Our services include sensory play for Under-5’s, youth programmes, wellbeing activities for those experiencing mental health issues, bilingual advice, and activities to reduce social isolation and enhance physical and mental wellbeing for older people. We also run a day centre in Shadwell, where we care for elders from the Bangladeshi and other communities.
This is a particularly exciting time to join St. Hilda’s East as we commemorate our 135th anniversary. We have a unique relationship with our founders, the Guild (alumnae) of Cheltenham Ladies’ College, we are located on the fringes of the City, and we generate income from hiring out space in our community centre. These opportunities make the Fundraising & Marketing Manager position varied and interesting, with plenty of possibility to grow and develop in the role.
The Fundraising & Marketing Manager will take the lead in developing and implementing our fundraising and marketing strategies, splitting your time about 60/40 between the two functions. As Fundraising & Marketing Manager you will be responsible for securing funding from a wide range of sources, stewarding relationships with our supporters, and managing communication with external stakeholders.
It is not essential to have experience in the non-profit sector; we would love to hear from you if you have experience in sales and marketing in a commercial environment and are looking to bring your talents to the charity sector.

Job purpose
As part of the bid writing team be accountable for writing multi million pound winning bids for agreed contracts, tenders and frameworks in line with the agreed operating model, enabling United Response to retain and grow income in a sustainable way.
Key responsibilities
Bid writing
· Writing high quality and innovative responses in tenders and framework that are representative of United Response work in collaboration with Operation colleagues and Relationship Managers that will lead to winning multi million pound partnerships
· Working closely with the Principle Commercial Bid Writer, Heads of business development, operational subject matter experts to ensure that all tenders, are written to an excellent standard and meet necessary criteria within internal and procurement timeframes.
· Editing and copywriting content to provide consistent and engaging written submissions.
· To articulate and illustrate information provided to you as well as work up concepts into creative and innovative ideas, in line with The United Response strategy and brand. This will include research, example gathering, development of new initiatives and engaging internal and external stakeholders, to include in model development and submissions which will lead to significant increases in income.
· Working with the Principle Commercial Bid Writer to develop a library of sector leading stock responses ensuring tools, examples and information are kept up to date and properly represents the work we do
· Write excellent bids, that bring our offer to life and win UR the contracts
Budgets and Critical Analysis
· Develop comprehensive blue prints for each of our contracts, which will include:
o Rigorous and comprehensive cost benefit analysis for all of our services and bids.
o Experience of developing significant comprehensive budgets for bids to ensure that the ROI is met ensuring sustainable contracts.
o A full risk assessment for the contract to inform decision making for a bid no bid scenario.
Best Practice and Learning
· Keep abreast of latest innovations and research to include in responses.
· Work with colleagues in Operational, Quality and Practice teams to ensure the best practice is shared and knowledge and management information is both used in tenders and available to the organisation.
· Research and data collection for bids, contributing as actively to bespoke model design and innovation development.
· Evaluate and improve future submissions utilising bid feedback and good practice from successful bids, taking a lead and ownership of the Response Library.

The St Mungo’s Pan London Rough Sleeping Teams provide a rapid response service, intervening to ensure no one needs to sleep rough. We are currently looking for a Case Coordinator to join our Somewhere Safe to Stay (SSTS) team in West London. The SSTS team aim is to provide a preventative service to support people in avoiding rough sleeping, or to get off the streets quickly and into suitable alternative accommodation.
In the role of Case Coordinator, you will:
- Play a central role in coordinating the day to day case work of the team to ensure high quality personalised casework. You will
- Work in partnership with local authorities, accommodation services, statutory and voluntary agencies to ensure that clients move on from the service into the appropriate accommodation with the correct support in place.
- Provide line management, support and supervision to Assessment and Reconnection Workers.
In this non-shift role, you will work on site in Cromwell Road, West London within normal office hours Monday – Friday. However, on occasion you may be asked to work flexibly in order to support the team or a particular client on an evening or weekend. You may also be required to work across our triage hub, and other emergency hotel locations as required.

