The Snowdrop Project is the first organisation in the UK to provide long-term, community based support to survivors of modern slavery and exploitation. Each year, our casework team engages with over 150 individuals and their dependents to provide trauma-informed advocacy, advice and support towards independence. The Casework Manager leads our team of specialist caseworkers to deliver this programme, carry a small caseload, collaborate with our wider operational team to develop opportunities, influence national policy and improve access to support for survivors in South Yorkshire and beyond.

Purpose of the Job
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a clinical lead working within our Mental Health Support Teams and wider Children and Young People’s Services. As an integral part of our services, you will ensure the high-quality delivery of mental health interventions for children and young people. You will provide clinical supervision and support to a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring adherence to evidence-based practice and national guidelines. This role involves overseeing the delivery of low-intensity and early intervention mental health support within schools and the community for children and young people between the ages of 5-18 (for young people with SEND under 25). In addition, you will ensure professional development and clinical governance.
Job Summary
The role includes:
- Providing case management and clinical supervision (1:1 and group) and some line management
- Supporting the team to write sensitive and appropriate reports concerning the assessment, formulation and treatment plans of children and young people
- Carrying out clinical case file audits to ensure high quality practice and to support practitioners and trainees
- Ensuring that practitioners and trainees work within their scope of practice and adhere to professional standards
- Ensuring adherence to evidence-based practice in accordance with national guidance and national and local policies (including NHS and educational frameworks)

Essential

- Significant experience (minimum of 5 years) in child and adolescent mental health, including direct work with children and families with complex needs

Since last year, we have been gradually launching our new Excellence Network regional clinical lead roles across England as part of our new regional model in England. We're now recruiting for the final regional clinical lead in England to lead their regional network in London.
In September 2024, the Parkinson’s UK Excellence Network (PEN) moved to a new regional model in England and introduced the 7 newly-formed PEN regions in England, with the boundaries aligned to the 7 NHS England regions. Click here to read more about the new model.
The regional model in the devolved nations remains the same: there are 3 regions in Scotland, 2 in Wales and 1 region in Northern Ireland.
Last year we began gradually recruiting the consultancy services of regional clinical leads in each of the 7 regions in England, to help us deliver this new model.

About the Role
The Street Engagement Team is a multi-disciplinary team that provides person-led support to people experiencing street homelessness and interconnecting needs.
A day in this role is never the same – part of it will be spent on the street, offering support to people experiencing homelessness. You might be out with another member of the team, or with one of our specialist health partners like a homeless health nurse, or substance use worker. Alongside this element of the role, the rest of your day will be spent intensively supporting a small caseload of people who are isolated from services.
You will have substantial experience in delivering a person-led, psychologically, gender and culturally informed service to people who are street homeless. You will be excellent at building and strengthening trust in relationships. You will be a problem solver, with a positive attitude towards change and service development.

The successful candidate will work remotely from home and be based in the South West region. This role will involve travel across the region and occasional travel to our Loughborough and Manchester offices.
This role is full-time (36 hours) and permanent.
We offer 26.5 days of annual leave, including birthday leave, plus bank holidays. Activity Alliance also closes between Christmas and New Year which means that employees are not expected to work during this time and they are not required to use their annual leave allowance to have this time free from work.

We have an opportunity for a Public Affairs and Campaigns Manager (Scotland) to join our team and help shape and carry out Poppyscotland and RBLs public affairs and campaigning activities in Scotland.
Joining us at a busy time, you will grow and manage our campaign activities locally in Scotland, delivering our political engagement for the next Scottish Parliament election and advising colleagues both in Poppyscotland and RBL on political developments.
RBLs Campaigns, Policy, and Research (CPR) team raise the profile of issues affecting the Armed Forces community, and work to influence politicians, officials, and the wider sector, to improve policy and service delivery to address these issues. Poppyscotland, as part of the RBL Group, work to deliver better outcomes for serving and ex-serving personnel, and their families across Scotland. This role will see you as a key part of our wider CPR team working across both RBL and Poppyscotland.
Reporting to our Head of Public Affairs and Campaigns, key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting colleagues with the development of a Public Affairs engagement programme in Scotland - managing day-to-day implementation through regular events, meetings, briefings and attendance at conferences, including local government and party conferences
- Developing and maintaining good working relationships with the Scottish Government, key Members of the Scottish Parliament, Committees, All-Party Groups, the Scottish Veterans Commissioner, and other related stakeholders within Scotland
- Routinely monitoring political developments at the Scottish Parliament and parliamentary business and identify any areas of concern and opportunities to influence
- Working with Poppyscotland colleagues, Public Affairs and Campaigns Manager (UK) and Public Affairs and Campaigns Manager (Wales) on the development of campaign strategies and messages to facilitate positive policy change
- Being the lead point of contact for internal and external enquiries about Poppyscotland and RBL campaigns, managing responses to Scottish public affairs issues and developments
You will be contracted to our Edinburgh Hub with a minimum expectation of two days per week working in person at the Hub and flexibility for working remotely/at home when not on site. There will also be a requirement for travel across the region.
Should you wish to explore a remote/home based working contract, with regular travel to the Edinburgh Hub and across the region, this can be discussed at interview. Due to the nature and duties of the role, it is expected that you will live within a reasonable distance of the Edinburgh Hub.
