence and dedication to completing tasks. Future Advocacy has been awarded a significant grant by the Gates Foundation, for a project which aims to make the case for international development and investment in Official Development Assistance (ODA) in Germany, the UK, France and at the EU level. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and coordinate this complex, multi-market project.

We are recruiting a part-time (16 hours per week) Data Management Officer to join our supportive team who are committed to making life better for Manchester’s unpaid carers. This post is an ideal opportunity for someone passionate about data, who enjoys working as part of a team and wants to use their skills within a small charity.
We are looking for someone experienced in data management, who can organise, maintain and develop our information systems, and produce reports for different audiences. You might also have some experience supporting reporting and evaluation for a community or charitable organisation, but this is not essential. What is essential, are strong skills in Microsoft Excel!
This is a remote working role and can be worked flexibly, with a limited number of fixed online meeting dates during the month. There may be very occasional in person meetings in Manchester, primarily central Manchester. Your office/admin base would be your home address.

Job Purpose
The Operations Director is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing ELBA's operational functions to maximise community impact and strengthen corporate partnerships. This role is pivotal in ensuring that programme teams are empowered, supported, and held accountable for achieving their objectives. The Operations Director will work closely with the CEO and Partnership Directors to sustain ELBA’s position as a leader in Employee Supported Volunteering (ESV), social mobility, and place-based initiatives.

Job Purpose
· To manage the delivery of Young Marketeers in Plymouth in four primary schools
Background to School Food Matters
School Food Matters (SFM) exists to teach children about food and to improve children’s access to healthy, sustainable food during their time at school. We provide fully funded food education programmes to schools. Our experience delivering these programmes informs and strengthens our campaigns, bringing the voices of children, parents and teachers to government policy.
Young Marketeers
This much-loved programme was started in London in 2012. It is now running in 12 cities across England and is funded by the National Lottery Community Fund for three years. The programme provides hands-on opportunities for children from primary schools to grow fruit and veg from seed to sell at their local market. Young Marketeers is also a platform for School Food Matters to promote food education to schools and communities as a way to support children to live happy and healthy lives. Children learn the art of growing veg from seed, and market traders will share their secrets on how to create a winning market stall. Primary schools will be visited by our gardener in March/April and then again in May/June and receive further tips on how to ensure a bumper crop. And in July, they head to the market to sell their produce, and to meet the mayor!
Key Tasks include:
· Assist with recruitment of four schools to take part in Young Marketeers
· Build and maintain relationships with teachers, teaching assistants and senior leaders to ensure the smooth running of the project
· Build and support relationships with contacts in partner organisations

o One assembly in each school
o Two food growing sessions in each school
o One market trader training session in each school
o Market Day in the city centre in July for four schools
· Maintain accurate records relating to the programme
