We have an exciting opening for someone to join our senior leadership team leading our campaigning work. We need a strategic expert who understands politics, campaigning and how to get the best out of campaigning organisations. The Campaigns Director must maintain a comprehensive understanding of the organisation's financial position, proactively managing budgets and implementing necessary adjustments to ensure organisational health and sustainability.
The Campaigns Director leads the Campaigns department, crafting our plans and supporting the team to execute powerful, people-powered campaigns that shape the country to be fair, respectful and sustainable. They oversee campaign strategy development, as well as teams that execute our plans, run our social media campaigns, and our public/media affairs work, all while ensuring alignment with organisational goals and political positioning.
The Campaigns Director must maintain a comprehensive understanding of the organisation's financial position, proactively managing budgets and implementing necessary adjustments to ensure organisational health and sustainability. They play a critical role in steering the organisation's narrative, tracking campaign progress, and working collaboratively with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to align campaign objectives and work in progress with other organisational insights and initiatives.

This remote role can be worked from anywhere in the UK, ideally over 2 days Monday-Friday. The salary for the role is £29,000-£31,000 (pro rata £11,600- £12,400).
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Identify Funding Opportunities: Research trusts, foundations, and other funding bodies whose criteria align with PKD Charity’s work. Build a robust pipeline of potential funders.
Craft Compelling Applications: Prepare, write, and submit high-quality, persuasive funding applications. Tailor proposals to meet each funder’s specific guidelines and highlight the charity’s unique impact.
Data-Driven Case Development: Gather and analyse relevant information to create compelling cases for support, backed by data that showcases the impact of our programs.
Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective funders, ensuring consistent communication, appreciation, and donor care to foster long-term engagement.
Expand Funding Pool: Utilise sector knowledge to identify and approach new funders, increasing the charity’s income streams and securing diverse funding sources.
Progress Tracking and Reporting: Provide regular updates to the CEO on application progress, successful funding, and potential new opportunities. Develop and manage systems to monitor deadlines, submissions, income received, and application status.
Donor Communication: Ensure funders are kept informed about the charity’s work, including submitting progress reports and impact updates that highlight the value of their contributions.

ABOUT YOU:
Proven Experience: You have a strong background in fundraising, particularly in trust and foundation grants, and are comfortable working independently in a remote setting.
Organised and Detail-Oriented: You excel at managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines, and paying close attention to detail.
Collaborative Team Player: You are flexible and ready to contribute to various aspects of the charity's work, embracing a team spirit.

As Signpost's Chief Executive, you will lead a dedicated team who provide pivotal services to carers in Stockport helping to support them in living healthier more fulfilled lives.
You will be providing strategic oversight of contractual services for the Local Authority and responsible for developing and undertaking specific projects which are funded by a number of partners. Fundraising is still a relatively new activity for DFN Project SEARCH and this role presents the opportunity to play a key part in its expansion to support the further growth of the charity and enable young adults with a learning disability to lead healthier, happier, and more independent lives.

Our unique Online Reading Volunteer programme currently supports about 3,000 children a year. It pairs disadvantaged, struggling five to eight-year old readers with reading support volunteers who come from over 140 local and national businesses. The volunteer ask is very focused: readers commit 30 minutes a week to read with a child using a bespoke digital platform for an entire academic year. The results are transformative, boosting children's reading confidence and ability.
We set ourselves ambitious targets. We want to support 3,900 children by 2025/6 and this Business Development Officer role, with responsibility for building new corporate partnerships, will be crucial to ensuring that we have sufficient volunteers to achieve this target.

