General Duties:
1. To promote the programmes of work and manage the external and internal referral process including the assessment of need, risk and safeguarding concerns.
2. Hold a caseload of 4 families delivering “whole family” or targeted interventions.
3. Lead and facilitate community group work programmes including 6 #CapeAbility in Schools programme which aims to build resilience and self-esteem for children in key stage 2.
4. Lead and facilitate groupwork programmes for parents such Strengthening Families Strengthening Communities and Child Overcoming Domestic Abuse.
5. Safeguard the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults you work with directly and take appropriate action if escalation is needed.
6. To provide practical and emotional support to families or advocacy and signposting to specialist and universal services where appropriate.
7. Ensuring that the voices and views of children and young people are sought, heard and represented appropriately.
8. Attend designated meetings with multi-agency professionals and act as lead professional where appropriate to support the Team Around the Child/Family or Early Help Assessment (EHA).

The Role

The main duties of the role
- To work with the Impact and Operations teams to improve programme evaluation, including designing qualitative and quantitative impact and process evaluations.
- To lead the delivery of evaluations, including data collection, analysis and reporting.

About the role

Our bank of retention and acquisition work currently includes print appeals, digital campaigns, inserts, press ads, social media and telemarketing acquisition, online lottery, raffle and more! As you direct the marketing team, it is essential you'll be able to use your fundraising knowledge to edit copy and feedback on campaigns based on your experience of how to uplift response. This knowledge will be developed in your ongoing regular work monitoring the teams results and performance, putting these learnings into action with the creative, data and planning decisions that you make. Linking creative decisions with data and analysis is key and we welcome the new ideas that brings. About the position
The GMS Support Manager will be responsible for leading on the day-to-day operations of the Freedom Fund’s new Salesforce Grant Management System. The project to develop the new GMS is currently in progress, with user training expected to take place in January 2025 and the Go Live planned for February 2025. The transition to the new system will be a significant change in the organisation’s way of working; currently the Freedom Fund’s grant management process is manual and spread over multiple different platforms.
Initially, the focus of the role will be on supporting the Freedom Fund staff as they transition to using the new system, including assisting with user training and working with the implementation partner Hyphen8 to identify and resolve any issues that arise. Following Go Live, the GMS Support Manager will be responsible for leading on administration and maintenance of the system, requiring a good technical knowledge of how Salesforce works. The role will be responsible for user training and support, leading on staff consultation for future system developments and prioritising requests. The successful candidate will also act as the main point of contact between the Freedom Fund and implementation partner Hyphen8 for both ongoing support and future development phases.
Responsibilities
• Support the roll-out of the Freedom Fund’s new Grant Management System, including supporting Hyphen8 with user training and troubleshooting any issues that arise during the transition.
• Lead the day-to-day operations of the Salesforce system; including system performance, change control and user support

Overview of the role:
Working in a small team, you will play an active role in the delivery of their External Affairs programme of work, primarily delivering secretariat duties for the APPG (All Party Parliamentary Group) on Deep Geothermal, as well as contributing to wider external affairs outputs.
Your core responsibilities will be to develop and deliver APPG Secretariat duties. You will ensure members and political stakeholders are kept informed, and that administrative requirements are met. The Global Legal Action Network (GLAN) works with affected communities to pursue innovative legal actions across borders to challenge states and other powerful actors involved in human rights violations and systemic injustice. Our actions address the most pressing instances of human rights concern and they fall within the following themes: War and occupation; accountability and supply chains; environmental and economic justice; and migration and border violence.
Since our establishment in 2016, we have developed legal strategies directly addressing human rights impacts in over 23 countries and territories. Our cases include the successful legal challenge against imports of cotton produced with forced labour in Xinjiang (East Turkistan) into the UK on behalf of World Uyghur Congress and the climate case against 32 European States before the Grand Chamber of the European Court of Human Rights, brought on behalf of six Portuguese youth-applicants.

As the Head of Strategic Communications at GLAN, you will spearhead the development and execution of a comprehensive communications strategy that amplifies GLAN's mission and impact on a global scale.
