Respect is a pioneering UK membership organisation in the domestic abuse sector.

It is an exciting time to be joining us. Respect will be celebrating 25 years in 2025. We have been through a period of growth over the last five years and are stronger than ever. We work closely with our members and sister organisations in the violence against women and girls sector, and we are proud of the practice expertise we have built over the last two and a half decades and of our pioneering projects and partnerships. Our key priority is to stop perpetrators of domestic abuse from causing harm, and we also have a role supporting male victims through our Men’s Advice Line.

We are seeking a Fundraising Manager to help us develop our fundraising programme and raise the funds we need to deliver the aims in our five-year strategy Stopping the Harm and ensure the ongoing sustainability of our organisation.

Our new Fundraising Manager will be flexible, creative and ambitious.  We are looking for someone who is passionate about our cause, has a tried and tested, successful approach to diversifying income streams, and can bring our fundraising to life through effective framing and storytelling.

This is vital role which will sit within our Operations team. The post-holder will work closely with Respect’s Director of Operations and the Executive Leadership team (ELT) to develop and deliver our fundraising strategy with some administrative support from the Operations team. 

Alongside traditional trusts and foundations, we are looking to expand our funding portfolio and are keen to explore new corporate partnerships and identify high net worth individuals. We recognise that success is not only achieving a fundraising target, but also about building new, strategic relationships. In this role, we will provide the space for the post holder to cultivate, prospect and steward new and existing funders.

We’re looking for a youth worker to lead our weekly educational youth club programme in Bournemouth. Delivered in partnership with International Care Network (ICN), sessions take place on a weekly basis between 4.30-7.30pm throughout the year including school holidays.

The role is six hours a week (three hours on a Wednesday at Club Class plus three hours a week for planning/prep/meetings).

Main purpose of the role:

The youth worker will plan, deliver and facilitate educational and cultural activities to separated children (16-21 years old) in the context of an interactive youth club held weekly in partnership with the ICN in Bournemouth. Although you will prepare and deliver the materials, you will be supported by our youth support worker and ICN support worker during the actual Club Class session. Plus one support worker from ICN and one staff member from Bournemouth, Christchurch, Poole local authority (BCP LA) – usually a personal advisor or social worker.

Main duties:

• Research, plan and devise educational activities/classes for the weekly sessions based on our Club Class framework
• Deliver and facilitate the weekly Club Class with the support of our youth support worker and the ICN support worker.
• Source outside facilitators on occasion (on a voluntary basis) to deliver specialist sessions 
• Ensure sessions are young people-led and participants have an opportunity to input into future Club Class sessions using our participatory feedback mechanism 
• Provide emotional support and guidance to the group (please note this is not a casework role), referring individual young people to their case worker where one-to-one support is required.
• Ensure the highest level of safeguarding for the young people attending with adherence to The Separated Child Foundation’s safeguarding policy
• Work with the Programme Manager to evaluate Club Class with participants to ensure the sessions are appropriate and relevant to their needs, and propose amendments and improvements to the Club Class framework as required
• Gather feedback (anonymised where necessary) from participants to populate social media, support funding bids and include in programme management reporting
• Provide line manager with regular feedback on the sessions and future plans during routine catch up calls and Programme Manager in-person visits

Person Specification:

• Experience in planning and delivering youth-led interactive group workshops using varied techniques and approaches
• Experience of working with or supporting young people, preferably separated asylum seeking and refugee children and/or young people for whom English is not first language
• Qualification in Youth Work or comparable subject
• Awareness of the needs of young people, preferably separated asylum seeking and refugee children
• Awareness of safeguarding and child protection principles and practice 
• Self-confidence and the ability to approach and engage with young people
• Experience of working with different languages, cultures and/or social backgrounds
• A competence in use of basic IT skills such as use of PowerPoint

Our Finance Manager is an essential part of the LRMN team. You will work with colleagues to set and manage budgets, maintain accurate financial records, manage all donor management activities, oversee our banking and ensure all financial and compliance requirements are met. LRMN is a thriving organisation and one of the most established refugee and migrants’ organisations providing services in London but focusing on south and southeast London boroughs. Our services include provision of specialist legal advice and information on immigration, housing and welfare, therapeutic and practical support to women who survived trauma, helping our service users access employment, training and volunteering opportunities, prevention of mental health problems, and helping our clients integrate and engage in their community.

We are currently working in a hybrid model. You would be expected to work at least one to two days/week from our office in Deptford.

