About the role

We currently have 80 staff members using Salesforce daily. This role provides technical expertise to the CRM users and wider charity, while also carrying out vital audits, project support and administrative duties.

The role of Junior Salesforce Administrator works together with the rest of the team, managed by the Database Manager, to ensure users and projects are supported efficiently and that our Salesforce instance is effectively maintained and maximised.

Key Responsibilities

• Responding to support tickets from internal stakeholders, performing analysis, information gathering, troubleshooting, and escalating while communicating through our support tickets system. 
• Monitoring on-going processes and correcting/escalating any issues that occur. 
• Managing data and keeping records accurate, up to date and consistent. Performing audits to identify irregularities across the system.
• Building Salesforce reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders.
• Create, edit, and maintain Salesforce list views, objects, fields, record types, page layouts, and users. 
• Deliver and support with training and development of all users including their initial induction, as well as follow up training sessions and clinics.
• Assist with testing new enhancements and add-ons from Salesforce releases and custom internal enhancements.
• Create technical and functional documentation. 
• Creating and connecting Form Assembly forms.
• Additional ad hoc tasks relating to the data management requirements of the platform.
• Comply with any monitoring, evaluation and reporting requirements as part of Kinship’s internal processes, as well as any donor or local authority funding requirements for the services being delivered, including producing quarterly performance reports for local authorities, and other funders and stakeholders as required.
• Proactively use data and insight to develop our programmes and sharing with colleagues to contribute to changing the system for kinship carers.

Essential criteria

• Experience of Salesforce Administration and the Nonprofit Success Pack
• Salesforce administration certificate ADM201 
• A strong commitment to ensuring outcomes and impacts of services are evidenced through high quality data collection.
• The ability to work discreetly and effectively with confidential information; ensuring GDPR principles are observed throughout. 
• Able to use own initiative and manage competing priorities. 
• Excellent written and verbal communications and able to communicate technical information in a clear and simple way.
• Able to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.

Desirable criteria

• Lived experience of kinship care.
• Experience of widely customised Salesforce systems.
• Excellent level of IT literacy and proficiency with Excel including Vlookups.
• Familiar with Salesforce configuration concepts such as Profiles, Sharing Rules, Flows, Validation Rules etc.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, coupled with outstanding attention to detail. 
• You’re a solution focussed team player with a positive, can-do mindset.

About the role

· Assist the Fundraising department in planning and delivering national and large-scale fundraising activities.

· Assist the Individual Giving Manager in the coordination and delivery of fundraising campaigns and initiatives including our annual Christmas Appeal, ensuring they are executed effectively and efficiently.

· Support the delivery of digital fundraising activities in line with the Fundraising Strategic Framework.

· Support the administration of the individual giving fundraising programme in collaboration with the wider team.

· Assist the Head of High Value and Individual Giving Manager to administer donor support communications.

· Ensure all donors are thanked in a timely manner via e-mail and letters and accurately recorded on our CRM.

· Maintain and update supporter and donor records within the CRM database ensuring they are accurate.

· Support the refinement of systems and processes to enhance donor experience.

· Serve as the first point of contact for Community Fundraising, including emailing and posting fundraising packs and providing fundraising guidance and advice.

· Maintain and develop our low to mid-level Trust and Foundation income, delivering applications and reporting using our Case for Support.

· Respond to general enquiries received over the phone and through the fundraising and general enquires inboxes.

· Liaise closely with colleagues across the charity to support the development of fundraising collateral and materials for fundraising activities.

About the Role

As our Legacy Officer, you will be at the heart of one of the most important projects in AWIP’s future.

You will:

• Build warm, trusting relationships with legacy pledgers and prospects.

• Respond to supporter enquiries about Gifts in Wills.

• Steward confirmed pledgers through personalised updates, thank you letters, and occasional calls or events.

• Maintain accurate CRM records for legacy prospects and pledgers.

Our committed, supportive team works alongside local volunteers to provide a range of services including advice and casework, supportive group sessions, youth casework and activities for families and young people. 

