About the role

The Executive Team Assistant will provide confidential EA support to the Chief Executive along with providing organisational support to the wider Executive Team, enabling them to operate as efficiently and effectively as possible. The Access & Participation Project Coordinator is a brand new, exciting role designed to support LSESU’s work around access and participation.
The successful candidate will play a lead role in identifying areas where there is a need/opportunity for targeted interventions to support the experiences of students from disadvantaged backgrounds, before putting then translating these into evidence-based proposals.
The Access & Participation Project Coordinator will be responsible for designing, implementing and delivering these programmes, as well as for reporting back on them and proactively seeking ways of driving continuous improvement.
The role will also oversee the delivery of the Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) Mentoring Scheme. This landmark programme, that was last year nominated at the National Diversity Awards, pairs students from ethnic minority backgrounds with LSE alumni, who provide the former with mentoring and support during their studies.
The successful person will be responsible for reviewing the programme and seeking to build upon its fledgling success to ensure it is bigger, better and more impactful than ever.
This role will also involve close working with stakeholders at LSE, especially those working on the delivery of LSE’s Access & Participation Plan (APP).
You would be joining a fantastic and friendly Advice Team, consisting of the Advice Caseworker and Advice Manager, that sits within the wider Student Voice Department, and which together oversees all of the Union’s advice, policy, democratic, campaigning and representation work.
Given the breadth of work undertaken within the department, expect there to be plenty of opportunities to grow, develop and pick up new skills outside of the main responsibilities of the role.

Job Purpose:
WomenMATTA delivers innovative services to women in Manchester and Trafford who are in contact with, or at risk of being in contact with, the criminal justice system. This includes one to one practical and emotional support, advocacy, and group work.
This post is two-fold; the post holder will provide in-depth, ongoing support to a caseload of complex cases, in addition to supporting the WomenMATTA Programme Manager with the operational management of the Programme, including the the coordination of the ‘Women’s Hubs’. The post holder will manage direct reports who operate as frontline staff across Manchester and Trafford.

The support provision operates as part of an overall network of support and care for clients working closely with other professionals involved in the support and care of the individual.

You will be someone who is able to engage, motivate and work closely with diocesan staff, parish leaders and external partners to build strong relationships, foster a culture of sustainability, and develop a sense of momentum towards our aims of decarbonising our residential property portfolio and church buildings.
Key Responsibilities include:
· Influencing and supporting parishes to prepare and deliver their NZC action plans relating to their buildings.

We are looking for an organised and creative Project Manager to coordinate our ongoing multi-million pound appeal. The campaign is funding specialist nurses and therapists for Parkinson’s, making a huge difference to the lives of people living with the condition. Parkinson’s is the fastest growing neurological condition, and this work is one of the charity’s top strategic priorities for 2024 and 2025 and a crucial fundraising and communications priority.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with fundraising and communications teams across the charity, including Philanthropy, Trusts, Commercial Partnerships and Special Events, with a growing focus on Individual Giving, Events, Community and Supporter Experience as the appeal builds momentum.
We’re looking for someone who has successfully managed diverse projects, and also has experience of working in one or more of these fundraising disciplines to ensure they can hit the ground running. The Financial Education Coordinator will be responsible for recruiting and onboarding schools to embed our free financial education resources into primary school classrooms. You will have an excellent understanding of the challenges and pressures that exist within a primary school environment. You will be able to generate enthusiasm for financial education, as well as develop strong relationships with schools and other project collaborators. You will achieve this by proactively researching, networking, and making connections with schools in London and the Southeast region. You will speak to stakeholders, including teachers and school leadership, to promote our programme. Once they have registered, you will then train the teachers and school staff on how to incorporate our resources flexibly into their classrooms. The Financial Education Delivery Coordinator will need to work flexibly with each school to best meet their needs, according to our policies and guidelines. Reporting the progress of the various programmes is a key part of the role and the ability to collate data, identify risks, and meet deadlines is crucial.
As a part of the broader Programmes and Innovation department, this role is a creative opportunity to develop new ideas and ways of delivering financial literacy to primary schools. About the role
For the past five years, Platform’s fossil free work has focused on the coordination of the activist network UK Divest, with the aim to disrupt the financing of the fossil fuel industry through local government pension schemes. In the past two years, the remit of our work has expanded, to include new campaigns focused on exposing and disrupting fossil fuel industry sportswashing and the lobbying of Parliament. Now, with new campaigning underway on new targets in the pension sector, we are re-organising and growing our team to resource this exciting work.
Working alongside three Fossil Free Campaigners at Platform - and partners at Friends of the Earth Scotland - you will build on the strengths and learnings of past years to lead the strategic development of this important programme of work, incorporating UK Divest, Fossil Free Parliament, fossil free sports work, and new pensions work.
Our fossil free campaign is also inextricably tied to other movements for social justice. We are specifically seeking someone to develop the international solidarity potential of this work, understanding how fossil fuels are intertwined with the defence industry, colonialism, and global extraction more broadly. We want to target investment in and political support for fossil fuel companies because we believe it is intricately linked to broader global justice, such as the UK Government’s role in supporting destructive energy projects worldwide. The best divestment and anti-fossil fuel campaigning has been, and your future work will be, informed by and responsive to the BDS movement, the Global Energy Embargo for Palestine and anti-apartheid and arms trade work.
As a permanent member of Platform staff, you will also participate in the collective decision-making and running of Platform as an organisation, as well as having fundraising responsibilities alongside your project work.

