Role Context and purpose
Following recent and projected growth of the organisation, Gaddum is looking to recruit additional resource within the Central team to bolster support; ensuring delivery of safe and high-quality services. Gaddum acts as an administrator for smaller trusts and charities, who do not have internal finance teams, and this role will act as the key point of contact for those trusts in delivering financial support. In addition to this, Gaddum also redistributes grant funding – this role is to act as the Finance lead for the financial management of the funding.
The post holder, line managed by the Finance and Resources Director, will join the finance team and work alongside another Finance Assistant responsible for Accounts Payable and Receivable. This is a 28 hours per week role, working flexibly to suit the needs of the organisation and individual.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Trust Funds
• Key point of contact for trusts
• Administration of trust fund applications against agreed policies between Gaddum and the associated trusts
• Coordination and administration of trust meetings on behalf of the organisation and trusts
• Maintaining accurate, timely and relevant written and financial records, pertaining to the administration of the trust funds
• Respond to enquiries and requests by phone, email and in person as required
• To assist with collating and inputting of data, e.g. accounts for reporting periods
• To liaise with referring organisations, referrers and beneficiaries where necessary during the day-to-day administration of trust funds
Grant Funding
• Working with the existing Grant Coordinator in ensuring the regular invoicing of grant funding
• Accurate and timely processing and payment of this funding to organisations within the region
• Maintaining accurate financial information for statutory reporting
• Finance contact for all grant related enquiries
Other Duties and Responsibilities
• To support the Finance Assistant (Accounts Payable & Receivable) in periods of absence
• To meet regularly with Finance & Resources Director for supervisions
• Undertake additional duties within competence of post holds as required by the Finance & Resources Director
• Flexible approach to working patterns and in-office working days

As a Programme Officer, you will be responsible for supporting and enabling the International Programmes at TI-UK (TI Defence and Security and Global Health) to operate efficiently and effectively, by delivering timely, consistent, rigorous operational support and programme administration as needed.
The Programme Officer will report to, work closely with, and receive guidance from the Project Manager to deliver the work effectively within the International Programmes.
What will I be doing?
- Compile and draft programme documentation for internal review, including preparing quarterly and annual progress reports, as well as monthly updates for donors.
- Support the Project Manager in monitoring reporting updates from Chapter partners across West and North Africa, and providing Chapter partners programmatic support as needed.
- Assist team members in identifying, tracking, and reporting on results across international programmes, ensuring all information is accurately compiled and stored in a designated location.
- Work flexibly to maintain the efficient delivery of team priorities by undertaking tasks under the guidance of team members/leads, such as supporting where needed with recruitment and onboarding, organising team meetings, and other ad-hoc programme requirements.
- Provide extensive support to fundraising colleagues at TI-UK and International Programmes by conducting research, and/or mapping of fundraising opportunities, compiling insights from past project learnings and impact evaluations, and drafting fundraising proposals as required, under the guidance of team leads.
- Compiling and maintaining a dedicated fundraising kit for the International Programmes, with support from the Project Manager and relevant fundraising colleagues.
Is the job for me?
To be successful in the role you will have a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Social Sciences, International Development, Management/Business, or related fields.
You will also have some experience and/or proven aptitude and ability to learn quickly in the following professional areas:
- Programme management, project management and/or administration;
- Compiling, following, and managing budgets;
- Coordinating and tracking operational workplans;
- Good initiative and attention to detail
- Conducting fundraising research and compiling insights, drafting fundraising proposals;
- Good communications skills to allow you to work closely with and supporting both colleagues across a diverse team and external stakeholders.

