ABOUT THE ROLE

Main purpose of the role:
You will support the HR Coordinator to successfully undertake all of L’Arche London’s HR responsibilities along with other office administration duties as required.
The HR Administrator is responsible for:
- Attend to all aspects of recruitment, onboarding and communication with applicants, candidates, and newly appointed colleagues.
- Provide generalist HR advice and support for first line queries from managers, team members and external stakeholders including members of the public, in a timely and efficient manner.
- Collect, record and monitor HR information, including but not limited to absences, starters and leavers, vacancies, probationary and annual reviews, and to produce HR reports for same as required.
- Draft and maintain a series of templates and letters that adhere to current HR best practice and L’Arche’s policies and procedures.

What the job involves
Our Events and Community Fundraising team raises funds for Prostate Cancer UK through a programme of owned products, activities and events, in addition to third-party challenges. Alongside our two owned events, March for Men and the Grand Depart Classic, we also recruit teams in events such as the TCS London Marathon, Great North Run and the London Landmarks Half Marathon.
In this role, you’ll project manage a number of third-party events which take place across the UK, including our teams at the Brighton Marathon, Edinburgh Marathon Festival and Great North Run. You’ll also be tasked with identifying new opportunities across the UK in the charity events market.
This role will cover all aspects from setting budgets, creating a marketing plan, building the supporter communications, organising event logistics, delivering event weekend support, followed by remittance and thanking to ensure we maximise the funds raised from these events. Alongside this, you’ll work with other teams within Prostate Cancer UK to support the full calendar of events and take the lead with supporting our volunteers at our events.
Working with our Communications teams, you’ll ensure that we make the most of every opportunity, from promoting the events to warm and new audiences, identifying and building relationships with the strongest case studies, to ensuring a high proportion of event participants continue to support us after completing their event.

We’re looking for a dedicated person to join our established, experienced and high-performing Events and Community Fundraising team, that has ambitious plans to grow income to £16M+ by 2030. As a team, we work hard to combine our strengths and motivate each other and share a passion for success. You’ll be joining an experienced and supportive team that will help you grow your strengths and support your development.
You’ll have experience of working in a sporting events team with a background of assisting or leading with the delivery of large-scale events, covering aspects such as marketing, communications and event delivery. Ideally with a solid fundraising background to enable you to hit the ground running. You’ll also have excellent communication skills and can motivate and inspire for our cause. Strong organisational skills will be combined with the ability to prioritise a busy workload and work to tight deadlines.
You’ll have the energy and passion to provide crucial input to this sector-leading team. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right person to grow, develop and gain valuable skills and experience in a fundraising role within a progressive and innovative organisation. This varied role will include managing a pipeline of opportunities, researching and liaising with healthcare professionals such as clinicians, researchers, and other key stakeholders to develop compelling requests for support and funding.
The role holder will be a confident self-starter with demonstrable evidence of raising funds from corporates, grant making trusts and foundations, company foundations, public sector funders and lottery bodies. A key aspect of the role will be establishing and maintaining positive relationships with smaller funders (£10k-£100k), ensuring all obligations under grant agreements, such as updates and reporting, are fulfilled in an engaging and timely manner.

This is a brand new post, you will be assisting Company Secretary by providing governance, risk and compliance support including organising the Board of Trustees’, Board sub-committees’ meetings and annual calendars as well as assisting with internal Corporate Services projects.

You will be part of a multi-agency team providing person-centered support focusing on holistically addressing a range of personal wellbeing issues faced by service users referred by the Probation Service. Interventions will focus on addressing the following:
- Support around families and other significant relationships
- Support to reduce social isolation and improve decision-making/lifestyle choices
- Support with emotional wellbeing
- Provide through the gates support for those leaving prison.
You will be part of a comprehensive name of the team/function service delivering across St Giles Trust that is mindful of, and promotes our Vision, Mission, Values, and strategic aims.
We positively encourage applications if you have previously worked on a client-led support project, have had personal adverse experiences such as homelessness, substance misuse, debt, involvement with gangs etc. This will include experience of the criminal justice system, having served a prison sentence, or still be serving a prison sentence in a prison. The role involves supporting the management of HMPPS Contracts delivering Personal Wellbeing services across Wales, based in Wrexham with frequent travel. It requires managing a team, ensuring compliance with performance indicators, and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.
(1) Key Deliverables
- Provide operational management across one or more contracts awarded by the HMPPS to deliver Personal Wellbeing services in Wales.
- Provide leadership and operational management to a team of Personal Wellbeing Coaches (PWBC) and Peer Advisor volunteers employed in the delivery of the contracts.
- Set performance objectives with PWBC’s and monitor progress ensuring compliance with contractual performance indicators and quality improvement, ensuring St Giles Wise partnership meets all its targets and outcomes.
- Monitor and manage all aspects of delivery and performance to ensure compliance with policy and procedures including safeguarding of staff, service users and the wider public.
- Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with local Wales Probation managers and staff as well as other external stakeholders e.g. prison managers, ensuring communication channels are positive and effective.
- Manage partnerships including local and national delivery partners, spot purchase providers and any agencies with whom we are developing referral arrangements.
- Manage and co-ordinate allocated resources including volunteers and spot purchase funds.
- Provide management and oversight of allocated contract budgets.
- Ensure there is a safe and trusting working environment for staff with a culture which is aligned with St Giles Wise values and facilitates a supportive and constructive relationship with service users.

