This is an exciting opportunity to work with stroke survivors and their families to provide stroke recovery support following a stroke.

The Role

The service aims to identify and address the needs of stroke survivors and carers across the stroke pathway, by providing a range of innovative support solutions, supporting them to meet their desired outcomes. A key part of the role will be to support service users and the delivery of the service.

Reporting to the Stroke Service Delivery Coach, the Stroke Support Coordinator will:

• Support new stroke survivors and their carers from hospital discharge into the community.

• Take a person centred approach to goal setting and support to enable stroke survivors and their carers to improve communication

• Provide personalised information, advice and support.

• Support stroke survivors to make informed lifestyle changes, which will help them to prevent further strokes.

• Work collaboratively with NHS colleagues and other areas of the community to make a difference in the lives of people affected by stroke.

About You

You will have:

• Experience/background in a caring profession, ideally supporting people with disabilities

• Excellent IT skills and an ability to maintain accurate records.

• An affinity with the values of the Association.

• A flexible approach and an ability to effectively manage a caseload.

This role requires extensive travel across a large geographical locality to visit people at home and in community settings. Candidates must be able to demonstrate how they can meet this requirement of the role

The Stories Officer sits in the Marketing and Communications team and will focus on:

· Assist in managing storytelling requests from across RNID, providing vital support and crafting impactful and compelling narratives.

· You’ll be gathering and shaping powerful authentic stories that highlight the impact of RNID’s work, supporting RNID’s strategic goals.

· When you join us, you’ll dive straight into important campaigns like our Protect Your Hearing Campaign, helping to craft meaningful stories. You might find yourself out on location, capturing powerful stories firsthand from our amazing storytellers or coordinating a photo shoot featuring one of our celebrity supporters.

As Stories Officer, you will:

· Work closely with the Stories & Celebrity Manager, identify, interview, and write-up case study stories from people who are deaf, have hearing loss, or tinnitus to support RNID’s campaigns, media, and fundraising efforts.

· Manage and update our centralised database of case studies, celebrities, and influencers, ensuring all stories across the charity are recorded for effective stewardship. Maintain storyteller profiles, contact details, permissions, and consent forms while ensuring GDPR compliance in data collection and storage.

· Collaborate with PR, fundraising, digital, and campaigning teams to integrate storytelling into their work, identify their needs, and match case studies or celebrities to relevant projects.

· Support the development and delivery of storytelling content across multiple platforms, including social media, website, press, and marketing materials, ensuring content meets accessibility standards.

· Manage multiple internal and external storyteller requests.

We are looking for an individual with a passion for storytelling and a deep commitment to amplifying the voices of people who are deaf, have hearing loss or tinnitus. You will have excellent writing skills, with experience in journalism, PR, or a similar field, and have a strong ability to craft compelling narratives that engage and inspire.

Your interviewing skills will be key, as you’ll need to connect with people from diverse backgrounds, ensuring they feel comfortable and confident sharing their stories. Sensitivity and empathy will be essential as you capture authentic, impactful stories. In addition, you’ll be an exceptional multitasker, able to manage multiple storytelling requests and competing priorities with ease. Your proactive and creative approach will drive you to consistently find new ways to tell powerful stories that align with the charity’s mission and strategic goals.

Cystic Fibrosis Trust is the charity uniting people to stop cystic fibrosis (CF). We fund vital research, improve care, speak out and race towards effective treatments for all. Cystic Fibrosis Trust is here to make sure everyone with cystic fibrosis can live without limits.
 
This role is part of the Work Forwards programme which is our programme of employment support, offering information, signposting, and practical support to people with CF. We help people affected by CF pursue their career aspirations and move towards secure fulfilling employment.  

In this role, you will support a caseload of people with cystic fibrosis, building their confidence and empowering them to secure and retain employment that helps them lead a fulfilling life. You’ll work with each client to understand their skills, aspirations, work experience and build their confidence in tackling the challenges they perceive/have experienced in employment due to their cystic fibrosis. Through supportive delivery of information, advice and guidance, you’ll ensure people with CF can access the support they need to achieve their ambitions and make sure their work fits around their health.  
 
You will also get involved with the programme’s wider activities, including supporting the development of new resources, getting involved in the planning and delivery of online sessions, videos and webinars, and making sure we can share and celebrate the stories of people with CF in a wide range of jobs and careers. You’ll also play a key role in supporting the Helen Barrett Bright Ideas Awards, our programme to support people with cystic fibrosis in self-employment. 
 
This is a varied and interesting role, with the opportunity to make a real difference to people affected by cystic fibrosis and to continue to shape a broad, innovative programme of work.
 
To be the right candidate for this role, you will:

• Have proven experience of delivering advice and guidance around careers, work and employment
• Be experienced in providing one to one support or coaching to positively influence other people’s professional or personal development 
• Understand the importance of maintaining confidentiality and demonstrating this in practice
• Have experience of data recording for programme activities including case management and monitoring and evaluation
• Have good organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure and prioritise effectively
• While lived experience of cystic fibrosis isn't essential for this role, it would be a distinct advantage

The Role

The organisation is responsible for delivery of MNVPs for both Birmingham and Solihull ICB. Travelling is required to engage and meet with service user reps, leads and relevant stakeholders.  Part time applicants will be assigned specific trust to work within (again travel will be required within the specified area).  Some level of cover will also be required across the 2 areas in cases of absence, annual leave etc. 

This is a fixed term role which will involve supervision and line management of a team of volunteers, leads and delivery of the MNVP forums and associated activities as well as supporting the administration of the contract.

Main activities within the role include: 

• Recruitment of MNVP members and volunteers

• Build strong working relationships with commissioners, partners and local parents and families

• Ensure parent and families views are fed back in a clear, understandable matter to commissioners

• Production of a range of reports including data to senior managers and commissioners

• Active use of Social Media to engage with service users and partners including managing meetings via these channels

• Coproduction of communications with Local Maternity Neonatal Systems ensuring service users views are listened to and included in actions

• Attendance at a range of meetings with stakeholders and partners

• Active engagement with other MNVP Forums across the country including through the use of social media

About You

You must have the natural ability to build effective relationships, be approachable and have an outgoing personality as well as being IT literate and a good communicator at all levels.  Experience of working with midwifery services is helpful as is knowledge of MNVP priorities and aims. 

Applicants for this post must be willing to work flexible hours based around the needs of the service and travel to a range of locations across Birmingham and Solihull. This role does have elements of remote 

working.

THE ROLE

We are looking for a motivated and passionate Director of Finance and Operationsto join our team, to provide strategic and financial leadership and support to Climate Spring as it continues to grow

• Strategic leadership on all finance and operational matters affecting Climate Spring’s activities
• Manage and oversee the organisation’s budget in line with the organisation’s strategy
• Support the Executive Director and Director of Impact with fundraising strategy and funder management.
