THE ROLE
NEA is looking to appoint new Warm and Safe Homes (WASH) Advice Line Co-ordinator posts on a full time (37 hours per week) basis; but we are happy to receive applications from candidates who may wish to work part time hours as we would be prepared to appoint posts as job share opportunities. Please state your preferred working pattern in your application and we will discuss this at interview.
WASH Advice Line Co-ordinators will be the first point of contact for vulnerable householders who are contacting the charity for a range of energy related advice matters. Co-ordinators will need to be empathetic, polite and have good listening skills but may also need you to be assertive and confident in order to provide support to clients, some of whom may be in difficult circumstances.
Whilst call centre or customer service experience will be advantageous, empathy and an ability to understand client needs is paramount and our training will give successful candidates the knowledge to succeed in the role.
The post holder’s main responsibilities will be to deal with customer and partner emails, calls, live chats and off- line tasks. These will include:

Provision of day-to-day support to our customers and partners (referral organisations) on any queries, or issues, through answering telephones calls and emails.

Process, resolve or escalate client queries within the WASH and wider team in line with the internal process.

As a WASH Advice Line Co-ordinator, you’ll be in the front line of the provision of solutions to client queries and issues as part of a wider team.

Maintenance of appropriate client records and necessary data using client management systems to ensure the progress of work towards project targets is monitored and that project outcomes are fully recorded.
The post holders will be responsible for the delivery of a range of projects which will demonstrate good practice in delivery of affordable warmth for low income and vulnerable householders.
The posts sit within the Communities Directorate and are part of a dynamic and caring team of professionals who go the extra mile to support their clients, some of whom may be in difficult circumstances.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
You should be able to demonstrate understanding or experience of energy efficiency, you will be empathetic and be a good listener – as well as demonstrable experience of responding to the needs of clients in direct contact settings. You will have the ability to work with a wide range of people and demonstrable experience of working with vulnerable householders, low income and/or other disadvantaged groups.
You will need excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with a range of communities and individuals.
An awareness of the environmental, social and economic problems of deprived areas and the roles of the public, private and voluntary sectors in tackling them, is desirable, although not essential.
NEA has several office locations throughout England, Wales and Northern Ireland, and welcomes applicants from all regions. Home working and office-based locations are available depending on proximity to a NEA office. Preferences will be discussed with candidates at interview. Post holders must be resident within the UK and be able to provide their Right to Work in the UK. At Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice, we care for children and young people whose lives are just too short. Our aim is to reach every family that needs our help and to offer them the very best choice of care. Did you know that every year we need to raise £6.5m to keep our doors open and only around 16% of our income comes from government sources, the rest has to be raised through fundraising activity.
Our services include short overnight stays and community breaks at home or in the hospice. We also support the whole family from diagnosis with our multi-disciplinary Family Support team who provide counselling, sibling support groups, music therapy and much more. Our care team support these families in our modern, purpose-built building. All our rooms bedrooms have a homely feel. We have a sensory room, spa pool, cinema room and six acres of gardens.
We support families from a large geographical area, including South Yorkshire, North Nottinghamshire, North Derbyshire and parts of North Lincolnshire. The hospice is easily accessible from Barnsley, Rotherham, Doncaster, Sheffield and North Notts. We have free secure on-site parking for families and staff to use.

As the Data Insight Officer, you will:
· Analyse donor data to identify trends, patterns, and income-generation opportunities.
· Provide actionable insights to inform fundraising strategies and campaigns.

