Turning tides is our exciting new project  working with young people aged 18-25 offering one to one coaching in  community based settings. The project delivers bespoke support based on a young persons needs and challenges.  We are looking to appoint a wellbeing coach  based in Whitby . The ideal candidate will live in Whitby and have a good understanding of the area  and its resources. 

The role will involve  maintaing a caseload of young people in the whitby area, assessing needs, creating action plans and maintaining paperwork. There will also be a requirement to liase with other organisations  to create links and investigate signpostiong possibilities. The successful candidate would be working with a group of coaches covering the scarborough and Whitby area who are acheiving excellent results with their caseloads there will be frequent oppertunities for peer supervisions and support from the management team. 

Sidewalk is a youth charity that was set up in  1989 to work with young people in Scarborough. Over the years sidewalk has extended its provision and now includes  detatched youth work, centre based youth groups and community and school based mentoring and coaching. We now work with young people across the yorkshire coastOur workforceare dynamic, caring and resilliant and our organisation aims to support young people with challenges and developing a youth voice.

The Senior Fundraising Operations Officer will lead on a number of weekly and monthly data import processes, ensuring income and supporter contact data is loaded accurately onto the CRM system.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Database Manager in the management and development of the Charity CRM database, championing its use across fundraising and identifying opportunities for system development. They will also work with colleagues across fundraising and communications to support the selection of data for marketing campaigns.

Key tasks

• Lead on the import of both online and offline income streams, investigating and resolving anomalies.
• Undertake data marketing selections, in conjunction with the Database Manager, liaising with fundraising colleagues on selection criteria.
• Work with the Database Manager to provide effective database and operational support to end users.
• Undertake all aspects of the Supporter Services Assistant role on days when they are not in the office, ensuring supporter enquiries are responded to, income processed twice weekly and donations thanked.
• Work with the Database Manager to develop and continuously improve database reporting across both Charity CRM and Power BI in support of the fundraising and communications operational plan.

We are launching our new organization-wide CRM, Salesforce. This is a hugely significant and transformative organisation-wide project that provides the opportunity to grow the way we engage with our supporters. 

As the Database Officer, your key purpose in post is to ensure efficient, compliant data management, and effective data processes alongside accurate data capture. You will proactively support, find improvements, and push for efficiencies to allow CRM system users to engage with and effectively manage our supporters. This must be completed with reference to relevant data protection/GDPR laws and within a framework of the most effective data management techniques. 

You will play a key role in providing process improvements across teams to enable the further development of an automation programme that speeds up and improves accuracy across imports and exports. You will also be responsible for scoping, defining, and implementing data quality improvements. 

Main duties and responsibilities of the role:

· Work with our Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) tool named Clarity Data Transform (CDT) to create data integrations with Salesforce. This will include extensive documentation writeup, testing requirements, and a restrained and disciplined development approach where quality is more important than speed.

· Ensure that any exception files from the CDT automations are triaged and the issues rectified, including escalating issues to the relevant agency, or logging a defect in Jira Software.

· Play a key role in the sprint development team, completing development work in Salesforce as directed and taking part in all sprint development meetings.

· Work with the Database Manager to ensure Direct Debit claims and Gift Aid claims are processed accurately and on the agreed schedule.

· Carry out more complex data loading processes and act as a point of escalation for issues when raised by the Database Executives.

· Critically examine existing processes and drive process improvement across database stakeholders and users.

· Support the Database Manager on database improvement projects, aimed at both improving the quality of data, and teams’ processes surrounding their use of Salesforce.

· Provide second line support for the Data Team ticketing system, ensuring tickets are resolved in a timely manner.

· Maintain, enhance, and develop data quality checks and associated processes to improve the integrity and usefulness of the data within Salesforce.

· Support the Database Manager in ensuring data management best practice is incorporated into each teams’ processes.

· Other data management tasks from time to time as identified by the Database

What we are looking for:

· Knowledge of relational databases, CRM systems and/or large datasets.

· Knowledge and understanding of ETL tools and practices.

· Understanding of data protection/GDPR legislation and its implementation.

· Knowledge and understanding of SQL.

· Experience of using Salesforce or similar CRM systems.

· Experience providing support and training to end users.

· Experience using a ticketing system, such as Jira Service Desk.

Founded just over two years ago, we are seeking a finance and team coordinator to become an integral part of our expanding team. As the Finance and Team assistant, you will have experience in an administrative and finance role and have the ability to deal effectively with suppliers, internal teams and freelance contractors.

Responsibilities: Finance

• Expense and invoice Management: Accurately file and record expenses and invoices using QuickBooks or Xero
• Payments: weekly payment run and payroll
• Cash flow reporting: Assist in preparing and maintaining monthly cash flow reports and tracking spend across projects as directed by the CFO
• VAT returns: Handle quarterly VAT returns to ensure compliance with UK financial regulations
• Tax: Provide assistance with tax preparation and compliance
• Annual returns: Support in the preparation of the annual return in collaboration with our CFO
• Data management: Maintain and update financial records in Google Sheets
• Expenses: Management of expenses platform and related enquiries

Responsibilities: Team Support

• Support the maintenance of office infrastructure

• Previous experience in the not-for-profit sector is preferred but not essential – although we ask for a strong commitment to social impact but this can be through volunteering, activism etc

Compensation and Benefits

• This role is two days a week. We are open to this being two full full days or the allocation being stretched across the week.
• The contract is being offered on a one year fixed-term contract at 37,000 GBP pro-rata with a strong possibility of extension

We are seeking a dynamic Family Finding Social Worker or Senior Practitioner wishing to play an active role in the delivery and development of a high-quality family finding service for the London Borough of Hillingdon, for children with a plan for adoption.

The post holder will be one of two professionals responsible for family finding for children with a care plan of adoption within the local area.

The post holder will be part of a small and very supportive team to develop practise and skills in this area. The post holder will also be able to have access resources and services within Hillingdon to support this role and be part of a bigger network of support from colleagues from across the RAA. This role will function as 6 month fixed contract with the possibility of an extension to offer continuity to the children we are family finding for.
