Are you a skilled and knowledgeable fundraiser who can help us secure the funding we need to ensure that children and young people with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) receive the education they are legally entitled to?
We’re looking for an experienced and ambitious fundraiser who is keen to develop their skill set across the fundraising mix and looking for an opportunity with strategic input. Making applications to trusts and foundations to secure grant funding will be the key focus of the role, so you will need to have a successful track record in either trusts and foundations or corporate fundraising with extensive experience of bid writing and stewardship. However, we are keen to develop other income streams over the next few years, particularly corporate partnerships and community fundraising so we are looking for someone who is interested in broadening their expertise.
You will be stepping into a role with an established funding pipeline as we have secured a number of multi-year grants.
You’ll work closely with IPSEA’s CEO and members of the wider management team to identify opportunities, develop relationships and compellingly communicate the need for, and impact of, the work we do.
The role is a full-time position (part-time also considered) that can be office-based, home-based or hybrid, with monthly visits to the IPSEA office in Takeley, Essex and/or London.

About the role:
We are excited to be taking the lead in the London Whole Housing Service Partnership (LWHSP) which will address and enhance the pathways of housing support for women experiencing domestic abuse, from removing them from immediate harm, to enabling recovery and resettlement across all levels of need. The LWHSP are seeking to build on our delivery across 11 East and West London boroughs of the Whole Housing Approach (WHA).
The Housing IDVA will work within a dynamic, fast paced, crisis intervention, advocacy and support service to ensure the voice of survivors informs every stage of the process. You will specialise in working with clients for whom housing, and risk of tenancy breakdown is a factor. You will work within the team to make proactive contact and provide high quality advocacy and support based upon a client led needs and risk assessment to women, focusing on working with those aged 18 and over who access the domestic abuse service. You will hold a caseload of survivors and will also be required to work as part of Advance’s duty team on a rota basis which will involve completing intake assessments and providing crisis intervention support.
About You:
As a Housing IDVA, you will need to have a degree of flexibility for colocation work across London boroughs; providing support to women who have experienced domestic violence, focusing on individuals with housing or tenancy issues. Working in our fast-paced crisis intervention, advocacy and support service, you’ll ensure the voice of survivors informs every stage of the process. You will have your own caseload of survivors and will focus on working with those aged 18 and over who access our domestic abuse service.
You will bring experience in providing independent domestic violence advocacy and support for women who approach housing advice and assessment for help. Ideally experience in working with housing service providers, and advising women of their rights and options for seeking help and support from other agencies. You will have the ability to develop individual safety and support plans in-line with the clients’ needs and the risks they face.

Partnership Manager - Wales
Location: The role will be based out of the BookTrust Offices in Cardiff. The role
Are you a fundraiser with strong communication skills who enjoys building meaningful and rewarding relationships with mid and high value donors? If so, we have an opportunity to join our Philanthropy and Partnerships team in the newly created role of Philanthropy Officer.
In this role you will support the Philanthropy Manager and Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships in securing new four and five figure multi-year gifts from individuals. Your responsibilities will include day-to-day management and implementation of the mid-value giving strategy, verbal and written presentation of donor funding proposals, prospect research, and account management of your own High Net Worth individual supporters. Much of this role will be involved in the planning, project management and delivery of special major donor events to achieve defined strategic objectives.
About you
You will be an excellent communicator, both orally and written, who is confident in speaking with supporters. You will manage your own pipeline of donors, so will need to take initiative, prioritise and organise your own work, with limited supervision. You may have had experience organising and hosting special events for stewardship and cultivation, but this is not essential.
You will have:
- Excellent customer service skills with a background in major donor, relationship fundraising, direct marketing or a similar role working with High-Net-Worth Individuals.
- Proficiency in verbal and written communication skills with an ability to present ideas creatively and persuasively.
- Confidence soliciting and securing four and five figure gifts from prospective donors, both verbally and in writing.
- Be comfortable managing a pipeline of supporters and presenting strategic planning recommendations based on data and analysis.
- A high standard of administrations skills with strong attention to detail.
- Competency with all standard Microsoft office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience of using a supporter database or CRM

St Joseph’s Hospice has an exciting role on offer within the Volunteers Team. We are seeking an experienced Volunteering Support Officer who, ideally, has previous administration experience and an understanding of working with volunteers and who is able to provide support to volunteering admin across the team. In this role, you will work 37.5 hours per week.
Main Duties
You will be responsible for the day-to-day admin in the team, including applying for volunteers’ references and DBS checks and uploading adverts onto recruitment sites. You will also have an opportunity to assist in volunteer information sessions and training and provide other admin support as needed. To be successful, you will have proven administration, organisation and communication skills, experience of communicating with a diverse range of people, and the ability to work independently. You may also have experience of supporting group workshops and delivering presentations.

We are seeking a dynamic and organised Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting day-to-day office operations and contributing to a welcoming and inclusive environment for all employees and visitors. Reporting to the Executive Director, this is a really important role for the organisation, a small charity with around 20 employees. The primary function of the role is to keep the office running smoothly; you will also be supporting our trustees and governance of the charity, as well as assisting with recruitment and HR administration.
You will be someone who enjoys building productive relationships with people at all levels, both in person and online; the role includes managing our Executive Directors Diary, and organising Trustee meetings, so that will include liaison with our trustees, important funders and partners – a high level of verbal and written communication skills are essential.
The role is based at our offices in Brixton, and because of the nature of the role, it is office-based. We are happy to consider either full time or part time working (a minimum of three days or the equivalent hours.

Areas of Responsibility
Office
Keeping the office tidy and well managed – this includes:
·Support the office by ensuring stocks of tea, coffee and basic stationery are maintained.
·Handling one-off purchase requests for special items.
·Organising team meetings and occasional working lunches.
·Respond to queries and information from the team.
·Working with external IT support for IT problems e.g. sending broken laptops to IT support team.
·Maintaining a record of our laptops and other equipment.
·Being the lead administrator for our CRM system, Zoho, and HR database, Breathe.
·Managing the office email box where we receive general emails, circulating and responding to incoming mail as needed.
·Answering calls to our virtual landline, passing on messages as appropriate.
·Supporting the Executive Director with diary management.
·Assisting the wider team with travel booking.
Governance
·Supporting our trustees, committees and expert advisory group through liaison and scheduling meetings.
·Collating and sending papers out in advance of these meetings.
·Administrative support at meetings.
·Preparing minutes of meetings.
HR
·Support the Team with recruitment, posting jobs, and coordinating interview times and dates.
·Organise onboarding for new employees, including IT provision, DBS checks and induction.
·Supporting HFO with developing the use of our HR Database.
·Ensuring leave, training and basic HR information is accurately recorded.
·Supporting SMT to organise away days, office party, etc.
·Supporting staff wellbeing initiatives.
·Work with the HFO to develop our EDI and other policies.