Job Title: Partnerships Engagement Coordinator (Inspiring the Future)

Reports to: Partnerships Manager

Location: Quantum House, 22 – 24 Red Lion Court, Fleet Street, EC4A 3AB. The role is open to hybrid working but the candidate would be expected to be in the office one day per week

Purpose: This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a newly created post in the role of Partnerships Engagement Coordinator for Education and Employers on the internationally recognised Inspiring the Future programme. The Charity aims to ensure that all young people have the inspiration, motivation, knowledge, skills and opportunities they need to help them achieve their potential.

This key post is part of the Partnerships Team with responsibility for supporting the team to deliver various showcase virtual and face-to-face events and activities involving a diverse range of volunteers from the world of work. The role is rewarding and varied and will include supporting delivery of funded partnerships and general administrative support. 

Remuneration: £24-25k per annum

Additional Terms: 30 days paid holiday, exclusive of Statutory Holiday plus competitive pension scheme and a volunteering allowance of up to 5 days – pro rata in accordance with the length of contract. Additional family friendly benefits including enhancements to Statutory Payments.

Job Purpose:

Reporting to the Partnerships Manager and working closely with colleagues in the Partnerships Team, the Partnerships Engagement Coordinator is responsible for working closely with volunteers and school staff to support successful delivery of interactive activities aimed at schools and young people under key funded projects for the charity’s Inspiring the Future and Primary Futures programmes. These programmes leverage technology to raise the aspirations and broaden the horizons of children and young people by connecting them to a huge range of volunteers from the world of work via career related learning activities.

The Partnerships team are responsible for relationship management of the key corporate and charity partners for the charity’s Inspiring the Future and Primary Futures programmes. Partners cover a range of sectors and employment areas and our employer partnerships provide partners employees with the opportunity to engage with schools, and reach many children and young people across the UK, both virtually and in-person.

This role will be split between supporting organisation of activities related to our corporate partners and delivering activities to schools across parts of the country. There is opportunity to interface directly with children and young people from both secondary and primary schools. through facilitating virtual and in person interactive activities with volunteers.

Education and Employers is a small charity working at a rapid pace to bring about change. This is a dynamic role for someone looking to gain a breadth of experience in the charity sector and keen to learn about the education sector and career-related learning, social mobility and volunteer engagement.  We are looking for someone passionate about motivating and inspiring children who relishes working with a range of stakeholders to create impactful activities.

The Engagement Coordinator will work closely with the Partnerships Manager, Partnership Events Lead and wider Inspiring the Future team. This role will work on partnerships including but are not limited to the Department for Transport’s Inspiring Aviation Campaign, Maritime UK Ambassadors, and events associated with employer partnerships such as Bank of America, Tritax Big Box, Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust and others.

• Providing administrative support across the team, including record-keeping, responding to incoming enquiries, data entry, meeting minute-taking, scheduling, event coordination, etc
• Monitoring new event registrations from schools and sending welcome emails, keeping this up to date with the latest opportunities and messaging for schools
• Supporting the engagement of employers and volunteers in special activities within funded projects.
• Tracking and reporting back to Partnership Manager and Events Lead on delivery against agreed targets
• Using Salesforce CRM to support with data management, assisting with maintaining up to date records and supporting data cleansing as needed
• Recruiting and engaging schools according to the geographic or sector focus of a funded partnership
• Setting up virtual and face-to-face activities including school liaison, securing volunteers, organising events via the Inspiring the Future system and hosting on tech platforms (Zoom, MS Teams etc)
• Facilitating interactive virtual and face to face activities to connect pupils with volunteers through themed sessions, Q&A or job guessing-game format.
• Supporting and co-hosting teacher training sessions, staff meetings and info webinars to promote Inspiring the Future and encourage engagement and independent usage of the platform.

About the Role

Fundraising and philanthropic advocacy are at the heart of GiveOut’s work. As Senior Philanthropy Officer, you will be a key member of the Philanthropy team, implementing a vital part of our philanthropy programme as we deliver our growth strategy.
 

You will identify, engage, cultivate and steward major donors (high net worth individuals) and charitable foundations to secure high value gifts and grants, grow long term strategic relationships in support of the LGBTQI movement, grow GiveOut's network, and provide a top quality donor experience. 

Working closely with the Head of Philanthropy, you will support them on shaping and executing strategy and work planning, coordinating the donor database and leading on related internal processes, and deputising for the Head externally.

We are open to full time or part time (pro rata) at a minimum of 24 hours, or equivalent to 3 days per week. We are also open to flexible working arrangements to be discussed. Occasional evenings or weekends out of hours will be required, such as for networking or GiveOut hosted events, for which time off in lieu will be granted.