We are looking for a Youth Caseworker to work alongside young refugees, asylum seekers and other young migrants who are at risk or in crisis, to ensure that they can access their statutory rights and achieve their full potential. The Youth Caseworker will provide holistic casework, advice and practical support to young people aged 14 to 24 years, working closely with statutory and voluntary organisations to ensure that the immediate and longer-term needs of young people are met.

We are looking for a registered nurse to join us as a Clinical Trials Support Nurse in our innovative Clinical Trials Support Service.  

You’ll be delivering high quality information and support to those looking to enter a blood cancer clinical trial. Working alongside a team of specialist nurses, you’ll be giving patients and their loved ones the knowledge and confidence to better understand and potentially access clinical trials, together with the time and space so often not available from their clinical team given the extensive pressures of the NHS. 

You’ll also have the opportunity to participate in exciting project work as we look to increase our reach and value for the blood cancer community, ensuring clinical trials become more accessible for all. 

You’ll have extensive haemato-oncology experience as a research, clinical trials or specialist nurse.  

Expected travel for this role is: 4-8 days in the London office per quarter + two All-staff away days

The new Head of Skilled Volunteering will be instrumental in helping us grow our successful existing Skilled Volunteering programme and take it to the next level reaching more SGOs and skilled volunteers building new partnerships, and deepening relationships and support provided across London.

Role Duties & Responsibilities

Programme Management

• Oversee the day-to-day work of the Skilled Volunteering team including implementation plan, workflow and target realisation

• Monitor and report on progress against annual targets and strategic priorities
• Review and improve the Skilled Volunteering process

Relationship Development and Management

• Maintain and further develop existing relationships across London’s boroughs with partners, charitable organisations, funders, CVSs and others
• Initiate and develop new relationships with relevant organisations that are well positioned to complement and/or support Skilled Volunteering activity
• Attend events in-person and online to further build relationships
• Ensure regular communication through various avenues including mailings, phone calls and in-person meetings
• Lead workshops and trainings about skilled volunteering as required

Programme Development

• Facilitate focus groups with volunteers and organisations
• Develop and oversee a new SGO Advisory Group
• Actively engage with CEO on developing new approaches to using Skilled Volunteering to make a deeper impact within London communities

Communications, Thought Leadership and Events

• Work with the Comms team to ensure promotion is effective and targeted 
• Innovate ways to get the word out to both volunteers and organisations
• Help build our voice as a thought leader in the field of Skilled Volunteering in the UK
• Write blogs and other pieces to share different aspects of Skilled Volunteering
• Coordinate, as needed, with the Events Manager to carry out Skilled Volunteering related events

Systems and Operations

• Actively oversee our CRM and ensure established processes are working efficiently
• Contribute ideas to improve effectiveness of the Skilled Volunteering process
• Continue to review and improve our data collection and analysis system
• Ensure other technology is being used and integrated as needed to support our work
• Identify and lead on implementation of new tech that can support Link UP’s growth and efficiency

Other

• Represent Link UP and our expertise in Skilled Volunteering within the communities that we work and beyond at events and forums and other gatherings (on and offline)
• Contribute to proposal development and funding requests as needed
• Actively engage in the development and growth of Link UP as an organisation

Essential Skills

• 5+ years’ experience with programme management and delivery aimed at creating positive results
• Experience managing people and small teams
• Comprehensive experience with monitoring & evaluation and impact measurements and an interest in developing these further
• A love of working with people, building relationships and experience with relationship management
• A great spoken and written communicator
•  Experience with, and enjoyment of, presenting to groups

This is a great opportunity to join the UK Committee for UNICEF (UNICEF UK) as our Applications Specialist.

As our Applications Specialist, you’ll play a hands-on role in supporting and maintaining our core business applications, ensuring systems are secure, up to date and delivering value. You’ll work across application patching, software deployment, licensing and compliance, with a strong focus on collaboration across teams and suppliers.

We’re looking for someone with experience in supporting enterprise applications, experienced with Microsoft Intune, who is highly organised and confident engaging with both technical and non-technical colleagues. You’ll have a strong understanding of security and compliance, and a drive to keep learning and improving the way we use our technology.

