We are looking for an organised, proactive and purpose-driven individual to join our brilliant team as an Admin and Operations Assistant. You will provide essential support to our team, ensuring smooth and efficient administrative operations. MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Meeting & Event Planning and Support
- Plan, coordinate and support meetings and other events
- Book rooms, manage catering orders and manage other meeting logistics
- Provide on-site support for meetings and events
- Prepare meeting agendas, take meeting notes and minutes
- Assist with volunteer coordination
Communication & Coordination
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and other communications
- Draft correspondence to external stakeholders and trustees
- Help to ensure that the website is up to date
Operations Support
- Support the day-to-day operations of the charity
- Assist Head of Operations in developing systems and processes to enhance the efficiency of the charity’s operations
- Help update organisational policies and ensure compliance
- Monitor 3rd party contracts and assist with review of services prior to renewals
- Help manage HR practices, including managing starters and leavers procedure in relation to IT and software access
- Support employee training and wellbeing programme
Office & Project Management
- Ensure office has working equipment and sufficient materials
- Organise and maintain our internal documents
- Help maintain and improve LLST’s internal databases
- Help maintain contact database in line with data protection and LLST policy
Financial & Procurement Assistance
- Assist with the gathering, review and processing of invoices and expenses claims
- Support the Head of Operations in evaluating suppliers and negotiating contracts
- Research suppliers to ensure cost-effective purchasing
- Perform due diligence checks on suppliers and vendors
- Help with the preparation of financial reports
General
- Ensure LLST’s activities comply with charity, company and general law
- Promote LLST externally and ensure its good reputation is maintained

Qualifications & Experience

Key Responsibilities
Spear Programme
- Lead group sessions of up to 10 young people, using coaching skills to transform their mindsets, and to maximise their potential in stepping into the world of work.
- Prepare and deliver coaching sessions on a weekly basis and find creative ways of developing ongoing relationships with Spear trainees. This includes running application workshops with past trainees as well as maintaining records and reporting on statistics.
Relationship Management
- Build and manage relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including referrers, local businesses, and other organisations.
- You will support with job fairs, mock interview days and welcoming external visitors to the centre.
Church Community
- The Assistant Coach is directly employed by River Church, meaning you are part of a vibrant church staff team and submerged in an exciting faith community.
- Help to raise the profile of the Spear programme within River Church and build a network of supporters and volunteers from the congregation.
This role will suit you if you are:
- An active Christian, able to personally represent the values and beliefs of Resurgo and River Church, Ipswich.
- Passion for social justice and for working as part of the church to transform communities, especially supporting young people in employment or education.
- Confident communication and interpersonal skills, both over telephone and face to face; particularly a confidence in group facilitation.

The Communications Assistant’s responsibilities include:
Digital Marketing
• Help to manage the departmental content and marketing calendar
• Create, schedule, and post engaging content across all Chance to Shine social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
• Lead on our social media community engagement – responding to messages/replies, moderating where necessary and pinpointing relevant conversations
• Draft and design newsletters and email campaigns to engage key audiences such as supporters, teachers and coaches
Website and Digital Operations
· Produce content for the CTS website
· Support with content and development of CTS Portal
Other Responsibilities
· Support with copywriting for a variety of publications such as newsletters, event programmes and impact reports
· Lead on the maintenance of the digital photo archive
· Assist with the logistical planning and execution of Chance to Shine events, ensuring all materials and resources are prepared.