• Donor and Partner Engagement

  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of major donors and trusts & foundations

Essential Skills and Experience

• Passion for GiveOut’s mission to grow giving for LGBTQI rights and a commitment to advancing LGBTQI rights worldwide.

• Proven experience and success in non-profit fundraising, including individual giving

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders

• Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.

• Proficiency with fundraising software and databases

Desirable Skills and Experience

• Experience of major donor fundraising with a track record of initiating new relationships and securing four to five figure gifts.

• Experience of securing grants from Trusts & Foundations with a track record of initiating new relationships and securing five to six figure grants. 

• Experience of running cultivation and/or fundraising events 

• Understanding of budgeting and financial forecasting.

• Familiarity with Google Workspace tools, event management tools (e.g. Eventbrite)

This year we launch a new three-year programme to achieve one of those key aims – raising the status of the early education profession, and we need a Campaign Manager to help us drive that work. 

About the role

• Hours: 30 hours (4 days per week). Some out-of-hours work may be required for which TOIL will be given. 

• Duration: Two-year contract with possible extension subject to funding. 

• Location: Homeworking, but within easy reach of London 

• Salary: £48,000 per annum FTE (£38,400 pro-rata) 

Although we work remotely with a team that is spread nationwide, this role does require someone that is based in or close to London in order to deliver our Westminster programme of activities.

We work flexibly and it won’t come as a surprise to you that we understand the challenge of caring commitments. We trust you to manage your time, but we do expect that most of your hours are worked during standard office hours so that we can collaborate as a team and engage with our coalition partners. Our core working day is a Thursday. As a fully remote team this helps us to stay in touch and connect. 

This role is initially offered on a two-year fixed term basis which we expect to renew in line with funding and is offered at four days per week. If you have a preferred working pattern, please speak to us and we would be happy to see if we can make it work. 

The Coalition has experienced significant growth over the last two years and with early years firmly on the political agenda, we expect this to continue. Our hope is that this role will evolve and the successful candidate will continue to progress within this growing and impactful organisation. 

For the last two years, the Coalition has been incubated by the Women’s Budget Group, the UK’s leading feminist economic think tank. Our growth means that we are now ready to spin out into a separate and independent legal entity. That means that your employment contract will initially be with WBG on behalf of the Coalition but will then transfer across to the newly constituted organisation. This won’t change your role, your terms or your pay, but we want to tell you now. We are happy to answer questions at interview about that. 

What you can expect to be doing 

• Whilst the coalition currently has almost 40 core member organisations who shape our policy and lead on our shared campaigns, we are looking to grow our network of supporter organisations – these are partners who share our belief in the value of early education and childcare even if they do not work directly in early years policy. The Campaign Manager will lead a new project to identify, onboard, engage and grow this supporter network, ensuring they remain up to date with the latest research produced by the Coalition and its partners. 

• With the support of the Head of Advocacy and our external comms partner, develop a new narrative to raise the profile of the early education workforce and deliver a series of campaign moments across paid, earned and owned media to support this work. 

• Deliver ongoing comms and campaign projects designed to grow the coalition’s profile across a range of stakeholders. 

• Analyse and scope political developments related to the early education and childcare workforce, identifying opportunities to engage and influence. 

• Support the organisation of Coalition in person and online events. 

• Engage collaboratively with Coalition members to coordinate and amplify their collective and individual voices and work. 

• Support with the creation, writing and publication of communication materials including blogs, case studies, press releases and research reports. 

• Work with our research partners to drive the aims of the programme. 

About you 

You will be creative, resourceful and highly effective at building relationships across a wide range of stakeholders. Above all else, you’ll be as passionate as our members about the opportunity that the early years holds for children, families and wider society. 

You will play a pivotal role in driving the aims of our new programme, delivering campaign moments that raise the status of early educators while amplifying our emerging research from this programme, and activating new messaging and narratives. 

With the support of our Head of Advocacy & Communications, you will grow our network of supporters, securing the backing of organisations from across civil society, the business community and the public sector for our shared aims. 

Ideally you will have a good working knowledge of the challenges facing the sector and a good understanding of key influencers in this space including think tanks, MPs and journalists.

You will be a confident communicator with strong writing skills and an eye for detail. The right candidate will be comfortable working in a small team where we all muck-in and benefit from each other’s skills.

Role Purpose

The Operations Director is a critical leadership role responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective running of all operational aspects of Katherine Low Settlement. This role oversees the day-to-day operational leadership of the charity, ensuring that its systems, processes, and teams are aligned with strategic objectives and compliant with relevant legislation.