About Us

GiveOut is an award-winning international LGBTQI community foundation. Our mission is to bring together the LGBTQI community and allies to support global LGBTQI rights activism worldwide, building a world where LGBTQI people everywhere can live freely and fully.

Across the world, courageous activists are doing vital work to protect our communities and improve the lives of LGBTQI people. But they lack resources and funding is fragile, especially in the Global South and East. LGBTQI groups receive a tiny fraction of international development aid – just 4p in every £100 awarded by governments.

Our community and allies want to provide support, but it is not always easy to do so. GiveOut’s purpose is to help address this urgent need by providing a platform for our supporters to give tax efficiently in one place to fund LGBTQI human rights activism worldwide. We identify pioneering groups to support through a rigorous process of consultation, due diligence and vetting, guided by our Grant-making Advisory Panel and governed by our Board of Trustees.

We pool the donations we receive to provide grants to LGBTQI organisations around the world, ensuring they have more of the resources they need to defend our communities, tackle inequality and campaign for lasting change.

About the Role

Fundraising and philanthropic advocacy are at the heart of GiveOut’s work. As Senior Philanthropy Officer, you will be a key member of the Philanthropy team, implementing a vital part of our philanthropy programme as we deliver our growth strategy.
 

You will identify, engage, cultivate and steward major donors (high net worth individuals) and charitable foundations to secure high value gifts and grants, grow long term strategic relationships in support of the LGBTQI movement, grow GiveOut's network, and provide a top quality donor experience. 

Working closely with the Head of Philanthropy, you will support them on shaping and executing strategy and work planning, coordinating the donor database and leading on related internal processes, and deputising for the Head externally.

We are open to full time or part time (pro rata) at a minimum of 24 hours, or equivalent to 3 days per week. We are also open to flexible working arrangements to be discussed. Occasional evenings or weekends out of hours will be required, such as for networking or GiveOut hosted events, for which time off in lieu will be granted. 

Key Responsibilities

• Donor and Partner Engagement

  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of major donors and trusts & foundations

  • Prospect Research and due diligence on prospective donors

  • Cultivate strong relationships with prospective and existing donors

  • Write compelling grant applications and funding proposals tailored to trusts & foundations

  • Secure five and six figure partnerships and donations to support GiveOut’s mission to grow giving to support the global struggle for LGBTQI human rights

  • Donor reporting on the impact of their gift through grant partner successes

  • Represent GiveOut at events, speaking engagements, and donor meetings.
     

• Strategy and Leadership

  • Support the Head of Philanthropy on fundraising and philanthropic advocacy strategy and plans aligned with organisational goals

  • Deputise for the Head externally as needed
     

• Operations and Reporting

  • Maintain and optimise fundraising systems, including the donor database (Donorfy) and fundraising pipeline

  • Report back on pipeline and partner development to the Head of Philanthropy

  • Support the Philanthropy Coordinator on finance reconciliation process
     

• Team Collaboration and Culture

  • Work closely with the Communications & Campaigns Officer to create effective donor materials and external communications.

  • Collaborate with the Philanthropy Team Coordinator who supports the Philanthropy Team on reporting, grant applications, events etc. 

  • Contribute to a positive, effective, and collaborative organisational culture, aligned with GiveOut’s vision and values.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Passion for GiveOut’s mission to grow giving for LGBTQI rights and a commitment to advancing LGBTQI rights worldwide.

• Proven experience and success in non-profit fundraising, including individual giving

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders

• Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication for engaging donors and stakeholders.

• Proficiency with fundraising software and databases

Desirable Skills and Experience

• Experience of major donor fundraising with a track record of initiating new relationships and securing four to five figure gifts.

• Experience of securing grants from Trusts & Foundations with a track record of initiating new relationships and securing five to six figure grants. 

• Experience of running cultivation and/or fundraising events 

• Understanding of budgeting and financial forecasting.

• Familiarity with Google Workspace tools, event management tools (e.g. Eventbrite)

• Working knowledge of GDPR