Purpose of the Job
Hammersmith and Fulham, Ealing and Hounslow Mind have secured funding from the National Lottery Community Fund to deliver a new outreach programme, designed to increase awareness and access to mental health support for children, young people (CYP) and families from underserved communities, or who may not be able to travel to use our services. This key new post will focus on engaging parents and carers to increase their understanding of mental health, grow confidence in supporting their children, and to navigate the landscape of available services.
Job Summary
- Launching a parental peer support group offered at our Circle café in Ealing and in the other community-based locations.
- Developing engaging and accessible resources that increase awareness and understanding of CYP and parental mental health issues.
- Upskill HFEH Mind practitioners on engaging with parents from diverse communities who do not currently access our support.
- Work alongside detached community workers to attend community groups and partner agencies.
- Create and manage partnerships with local community groups.
- Training of parental champions, who conduct awareness raising in the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop the parental-based provision offered by HFEH Mind, including parental peer support group and champions’ programmes.
- Use trauma informed approaches (e.g., ARC, Tree of Life) to support CYP and their parents and carers.
- Develop partnerships with local community agencies for the purposes of joint working and outreach.
- Help CYP and parents to overcome logistical challenges to accessing support.
- Participate in a mapping exercise of local communities, languages and knowledge of mental health.
- Signpost anyone accessing the provision to appropriate and local on-going support; and build up your knowledge and networks of such support.
- Deliver interventions at our Circle and community settings.
- Meet the KPIs and complete outcome measurements required by our funder and in order to improve and develop our support.
- Work with the Fundraising department to support ideas for new funding.
- Work alongside our young advisors and parental support group to ensure new ideas for engagement are co-produced.
- Understand and implement safeguarding procedures, and be familiar with safeguarding law, and how it applies to our work.
- Document work done on our database, and ensure that service user feedback can be recorded, and can provide evidence of our effectiveness.
You will have:
- At least 2 years of experience of working with CYP and parents, with an understanding of mental health.

An exciting role where you’ll be supporting a range of third-party Challenge Events and participants’ fundraising efforts. The fundraising team is at the core of the charity and works together to maximise opportunities and raise funds from a range of sources.
The Challenge Events programme has continued to strengthen in recent years, with huge demand
seen across third-party running events such as the London Marathon and Great North Run, plus a growing number of runners in international marathons, including Berlin, Chicago and Sydney. The Challenge team’s role is to fill our allocated places in third-party events efficiently; nurture and support our participants to fundraise as much as possible; and ensure they enjoy the whole event experience from place allocation, through to their training and fundraising, to crossing the finish line!
Reporting to the Challenge Events Manager, the postholder will provide high quality day-to-day operational and administrational support across the Challenge Event Programme as well as supporting in-person Challenge Events, such as the London Marathon (April) and Great North Run (September).
For you to support these events, you will be required to attend the office in Cheltenham around 1-2 days per week, and more often during busy periods. You will ideally support a minimum of 2 events per year which take place across weekends and require travelling in the UK (22-27th April and 6-8th September 2025). In order to compensate for this, we offer a flexible TOIL policy.

We are looking for a Senior Evidence and Evaluation Manager to work in a dedicated Impact and Evidence directorate, working at the heart of Youth Futures Foundation. You will be central to our ambition to create the largest repository of robust evidence and evaluations of what works to support young people into good jobs. In the directorate, you will work with two Heads of Evaluation and the Deputy Director and Director to ensure all Youth Futures’ investments are designed to provide robust evidence of what works.
The Senior Evidence and Evaluation Manager will primarily lead on the design, commissioning, and management of evaluations and evidence generation, including new large scale evaluation projects launching in 2025 as well as a portfolio of existing large-scale and complex evaluations.
You will also work with Impact & Evidence and Policy colleagues to help develop new programmes to improve the evidence base on supporting young people into good work by, for example, working with partners able to run larger scale trials.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Events Assistant with excellent communication, organisational and customer service skills to support our busy programme of workshops, webinars, conferences and bespoke events. You will work closely with our Learning Programme Officer and liaise with our partners and associates to organise online workshops and events. You will act as the first point of contact for our participants, ensuring that their details are accurately recorded in our events database and manage all communication with them so they receive accurate event information. Key accountabilities:
- Supporting the administration and setting up of online meetings, webinars, seminars and conferences (for up to 1000 participants).

- Communicating with facilitators, participants and senior staff, in a positive and professional manner.
- Updating customer and events databases; providing reports and information using these.