We are looking for a dynamic, self-driven person with relevant language skills to support the Roma Rough Sleeper Team as an Outreach Worker (known internally as Roma Mediator), working across central London boroughs. In this vital role you will:
- Undertake Street outreach shifts where you will be involved in making contact with people who are sleeping rough, assessing their needs and delivering personalised case management; to support individuals to make the move away from the streets.
- Support teams of Street Outreach Workers to deliver accessible services and ensure that contact is made and sustained with Roma people sleeping rough.
- Ensure the assessments made and the support offered are appropriate and relevant for the client group and that Roma people are supported to engage with the available services.
- Work in partnership with multi-disciplinary teams and agencies and advocate, where appropriate, on behalf of Roma people with external agencies regarding their welfare rights and other support needs.

Main purpose of the role
The post of Customer Support Administrator provides Resuscitation Council UK (RCUK) with the opportunity to deliver high quality customer service alongside supporting our Coordinators who administer courses and deal with enquiries. This role includes communication, administrative and course support duties. The Customer Support Administrator will have all-round skills and be professional, dependable, adaptable, conscientious, well-organised and a proactive self-starter who is willing to work across the organisation and communicate effectively at all levels.
The role is situated within the Governance and Assurance directorate but will work closely with all directorates within the organisation.

Duties and responsibilities
Communication
- Be the first point of contact for people contacting RCUK by telephone and dealing with the subject matter appropriately or referring to others.
- Monitor and allocate enquiries via the RCUK support system, answer enquiries, or allocate/escalate to appropriate individuals within the organisation.
- Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction.
- Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies.
- Ability to meet and uphold SLAs.
- Ensure KPI’s are met to adhere to RCUK’s standards.
- Build sustainable relationships and trust with candidates, course centres and instructors through open and interactive communication.

Administration

Courses
Please note: the following section will amount to a smaller percentage of this role, but training will be provided so the successful candidate has the ability to be able undertake the below when required.
- Report to the Business Support Manager (BSM) regarding any concerns/issues with communication to Course Centres, Instructors, Candidates and other stakeholders.
- Understand and provide assistance on all courses which include: Advanced Life Support (ALS), Newborn Life Support (NLS), Immediate Life Support (ILS), Paediatric Immediate Life Support (PILS), Focused Echocardiography in Emergency Life Support (FEEL), Generic Instructor Course (GIC), European Paediatric Advanced Life Support (EPALS), Advance Resus of Newborn Infant (ARNI).
- Liaise with Course Centres, managing and approving courses in line with current course Regulations.
- Organise course materials and keep accurate records by:
o liaising with suppliers to maintain adequate stock levels of course materials
o organising the dispatching of course materials to Course Centres
o liaising with Course Centres and the supplier to resolve issues - e.g. lost orders
o liaising with Finance regarding invoicing and payment of accounts
- Provide expert advice and first-line support to Course Centre Administrators, Course Directors, Instructors, Candidates and ALS Regional Representatives regarding aspects of all courses and the RCUK Learning Management System (LMS).
- Alongside the BSM, acknowledge course complaints and request further information and documentation as required, prior to escalation where necessary.
- Provide absence cover within the coordinator team.
- Work with the Clinical Leads (CLs) to assist with keeping the course regulations and course materials under review and ensuring any changes or new guidelines are communicated to our community of practice.

We are now recruiting for a Lead Coach in Bethnal Green - an outstanding opportunity to work as part of a local church to deliver the Spear Programme.
You’ll be working with the local church to manage the delivery of Resurgo's award-winning Spear Programme. Over the last 20 years, Spear has supported more than 10,000 young people across the UK with the work-ready skills and mindset they need to succeed in employment, no matter the challenges they face. In this role, you’ll be responsible for:
The Lead Coach is primarily responsible for overseeing the training room and group sessions with young people. You will help shape the training environment and will confidently adapt and deliver materials and sessions to work within the group’s development towards work readiness.
Delivery of Spear Programme - Group and 1:1 coaching [60%]
- Preparing and coaching Spear Foundation sessions and 1-1s, ensuring that young people are engaged, retained and work-ready by the end of this initial phase of the programme
- Building relationships with young people on the programme and managing culture, and attitudes in the training room
- Adapting the Spear coaching material according to the needs of the Trainees and managing behaviour effectively
- Handling safeguarding
- Taking a lead on rating the work readiness of the trainees and making sure data is inputted and used correctly on salesforce
- Tracking trainee progress on the dashboards
- Liaising with volunteers for key programme engagement events such as mock interviews and external panels. Leading on briefings and communications with these volunteers