About the role
The Programme Coordinator will primarily be responsible for supporting Money Heroes, our largest primary programme designed to develop the financial capability of children across England and Wales. Money Heroes provides resources, training and mentoring for primary schools, as well as storybooks, games and other materials to supplement learning about money at school and in the home.
The Programme Coordinator will work closely with the Programme Manager and the Money Heroes team to ensure the smooth running of the programme, including coordinating content development and website updates, supporting the delivery of teacher training events, supporting the marketing and promotion of the programme, and supporting ongoing monitoring and evaluation. The role also works more broadly across the whole of the Programmes and Services team to ensure joined-up cohesive support is offered internally and externally to staff, teachers and other educators.

Do you have experience in successfully managing complex projects, ideally in a not-for -profit environment? We are seeking an experienced Programme Manager to develop and shape programmes to successfully deliver against the Church of England’s ambitious target to become net-zero by 2030.
This role will be working across both Rochester and Canterbury Diocese and the successful applicant will need to have current working knowledge of environmental and climate issues.
This is a new role which is funded for two years.
Key Responsibilities
The post-holder(s) will:
- Oversee the ongoing development and delivery of the Net Zero Carbon (NZC) programmes for both dioceses.
- Maximise the alignment of the plans for each diocese as far as is practical to optimise the benefit of working together in partnership, and actively identify and develop opportunities for partnership working in delivery. Specifically, to develop a NZC action plan for Rochester including managing the adoption of the plan by the appropriate governance committees. (Note: Canterbury already has an approved NZC action plan.)
- Develop, maintain and deliver an implementation plan which highlights the strategic activities, has clear objectives and impact measures; including evaluation.
- Working with other diocesan colleagues, oversee the planning and development of decarbonisation projects to deliver the ambitions and targets in the NZC Action plans.

You will have a track record of delivering complex multi-stakeholder projects, ideally in a not-for-profit environment with and understanding of environmental and climate issue. An understanding of how these issues affect the Church of England would be beneficial.

Why do we need this role?
Anti Racist Cumbria exists to make Cumbria an anti-racist county. That’s our aim. If we’re serious about doing that we need everyone (or more people than not) to want that too, and to work with us to make that happen. And yes, that means we need the young people who live here to be a part of that too.
Your job isn’t to run the projects, although there might be some of that at the the start whilst you get things moving (there’s more about that below), your job is to manage them via actions like:

You’re not a youth worker, you’re a manager of projects that are driven by youth workers and led by young people.
Main duties and responsibilities
Your job will be to build and coordinate projects that the young people want to do in creative ways, and to ensure that the projects meet our aim of becoming an anti-racist county. There is a current team of part time, self employed youth workers who do not work set hours or set days, so a big part of your job will be to work out what you need in terms of people and resources for projects, then work to deliver on that. The projects that you’re overseeing are with, and for, young people, so sessions will naturally take place during evenings, possibly at weekends, during school holidays and sometimes overnight (residentials) in a variety of settings. So you will need to be prepared for varied and often unsociable hours when projects are forming and during their life spans.
It’s also important to understand that although this is a project management role, initially as you start out, it will inevitably involve meeting and engaging with lots of young people. As projects begin to be created you’ll therefore need to be a key part of the delivery team and working directly with the young people. That means you will be delivering for a while as you get things off the ground, but longer term we envision you stepping back from direct delivery once things are up and running smoothly. So if working directly with young people is NOT your thing, even for a short period of time, this isn’t the role for you. Equally if working directly with young people and ONLY working directly with young people is your bag, again this job isn’t for you.