The School:

Merchant Taylors’ School is a large Independent Boys’ School, situated in 280 acres of parkland in Northwood, Middlesex.  The School was founded in 1561, is owned by the Merchant Taylors’ Educational Trust and moved to its present site in 1933. Fundraising

· Developing and innovating the school’s regular giving programme, the Merchant Taylors’ Fund, to ensure a consistent income stream and increased participation from alumni, parents and friends.

The Role

Global Greengrants Fund UK is looking to hire an energetic and passionate individual who will play a key role in leading the finance function. The Head of Finance reports to the Director of Finance and Operations (DFO) and is responsible for the ensuring the smooth day to day operations of the finance function, including maintaining and ensuring accuracy of organisation's financial records, supporting all financial strategies and financial operations. They will also play a key role in understanding and managing program/project funding (both restricted and unrestricted) and collaborate with the Programme Funding Manager ensuring effective tracking of restricted and unrestricted income and expenditure within GGF.

The ability to leverage Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks and other financial tools (policies, processes and software) will be crucial in optimising our financial systems and improving processes.

The candidate profile.

The successful applicant will have significant relevant experience in a similar role in a charitable, environmental, development, social justice, feminist, gender, human rights organisation, and/or grant-making organisation. The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled and experienced finance professional with a relevant accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or AAT) experience in the charity or non-profit sector. They will value transparency and accountability, demonstrating strong critical thinking and, strategic risk management. They will have a deep understanding of UK GAAP accounting principles and a strong background in financial management, including budgeting, financial controls, grant processing, and audit preparation. Proficiency in financial systems, particularly QuickBooks Advanced or similar accounting software, as well as advanced Excel skills, is essential. The candidate will be highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of prioritising workloads in a fast-paced and evolving environment. With a proven ability to oversee financial processes, implement automation strategies, and manage treasury functions, they will also be confident in providing financial insights and risk assessments to senior leadership. Experience working in an international organisation and knowledge of exchange rate risk management would be advantageous. We have 5 full time and 5 part time contracted staff members, 18 freelance staff members and work with 17 volunteers. 400 – 500 young people per year benefit from our life changing services; our hope is that this will increase to 700+ per year from 2027 once the building project at our site is complete. We have ambitious longer term plans for growth.

We have been operating in North London for over 10 years from a small stables, after our lease sadly came to an end in January 2023 we moved to our long term home. This was a derelict stables owned by the Council which we have secured via a 25 year lease. In 2022-23 we raised £300,000 to get the site usable as an equine therapy centre although it is still very run down with much of it boarded up an derelict. We now have full planning permission to develop the site and build a purpose built equine therapy centre which will allow us to double the number of young people who access the space.

About the Role:

To make this dream a reality we are looking for an experienced Capital Fundraising Manager to lead the Capital fundraising campaign for this project to raise £700,000 over 2 years in order to fund this build.

The hope is to raise £350,000 in year one in order to fund half of the build (stage 1) with the remaining funding being secured in the 2nd year to complete the build in year 2. We have a strong track record of fundraising including recently securing 5 years core costs funding from the National Lottery Community Fund and we have warm relationships that we can call on once this fundraising campaign gets activated.

Experience of successfully managing capital funding appeals with a proven track record of securing significant funds from high net-worth individuals, corporate organisations and grant making organisations.

Self-motivated and able to confidently lead on fundraising projects including:

• Creating capital fundraising strategy
• Generating a capital fundraising pipeline
• Reporting efficiently on progress

The ability to proactively manage stakeholders from across SLTH to ensure all are involved and their personal networks are utilised in this campaign.
This will include:

• Working alongside the 2 CEO’s to develop a strategy and to utilise existing contacts and warm leads
• Working closely with the Marketing Manager to ensure fundraising materials and pitch decks are high quality
• Engaging staff, volunteers and supporters in the campaign
• Manage fundraising pipeline and presenting a progress updates to the board if required
• Creating a relationship with one of our HNW funders who has connections with other HNW individuals and corporations
• The Equestrian Management Agency (who support us as their partner charity and are invested in making this fundraising campaign a success)

 Workforce

• Maintain a positive culture within the Centre in line with the London Irish Centre values and expectations.
• Overall responsibility for management, development, motivation, support and appraisal of the community services teams, and other team members when agreed with the line manager.
• Maintain and implement effective policies and processes for managing staff and volunteers, including recruitment and retention, induction, training and appraisals. 
• Ensure adequate and appropriately skilled staffing of the community services team.
• Monitor performance against budgets, targets and Key Performance Indicators.
• Ensure best practice and quality assured delivery of Community Services and Programmes.

Financial 

• Overall responsibility for management and reporting of community services budget.

Income generation