About the Role

The Operations and Projects Officer will provide administrative support for the team. You’ll be supporting the day-to-day running of the Foundation, helping to ensure that everything runs smoothly. Within operations, you’ll provide administrative support on everything from finance and HR to fundraising and supporter care.
As a member of the Stronger Communities team, you’ll also provide support for our work building less lonely, better connected communities across the UK, where everyone feels that they belong. This begins with our current lottery-funded Bridging & Belonging project in Kirklees. About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to lead on an externally funded outreach project providing hard to reach young people with the opportunity to try free boating sessions over the summer holidays.
This is a very varied and rewarding role that requires someone who is self-motivated, organised, creative, tenacious, positive and IT competent with experience in project management.
You need to be able to motivate and inspire your project team, ensuring that the project is on target through continuous monitoring and evaluation. The On The Water Project Coordinator will be responsible for the line management of 3 fixed-term Project Assistants.
Whilst this role is homebased for the majority of the time, it requires the post holder to travel to each of the locations intensively throughout the 5 week delivery period, as well as regular travel for both the planning and evaluation periods. Travel expenses are covered as part of the role.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and ensure the delivery of the On the Water project.
- To manage the temporary Project Assistants at Royal Docks, Midlands and Port Edgar Boat Stations
- Work with the Project Assistants and Growth and Development Workers to enable the effective recruitment of young people, particularly those facing difficulties or disadvantage to the project through recruitment and referrals from local authorities, schools and other relevant bodies
- Devise, plan and implement systems to record and report on the project’s activity, progress and outcomes
- Manage the budget in accordance with the agreed expenditure targets, ensuring that accurate records are maintained
- Ensure the safe and smooth running of delivery in line with all internal policies
- Manage the evaluation, wrap up and future planning of the project
- Ensure the project meets it's targets and funders have timely and accurate reports
- Develop robust monitoring and booking systems and ensure they are rolled out, understood, and used across all 3 sites
Requirements

About this job
This role will coordinate our Breathing Space project in Wales, which supports unpaid carers who support people living with MS to access short breaks. We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced individual who loves working on short-term funded projects and who also loves working directly with the people we support and our volunteers. The ability to communicate to a wide range of audiences and deliver our project objectives will be essential for this role.
Working closely with people affected by MS, Key external partners, the Service and Support Team, the Cymru Director, and the wider MS Society teams. You will be outcome-focused and deliver tangible results. You will need to forge strong partnerships with key stakeholders and represent the MS Society at key meetings and events in the area relating to promoting the project to carers.
This role can be based anywhere in Wales but there will be occasional expectation of travel throughout Wales.
This is a part-time (21 hours) fixed-term role until 28th November 2025 with the possibility of an extension to March 2026.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role.

Purpose
This is an exciting and vital role within the Education Programme of a leading mental health charity focused on supporting the systems around children and young people. Our Education Programme is our body of charitable activity delivering training and resources appropriate for schools, colleges and universities, often working with these education settings to create a whole organisation approach to support children and young people’s mental health.

Key responsibilities and duties
The Project Manager role will help us to deliver our new 3-year strategy and beyond. The role will:
- Work with the Education Programme Manager and a wide range of stakeholders, including the Head of Programmes, mental health trainers and clinicians, to plan, deliver and evaluate both strategic and operational projects:
- Manage the planning and delivery of a range of projects for the Trust from project initiation through to project close.

Build Up is a charity that runs practical construction projects across London, supporting young people aged 10-23 years old to shape their local area. We’re looking for a Programme Manager to join us and lead the delivery of these projects.
The role
You’ll coordinate Build Up’s year-round programme of youth-led design and construction projects, managing two Construction Project Managers to deliver them. You’ll develop project ideas selected by our young people and support our team to set up strong working partnerships. Overseeing Build Up’s pipeline of new projects and working with our fundraisers and partners to bring them to fruition will be central to your role.
Who you are
We’re looking for someone who can work flexibly across projects, balancing immediate and longer term priorities. You’ll have people management experience and be able to delegate and provide extra support when needed. Build Up’s partners include both informal groups and local authorities, so we need someone who’s comfortable setting up effective working relationships with organisations of all sizes. We don’t expect applicants to have design and construction expertise – full supervision is provided by other team members.