Key Responsibilities:
Corporate partnership strategy
- Develop and lead a strategic plan to build sustainable corporate partnerships, especially in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors. Focus on achieving ambitious financial targets through various income sources, including grants, sponsorships, and direct corporate funding.
Income target achievement
- Drive initiatives to meet or exceed income goals, adapting strategies based on performance insights to maximise revenue growth. Regularly monitor income metrics and report transparently on progress, challenges, and successes.
Relationship building
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the corporate, pharmaceutical, healthcare, and biotech sectors. Ensure these partnerships align with our clients mission and income goals to foster mutually beneficial, long-term engagement.
Grant and proposal leadership
- Lead major funding applications and proposals, collaborating with internal teams and external bid writers to secure substantial grants and sponsorships. Ensure applications are aligned with income goals and present a compelling case for support.
Compliance and contract management
- Oversee compliance for all grant and sponsorship agreements, ensuring contractual obligations are met, funds are allocated accurately, and reporting is clear and accountable. Maintain high standards of transparency in partnership activities.
Revenue stream expansion & Engagement and Marketing
- Identify and assess new corporate revenue streams and innovative partnerships, particularly within pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors, to sustainably expand income generation and support organisational growth.
- Develop a focused external engagement and marketing strategy to effectively communicate our mission, value, and impact to potential corporate partners, particularly in pharma and healthcare. Enhance brand awareness and reputation through strategic outreach.
Candidate Profile
Ideal candidates will have proven experience in income generation within corporate and pharmaceutical partnerships, a strategic approach, and a record of exceeding financial goals. They should excel at building high-level relationships, driving results, and aligning efforts with their mission to maximise impact.
Essential Skills:
- Proven background in corporate income generation and business development, ideally within healthcare or pharmaceutical sectors, with a strong record of consistently meeting or exceeding income targets.
- Thorough understanding of the charity sector and income generation, including experience in securing, managing, and monitoring grants and corporate sponsorships.
- Strong financial skills, with experience in setting, monitoring, and achieving income targets.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, particularly with senior corporate stakeholders.
Personal Qualities:
- Entrepreneurial and proactive, with a forward-thinking approach to identifying and pursuing partnership opportunities.

About the role
The Advocacy & Media Manager reports to the Co-Director of Advocacy and is responsible for leading STOPAIDS' advocacy on Global Health Institutions and the HIV Response, with a particular focus on resource mobilisation for the HIV response and the role of the UK government. They are also responsible for overseeing the development and execution of STOPAIDS' organisation-wide media strategy.

About the role
The Senior Campaigns and Communications Advisor works to amplify STOPAIDS’ impact and reputation across our key advocacy areas through public campaigns and mobilisation, youth engagement and communications, including social media, our website and branding resources.
This role works with the Advocacy Team to plan, co-ordinate and implement campaign activities for STOPAIDS, including the engagement of youth champions and youth networks, and to coordinate and implement our external communications strategy, ensuring high-quality external online content, including social media and website management.

The Communications Manager leads the development of our brand and public-facing messaging to engage our audiences in the global impact of the Award. You will articulate our story through a wide range of content, helping build our voice as global advocates on the value of non-formal education and learning.
You will lead the delivery the Foundation’s communications activity, including content, channel strategy, and building communications and marketing capacity among our global family of Duke of Edinburgh’s Award operators. This includes ownership and strategic development of the Foundation’s public communications channels (website, social media) and strategic support for platforms managed by other teams.
You will partner with teams across the Foundation to advise and support delivery of marketing assets and strategies to support Award operators across the world, including leading the Communications Working Group and developing and delivering marketing capacity-building training to colleagues around the world.
The role oversees our organisational communications calendar and provides the lead communications and marketing support on events activity, acting as the key conduit between the Communications and Events teams and ensuring that all online and offline events receive the communications support and collateral they require, in line with agreed budget and resources.
The role works closely with National Award Operators and the Royal Communications team on royal visits attended by the Award’s patron and Chair, His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh, including media and social media plans.
You will have sound understanding of reputation management and be confident in briefing the wider Foundation staff team, as well as the global Association, on communications queries and activities.
Our long term ambition is that every eligible young person aged 14 – 24 will have the opportunity to participate in the Award.