About the team
The Philanthropy and Partnerships team at Impetus is a friendly, driven team that is passionate about building fantastic relationships with a variety of funders that lead to meaningful outcomes for the young people we serve. The Head of Engagement role sits within the wider Philanthropy and Partnerships team, working alongside colleagues driving forward philanthropic income generation and donor retention. It plays a critical role in the stewardship of our partnerships and provides our funders with the chance to give their time and expertise as well as their financial contributions.
As Impetus embarks on a new five-year strategy, we are driving forward our ambition to grow our income and support more young people. A key element in achieving this ambition is sustaining a high-performing engagement programme which will support our fundraising activities. This is therefore an exciting time to be joining the team to help us meet our goals and continue transforming the lives of young people.
About this role
We’re looking to recruit an experienced individual who will lead on the donor engagement for all Impetus donors. This person will bridge the gap between our funders and the work we do with organisations in our portfolio and other partners to transform the lives of young people.
They will be primarily responsible for leading and delivering engagement through volunteering activities, and through this securing ongoing support for Impetus’s work. The role is strategic, working in close collaboration with our Investment team to first identify suitable volunteering opportunities via our portfolio partners and then working in close collaboration to deliver opportunities which closely align with the aims of our funders. Our volunteering activities span online CV workshops through to in-person Insight Days, work experience and beyond. The volunteering programme is a vital component of our stewardship offer to our donors, who seek opportunities to meet and support the young people that Impetus serves through the organisation in its portfolio.
The postholder will also support the Head of Engagement (Pro Bono) to enable Impetus to source pro bono support from corporate partners. The role line manages a Philanthropy Officer who facilitates the day-to-day running of volunteering events with partners.
Key responsibilities
Volunteering
- Manage and deliver c.50 online and in person meaningful volunteering activities a year via Impetus portfolio partners.
- Through this delivery of c.50 activities, support the management of Impetus’s funding partnerships, including Corporates, Individuals and Grant Making Trusts, to ensure donors are engaged with Impetus’s work and continue to support.
- Lead meetings (online and in person) with funders to identify their volunteering needs and drive forward engagement opportunities.
- Liaise closely with the Impetus Investment team and organisations in our portfolio to build relationships and craft the planning and delivery of a high-quality programme of volunteering sessions.
- Deliver new strategic opportunities to advance our volunteering programme, including the set-up and initial delivery of a new mentoring programme.
- Identify other new donor engagement opportunities through relationships with our portfolio, expanding the range of opportunities available to donors in response to need and availability.
- Craft relevant communications and collateral for the volunteering programme, alongside Development Directors and the Communications team.
- Ensure all communications with external stakeholders are prompt, clear and compelling.
- Work closely with account managers to ensure effective stewardship over the course of donors’ annual giving cycles, strategically advising on when to hold and host volunteering opportunities.
- Lead on the data analysis of the volunteering programme, regularly feeding back to the Development Director and Investment team in written, verbal and presentation form.
- Ensure the systems and processes around volunteering are maintained and up to date, as well as ensuring the effective use of Salesforce to hold key data.
- Line manage the Philanthropy Officer and oversee their work plan and development.
- Be prepared to travel across London to deliver volunteering events at corporate partner premises.
- Come into the London office two times per week.
- Attend Philanthropy team events outside of work hours including our evening Summer Party; our Saturday Triathlon; and our evening Transforming Lives Dinner. These are in London and outside of London.
Pro Bono
- Support the Head of Engagement (pro bono) in delivering new pro bono partners, including supporting the research of new partners and attending meetings (where necessary) to build new Pro Bono relationships.
- Working alongside the Head of Engagement (pro bono) and the Investment team, to source external support for pro bono projects. You may also support in monitoring the delivery of these projects and reviewing the quality of execution.
- Support in the stewardship of existing pro bono partners including leading appropriate meetings or Lunch and Learn sessions.
- Record all pro bono contacts and projects within Salesforce database.