About this exciting opportunity
Working as part of a multi-agency team, you will provide person-centred support to a caseload of service users who will either be serving community sentences or being released from prison. You will undertake assessment and action planning with individual service users, create a safe and trusting environment, using trauma-informed practice to successfully facilitate a supportive and constructive relationship with service users, plus deliver a range of interventions to service users which contribute towards achievement of prescribed outcomes.

Using agreed CRM databases and recording all activity relating to caseload and providing updates and reports are also key duties.

Aspire is a national charity supporting people who have been paralysed by spinal cord injury. Our Assistive Technology team are based within hospitals, working with newly injured patients and ensuring they have access to their phones, tablets and computers.

This role will lead on the strategic development of the London community repair network. Building on the 40+ groups and volunteers that have grown over the last 13 years, you will help to develop and strengthen the network.

Development Officer (Legacies)
Landmark Trust is a leading heritage conservation charity looking for a Development Officer (Legacies) to join the fundraising team in this hybrid working role. Exciting opportunity to help grow an established legacy programme.
Position: Development Officer (Legacies)
Location: Shottesbrooke, near Maidenhead/Hybrid working (3 days per week in the office)
Salary: £30,000 - £33,000 per annum
Hours: Full Time (35 hours per week) flexible working hours considered

The Role
This is a new role created to support and build upon a successful legacies programme, and to develop the potential of in-memory giving. You will be supporting the Development Manager (Legacies) to deliver the legacy marketing programmes, supporter stewardship, and legacy administration.
The varied scope includes delivering projects and communications to promote gifts in wills and in-memory giving, managing the stewardship of your own portfolio of legacy supporters, and assisting with legacy administration when gifts are received. Whilst reporting to the Development Manager you will also work closely with eight other colleagues in the Development team, and others throughout Landmark Trust. Occasional travel will be also required for site visits, meetings and events to engage supporters face to face with our work throughout the UK.
You will work with and support the Development Manager (Legacies) to:
• Deliver an effective strategy for gifts in wills and in memory.
• Meet an agreed annual pledger recruitment target and other mutually agreed KPIs.
• Acknowledge and celebrate gifts in wills to raise awareness throughout the organisation, with its followers, supporters, visitors, staff and volunteers.
• Gather content from colleagues to produce high quality and inspirational updates for legacy supporters and their families.
• Respond to potential enquiries about all types of legacy gifts and gather details about each.
• Plan and run legacy seminars given by a volunteer solicitor, and an annual in-person event for identified legacy supporters.
• Support and champion the promotion of legacy giving through the organisation.
About You
We are seeking a Development Officer (Legacies) to support the development and delivery of the legacies programme for the charity.
You will have:
• Excellent customer/donor care experience with a proven track record of exceptional listening skills.
• Examples of writing marketing or fundraising reports and proposals, updates etc.
• Ability to communicate with different audiences, both verbally and via written communications.
• Methodical and organised approach to tasks with meticulous attention to detail. Ability to plan and prioritise.
• Experience of working to agreed targets, managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
• Self-motivated with the ability to progress several tasks simultaneously and maintain time scales, including when working under pressure.
• Experience of fundraising CRM databases.
• Previous Marketing or Direct Marketing experience. (desirable)
• Evidence of CPD in fundraising, and/or Chartered Institute of Fundraising courses & qualifications. (desirable)
• Previous fundraising experience or experience of gifts in wills or gifts in memory. (desirable)