- Delivering weekly Spear Career sessions (including running workshops with past Trainees), maintaining records and reporting on statistics, and creatively developing ongoing relationships with Spear Trainees
Training the Graduate Coach [10%]
- Contributing towards the training and developing of the Graduate Coach by modelling excellent coaching and giving regular feedback
Trainee recruitment [10%]
- Developing relationships with Job Centres and local referral agencies to ensure that the maximum number of Spear Trainees are enrolled on each programme. This involves liaising with referral agencies, active face-to-face recruitment and monitoring recruitment statistics
Continuous professional development
- Continually engaging in professional development, including being part of Resurgo’s wider coaching programmes and possibly supporting on leading internal training such as Grad Coach Training
Active participation in and support for church team and mission
- As the Spear programme is run in partnership with a local church partner, you will establish a strong personal connection with the church to develop the engagement and backing of church members and help build a strong network of supporters for the Spear programme. As part of this you may be asked to speak at church/events and contribute to prayer meetings as per Resurgo’s Christian ethos and the mission of the church

Our belief is that rough sleeping is an intrinsically harmful and dangerous activity both for the individual and for the wider community. Therefore, we take a proactive and assertive approach to supporting people away from this activity. Our aim is to support people to recover from the effects of rough sleeping and move away from a street lifestyle permanently. We are now looking for someone to join the team as an Outreach Worker.
- Working as an Outreach Worker you will work with people to assess their needs and deliver a person-centred support, as well as working in partnership with multi-disciplinary teams and agencies across the city to meet client’s individual needs.
- It’s not always an easy job, but the exciting opportunity to work with different people every day, helping individuals experiencing homelessness and the local community end the harms of rough sleeping is highly rewarding.

Corporate partnership strategy
- Develop and lead a strategic plan to build sustainable corporate partnerships, especially in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors. Focus on achieving ambitious financial targets through various income sources, including grants, sponsorships, and direct corporate funding.
Income target achievement
- Drive initiatives to meet or exceed income goals, adapting strategies based on performance insights to maximise revenue growth. Regularly monitor income metrics and report transparently on progress, challenges, and successes.
Relationship building
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the corporate, pharmaceutical, healthcare, and biotech sectors. Ensure these partnerships align with our clients mission and income goals to foster mutually beneficial, long-term engagement.
Grant and proposal leadership
- Lead major funding applications and proposals, collaborating with internal teams and external bid writers to secure substantial grants and sponsorships. Ensure applications are aligned with income goals and present a compelling case for support.
Compliance and contract management
- Oversee compliance for all grant and sponsorship agreements, ensuring contractual obligations are met, funds are allocated accurately, and reporting is clear and accountable. Maintain high standards of transparency in partnership activities.
Revenue stream expansion & Engagement and Marketing
- Identify and assess new corporate revenue streams and innovative partnerships, particularly within pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors, to sustainably expand income generation and support organisational growth.
- Develop a focused external engagement and marketing strategy to effectively communicate our mission, value, and impact to potential corporate partners, particularly in pharma and healthcare. Enhance brand awareness and reputation through strategic outreach.

Ideal candidates will have proven experience in income generation within corporate and pharmaceutical partnerships, a strategic approach, and a record of exceeding financial goals. About you:
- Demonstrable experience and knowledge of complex issues effecting women including DV, VAWG, Mental Health, Women’s Health and Substance Misuse.
- Experience of, or a strong awareness and understanding of staff and service management and the ability to lead, motivate and develop the skills of both staff and service users, and to motivate and manage a quality service committed to achieving excellence.

About the role
We are seeking a passionate and strategic leader to join our team as our new Head of External Affairs. In this critical role, you will develop and implement a comprehensive external affairs strategy aimed ensuring decision makers and influencers understand the impact of the challenges farming people face and continue to work with RABI to develop and implement solutions that building physical, mental and financial resilience. Significant experience in advising at senior levels and expertise in integrated external affairs, including drafting public affairs briefings and developing policy positions will be crucial. As well as an exceptional influencing and networking ability, alongside exemplary written and oral communication skills.
We need someone with experience managing teams through organisational changes and be open, confident, and collaborative in engaging with others. Importantly you will be adept at building relationships at the Ministerial level and fostering cross-party support for policies while integrating service user voices into strategies. Strong stakeholder engagement and planning skills are required to manage a diverse portfolio of projects. A commitment to the objectives of RABI, a full clean UK driving license, and readiness to travel and on occasion work unsociable hours are also necessary.