About the role

Network and Systems

Background: Muslim Charities Forum (MCF) is the UK network for British Muslim charities working for social good in the UK and internationally. Through our network of almost 300 charitable organisations, we aim to collectively build a more accountable, transparent and efficient British Muslim charitable sector, in order to improve our ability—both as individual organisations and as a sector—to contribute to a more just and sustainable world. Along with our member organisations, we work with a wider network of partners that includes non-member NGOs, regulatory bodies, civil society partners, and academic institutions, to drive systemic change.
Job Purpose: MCF has a small team, but our impact is far-reaching. The Sector and Business Development Lead has an important role in supporting members and the wider British Muslim charity sector, reporting and working directly with the CEO. The postholder will be responsible for managing change management, organisational development and capacity building support to the voluntary, community and third sector in 4 core areas including governance, organisational development, volunteering and fundraising. The post holder will be responsible for coordinating and over-seeing advice and guidance to groups around these topics, ensuring that they are informed of the regulatory and legal information necessary, encouraging full compliance with legislation through a designed health-check framework. At Ambitious about Autism, we're currently looking for an Employment Coach to join our team.
You'll support the digital transformation of the employability service by developing new and innovative ways to share information, advice and guidance with candidates. Initially this will take the format of webinars, workshops, web pages and short-form video content and has the capacity to grow and change as the digital strategy progresses.
You'll work closely with colleagues to deliver on the wider aims of the employability service by supporting the delivery of information, advice and guidance to autistic young people aged 18-25. You'll support autistic candidates to secure paid internships, apprenticeships and employment, supporting an online community of candidates to ensure that Employ Autism activities are guided by candidates' needs and wants.

This role sits within the Welcome Hackney team. Welcome Hackney supports residents who are currently seeking asylum, have refugee status, or arrived in the borough via the Homes for Ukraine or resettlement schemes. The team also supports migrant residents with no/insecure status who face additional barriers to accessing services.
The purpose of the role will be to set up and manage services which ensure that refugees, migrants and asylum-seeking residents can access the support they need, as well as influencing systems to ensure services are available and accessible. The role will identify any gaps in service provision, working with residents and the voluntary and community sector towards creating a welcoming environment for refugees, migrants and asylum seekers.

About the role
The CIOF offers a diverse range of short courses, conferences, webinars, and leadership programmes for fundraisers at all stages of their careers, and we will continue to expand our offer in line with sector needs over time.

The Qualifications Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring that our qualifications will give fundraisers professional recognition, increased insight, and improved job prospects.
Job Purpose
- Supporting the Director of Operations and working alongside the Professional Development Manager, you will have responsibility for the management of all the Chartered Institute’s existing qualifications.
- You will be responsible for the academic integrity of qualification-related learning products, including responsibility for the assessment and external verification processes.
- You will also be responsible for project managing the rewrite of our Level 4 Certificate and Level 5 Diploma qualifications through a team of experienced tutors.
- You will scope the opportunity to deliver a Level 3 and Level 6 qualification for future release, offering modular options for students.
- In addition, you will contribute to our journey to achieving awarding status from Ofqual and work with the Executive Director of Change on the final stage of our chartered status, achieving the power to award Individual chartered status for fundraisers.
Key Accountabilities
- Provide support to potential, current, and future students including advising on suitable courses and qualifications, assessment, and options for their career path.
- Maintain excellent relationships with the Chief Examiner, External Examiner, and qualification tutors in relation to assignments or examinations.
- Attend the annual Exam Board (and qualification faculty training days) supporting the administration as appropriate.
- Be the key point of contact with external partners for the delivery of apprenticeships including Registered Training Providers, the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA), Ofqual, and the Institute for Apprenticeships.
- Lead on the co-ordination of other continuing professional development activities ensuring alignment with Individual Membership grades.
- Coordinate the assessment and examination processes for all CIOF qualifications.
- Management of all qualification procedures including scheduling, moderation, internal verification, submissions, record keeping, tutor allocation, resubmissions, extensions, appeals, and withdrawals.
- Work with the Professional Development Manager to review the content of our qualifications, online learning, and short courses, ensuring that course materials and all documentation are updated as appropriate.
- In collaboration with the Membership Services Manager and Professional Development Manager, actively seek ways to improve, develop and maintain processes to ensure smooth and efficient procedures relating to professional development activities including but not exclusively to Short Courses, Qualifications, and other learning programmes, e.g. Future Leaders Programme.
- Provide day-to-day support and advice to students and the faculty.
- Provide consistent and effective communications regarding professional development products to key stakeholders.
- Development, management, and monitoring of the Professional Development budget.
- Support the working relationship with the CIOF Learning and Development Committee, and the European Fundraising Association.
