DFN Project SEARCH offer an evidence-based supported internship model which takes place entirely in the workplace.  The programmes provide continuous support to young adults with a learning disability, and autistic people who are aged between 16 – 24 with an Education Health and Care Plan, or equivalent, in their final year of education.

You will be required to identify opportunities to develop and grow DFN Project SEARCH programmes across a geographical area with the aim of supporting the organisation to ensure that as many people as need it have access to DFN Project SEARCH programmes.

In addition, you will be required to develop strategies to ensure that the operational programmes in your area are achieving at least the average outcomes expected for young people in our programmes and so you must be committed to continuous improvement.

You will be specifically required to develop strong partnerships and train and support colleagues within your area. You may also be required to support colleagues promoting DFN Project SEARCH in other areas, further European projects as required and contribute to the development of relevant UK focussed materials.

As a Programme Specialist you will be expected to:

• Demonstrate effective project planning and preparation so that each project delivers achieves the highest quality programme possible and outstanding employment outcomes for the interns.
• Establish effective working relationships with schools, colleges, local authorities, employers and the project professional staff to promote the building of excellent, high quality partnerships at each site to ensure the effective running of programmes and promote sustainability in a volatile environment.

Summary

The Church of England Foundation for Educational Leadership was set up in 2017 with the mission to 'develop inspirational leaders who are called, connected, committed to deliver the Church of England vision for education'. Internal-facing Support:

• Support the Programme Management Team with maintaining the integrity of data within Salesforce.
• Working with the Senior Programme Manager to support the effective programme management and launch of Flourishing Leaders and Teachers.
• Lead on administrative tasks relating to recruitment of Flourishing Leaders and Teachers.
• Event administration for Flourishing Leaders and Teachers, including keeping the calendar up to date, creating online meetings, liaising with staff who will participate, and ensuring Blackboard is updated as needed.
• Support Programme Management Team with preparation of monthly reports, with key updates on recruitment, engagement and quality assurance.
• Admin support within the Programme Delivery teams, including setting up online forms, managing the inboxes, Salesforce reporting and other.

External-facing Support:

• Providing first-line support within the queries arising from our inboxes.
• Support Learning Technology team with administration, including providing assistance with online events.
• Support applicants with any queries relating to the application process and IT support. Also support with liaising with participant sponsors to ensure their administration is completed.
• Supporting the quality team to track the onboarding of Coaches and Facilitators for the Flourishing Programmes, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to the deadline.

The Baby Charter is a national accreditation programme being undertaken by most neonatal units in the UK. Ramblers walk leadership programme increases the skills and confidence of people from diverse backgrounds to lead walks, enabling more people to benefit from group walks. As a member of the Programmes team, the Programme Lead (Walk Leadership) will be responsible for the successful development and delivery of the programme across GB.

Key responsibilities

• Lead on the design, development and operational delivery of the Walk Leadership programme across GB.

• Lead high quality professional development and school improvement programmes in our Pathway programmes and Open Learning for groups of teachers. These may be delivered in person, online or in school. 

• Deliver transformative consultancy support, working with teachers and school leaders to design and implement bespoke improvement plans for their oracy provision, including through in school and online consultancy support, and one-to-one advice.

• Build credibility and purposeful relationships with programme participants, both at programme days and touchpoints, and on an on-going basis to drive impact in our schools.

• Lead high quality professional development and school improvement programmes in our Pathway programmes and Open Learning for groups of teachers. These may be delivered in person, online or in school. 

• Deliver transformative consultancy support, working with teachers and school leaders to design and implement bespoke improvement plans for their oracy provision, including through in school and online consultancy support, and one-to-one advice.

Purpose of the Job 

Hammersmith, Fulham, Ealing and Hounslow Mind deliver a range of services for children and young people from 5+. We have two Mental Health Support Teams (MHSTs), and some specialist inclusion, community, creative and partnership work. We are looking for someone to look after and manage our programmes that support inclusion for children, young people and families throughout our boroughs for a one year maternity cover (depending on start date).  You will ensure that our specialist inclusion services continue to grow and work to support the development of new inclusion programmes. Children and young people with special educational needs, neurodiversity and disabilities will continue to be the priority for this role, and you will work closely with our existing services to ensure they meet the additional needs of the communities we serve.

Job Summary

The role includes:

• Line management to specialist ASC/LD practitioners; assistant psychologists and music/creative based programme team
• Support the wider team and organisation to ensure all provision is inclusive and meets additional needs
• Develop our SEND and inclusion programme within the MHST, and throughout CYP Services
• Overseeing and developing our trauma-informed approach to work
• Build and hold relationships with the Local Authority (in particular Hammersmith and Fulham), local schools (especially SEND and alternative provision) and communities who may not access mental health services.
• Tailor services to reach young people who may be disengaged from school, have specific additional needs or diagnoses.
• Liaise with commissioners within the NHS and other funders

Person specification:

Knowledge & Experience

• At least 3 years’ experience of supporting young people with a variety of needs, including neurodiversity or learning disabilities, ideally within a mental health context
• A related professional qualification and registration (but please consider applying without this qualification if you have extensive experience)
•  At least 2 years’ of management experience within a relevant service
• Detailed understanding of the mental health needs of children and young people from a range of under-served communities
• Experience of working on (ideally managing) a commissioned service within a Third Sector Organisation

Purpose of the role

Reporting to the Head of Operations and working collaboratively with the Partnerships Project Manager, the Programme Delivery Officer will play a crucial role in the day-to-day programme management of the organisation’s programmes and partnership delivery.

As a Programme Officer, you will be responsible for supporting and enabling the International Programmes at TI-UK (TI Defence and Security and Global Health) to operate efficiently and effectively, by delivering timely, consistent, rigorous operational support and programme administration as needed.

The Programme Officer will report to, work closely with, and receive guidance from the Project Manager to deliver the work effectively within the International Programmes.

What will I be doing?

• Compile and draft programme documentation for internal review, including preparing quarterly and annual progress reports, as well as monthly updates for donors.
• Support the Project Manager in monitoring reporting updates from Chapter partners across West and North Africa, and providing Chapter partners programmatic support as needed.
• Assist team members in identifying, tracking, and reporting on results across international programmes, ensuring all information is accurately compiled and stored in a designated location.
• Work flexibly to maintain the efficient delivery of team priorities by undertaking tasks under the guidance of team members/leads, such as supporting where needed with recruitment and onboarding, organising team meetings, and other ad-hoc programme requirements.
