The CEO will lead IYC’s services and charitable activities, ensuring effective day-to-day management and development of services and income, while maintaining a positive stakeholder engagement that aligns with its strategy, and ensures future success, financial sustainability, and impact.

This role is part-time but will include occasional evenings to support core project delivery times and board meetings. Regular in person working in Inner London locations is a requirement. Other activities can be completed via remote working.

About the role:

As our Finance Manager you will be at the heart of the charity’s operations and play a vital role in helping us embark on a new 3-year strategy. Working closely with the Director of Operations and CEO your role and expertise will be pivotal in driving excellence and integrity in financial management and strategic financial decisions.

Your responsibilities will span the entire financial lifecycle, including budgeting, forecasting and meticulous reporting. You will also lead on management reporting, cashflow planning and the delivery of WellChild’s audit, Annual Report & Accounts.

What are we looking for:

You will have a detailed knowledge of accounting principles (ideally from within the charity sector), strong analytical skills; be able to demonstrate both operational and strategic thinking and have a proficiency in accounting alongside a relevant finance qualification; ACA, ACCA, ACMA (qualification by experience maybe considered).

As the main finance role for the charity ( supported by the Operations Team) you w ill be an excellent communicator, unflappable and diligent individual who takes pride in their work and enjoys a diverse workload.

Have advanced excel skills, experience of charity accounts, SORP and charity VAT and be able to plan, prioritise and organise your work with impeccable attention to detail.

Role Description

The Racial Equity Programme Lead will be part of our talented, agile and welcoming team of 7. This is a newly established role that will be managed by the Programmes Director, and work closely with the CEO, the wider organisation and those involved in this programme, including expert collaborators, partners and a steering group. There are no line management responsibilities.

The key responsibilities of the role are to:

● Offer valuable insights and learning from the Leadership Lighthouses programme and support their integration to       ensure our organisation's work remains inclusive and impactful.

● Lead and manage the Leadership Lighthouses programme, with a collaborative approach, building strong relationships with partners and participants, actively listening and responding to their needs.

● Ensure effective deployment of resources to achieve the programme objectives and targets.

● Design and implement robust management processes to ensure good governance and successful project outcomes.

● Support delivery partners and manage the partnership relationship, ensuring consistent and high-quality work, addressing any shortcomings appropriately.

● Provide administrative support to the Steering Group.

● Anticipate and mitigate risks to ensure milestones and targets are met.

● Monitor expenditure against the programme budget, working with delivery partners to ensure optimal use of available funds.

● Collaborate with the Clore Social Marketing team and other agencies to promote the programme.

Terms and working hours

We are open to discussing flexible arrangements before or on application.

● This is a five-year fixed term contract role.

Place of work

Pay and benefits

● Salary for this role will be £32,000 based on 28 hours per week (£40,000 full time equivalent FTE).

● The post holder is entitled to 20 days of annual leave (25 days FTE), in addition to UK statutory holidays.

● The office is closed for one week during the winter festive period (25-31 December), providing an additional three days of annual leave in addition to the above allocation.

● You have the option to join our contributory pension scheme. The employer's contribution is 3% with a minimum employee contribution of 5%.

​As a member of the Farm’s Operational Management team, you will support the organisation with financial insights and guidance to help us develop the charity, remain sustainable and achieve our mission.  

Hours of work: 21-28 hours per week largely undertaken between 9 - 5pm, Monday to Friday 
Place of work: This role is based at St Werburghs City Farm in Bristol, however, hybrid working can be discussed.

The activity of the role focuses on undertaking policy, influencing and other public affairs activity inclusive of ensuring the FSRH Hatfield Vision achieves its aims to improve reproductive healthcare for all, and assisting the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Sexual & Reproductive Healthcare (SRH) with its programme of activity.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with an interest in healthcare policy and a passion for improving society. Experience of working in policy, public affairs, campaigning, as well as experience of working in a project environment is desirable. Excellent writing skills are essential, as is a broad understanding of communications techniques to engage policy makers around the issues that clinicians and the public alike face.

FSRH offers a flexible working pattern, including hybrid working to suit the individual, with the option of working in the offices of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in London Bridge, where the FSRH is situated. The FSRH is the leader in the field of sexual and reproductive healthcare, and we are the voice for healthcare professionals working at the frontline of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare (SRH) in a range of settings in the community and primary care. Our members include SRH specialists, GPs, nurses, midwives and pharmacists. As a multi-disciplinary professional membership organisation, we set clinical guidance and standards, provide training and lifelong education, and champion safe and effective sexual and reproductive healthcare across the lifecourse for all.

The FSRH’s External Affairs Team influences policy and practice through evidence-based advocacy as well as raising awareness of SRH rights among the public. We aim to develop policy, build partnerships to enhance influencing ability, and provide external communications inclusive of media relations in order to promote the Goals set out in the FSRH’s Hatfield Vision and Organisational Strategy, through the promotion of the highest standards in the field of SRH.

Youth Worker (Women's Worker) – 9 Month Maternity Cover
We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate team player to join our growing team as a full-time Youth Worker (Women’s Worker) on a fixed term 9-month maternity cover contract. 
In this role, you will work within the Youth Work Team to deliver our frontline drop-in service and support our weekly and monthly activities to all young people experiencing homelessness.
You’ll specialise in sharing knowledge and expertise in gender-informed work, leading the delivery of our weekly Women and Non-Binary space, facilitating group sessions and supporting a caselist of young women experiencing multiple and complex needs.
Ideally you should be experienced in working with young people aged 18-25 and/or have demonstrable experience working directly with women (of any age). You will understand gender informed practice and have experience or transferable skills working with those who are survivors of domestic violence and other gender-based violence. You will also be committed to the safeguarding of all young people and delivering an inclusive and trauma-informed service.
You should be experienced designing, planning and facilitating a range of activities, able to work dynamically in a fast-paced day centre environment and be skilled in engaging a diverse range of young people in positive activities.

Service Manager – Jobs, Education and Training (JET) – Maternity Cover
We are looking for a dynamic, organised and proactive manager to join the Youth Work Team and support our mission to enable young people who are homeless, facing homelessness or unsafe to achieve independence and positive futures.
We have an ambitious plan to deliver an innovative and varied programme of youth work, jobs, employment and education (JET) and lifeskills to young people this year and we are searching for an exceptional candidate to help us succeed in this vision.
We are looking for a candidate who is committed to delivering high quality services to homeless young people. The successful person will be responsible for delivering an innovative and youth-led JET and lifeskills programme as well as supporting with the coordination of our daily day centre service to young people aged 16-24.
You will have experience motivating and inspiring frontline teams, maintaining and building a network of relationships with relevant external agencies and be able to work dynamically and confidently in a fast-paced day centre environment. We’re looking for a candidate who can think on their feet, demonstrate initiative and proactivity, and is an excellent problem-solver.
The ideal candidate is a team player who enjoys working collaboratively across our organisation. They will be committed to the safeguarding of young people and helping us to develop an inclusive and trauma-informed service.

As our Fundraising Lead you will work with the Fundraising Manager to increase the number of supporters and income by: 

• Developing and organising fundraising events, campaigns and community support
