We're seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Service Manager for a service working with 16 plus children and care leavers. In this role, you will play a vital role in providing effective leadership to an integrated and multi-functional team providing an assessment, support and move on to the young people we accommodate.

Your mission: to motivate and develop the staff team to consistently deliver a high quality and needs led responsive service to young people. Through this the overarching goal is to empower young people through the care system and in the development of lifelong tools they need to lead fulfilling lives outside the confines of traditional services. 

About the Role:

As the Service Manager, you will report to a Regional Service Manager and will be working closely to ensure the services meet our business objectives. You will actively direct the team in their day-to-day work to ensure your young people’s needs are at the centre of the support process and the support provided is personalised and of a high quality. 

You will be working within a strengths and recovery framework embedded within a trauma informed approach to meet the varying needs of young people experiencing a multitude of varying needs including offending behaviour and complex mental health. You will have responsibility of housing management and will work within the management team and internal SHP Central teams to ensure the service are delivered to the highest standard.

Kineara is looking for someone who can grow our fundraising potential and engage key stakeholders across the sector, while delivering engaging communications and outreach campaigns that demonstrate our social value and grow our support base. They will play a key role in helping Kineara develop our newly formed charitable arm, alongside our community interest company, to generate income through engaging fundraising campaigns, impact-driven communications and strategic relationship-building with existing and potential funders. 

You will work closely with project managers and SLT (Senior Leadership Team) to identify how support services can reduce barriers to secure housing, work and school; prevent evictions and homelessness; and improve health and wellbeing of people facing challenges. You’ll use this understanding to motivate new stakeholders to invest in our work - whether charitable trusts, corporate foundations or individuals. 

You will feel real ownership over your work and need to be self-starting, flexible and hungry to grow with an already impactful charity with a strong social mission and vision. You will be keen to understand how our work makes a difference to people and use our impact to demonstrate our social value.  This role crosscuts a range of key charitable specialisms, so you may have experience working in communications and be keen to widen your skillset; you may have a background in impact evaluation; or you may have worked in fundraising or development for a non-profit. Communications   

• Develop, contribute to and implement impact-driven and strategic communications campaigns that build Kineara’s fundraising capacity and raise awareness of the issues

The Unity Project (TUP) supports people who are facing poverty and homelessness because their immigration status allows them ‘no recourse to public funds’ (NRPF). We are seeking an experienced and qualified immigration advisor to manage our specialist casework service. 

We believe NRPF should not exist and we are working to end it. Until then, we seek to minimise its impact by supporting people to make the ‘change of conditions’ (CoC) application to access public funds. We are a small organisation which has achieved national systemic change through the clear strategic focus of our casework. As the number of people affected by NRPF continues to grow, we are looking to take our casework service to the next level so that we can support more individual applicants and deepen our impact.

As Legal Casework Manager, you will oversee the casework process from start to finish, prioritising compassionate and effective support to applicants and ensuring we meet all regulatory requirements, while also holding a limited personal caseload. You will supervise our dedicated team in London, overseeing their professional development and personal wellbeing.  You will also focus on the strategic impact of our project, identifying opportunities for improvement internally, and working closely with our Strategic Casework Lead and external partners to achieve systems change through litigation and other channels.

The Role

CoppaFeel! is looking for a Volunteer Community Manager to lead the day-to-day delivery of our volunteer programmes, ensuring they are effective and impactful for both volunteers and the young people we exist to serve. This role will be integral to implementing CoppaFeel!’s volunteering strategy and helping the organisation deliver on its strategic objectives.

The Volunteer Community Manager will work closely with the Senior Programmes Manager, Volunteer Engagement Executive, and Volunteer Administration Executive to drive volunteer recruitment, retention, and development. Together, they will ensure that volunteer initiatives are well-managed, engaging, and aligned with organisational priorities and values.

The role will also be responsible for embedding monitoring and evaluation frameworks to ensure that volunteer programmes and activities are insight-driven and demonstrate measurable impact.

This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that you will attend the London office 2 days per week. You will also be required to attend the office for quarterly team meetings, department meetings, and in-person training. JOB SUMMARY

Taking overall responsibility for the delivery of a compliant and effective operation, she will provide direct line management for the Pathway Project domestic and sexual violence support, outreach and helpline teams. She will be responsible for the delivery of high quality support within the safe accommodation sites and excellent quality of service within Pathway Projects counselling provision. She will have a focus on excellence and understand the drive for continual improvement and increased performance. She will collaborate with colleagues to drive the development and maintenance of networking and fundraising links within the local community. She will support the CEO in her leadership and development of the organisation. She will be expected to demonstrate the Charity’s values by working positively as part of a team, delivering vital high-quality services to service users, and creating a working culture where all are valued and encouraged.

DUTIES OF POST

1. STRATEGY, PLANNING AND CONTROL

a. To contribute to the setting of long-term Objectives, along with the CEO & Board.

b. To implement and deliver the strategic plan for the operation, adhering to regulatory and financial controls.

c. To ensure the Charity is operated to best practice standards, adhering to regulatory and financial controls. Highlighting to the CEO risk which could cause harm to the ongoing operation of the Charity.

d. Ensure Pathway Project remains responsive to the needs of its service users, staff and trustees and can demonstrate the value of the services provided and the impact of its work.

e. Be an expert on matters relating to Domestic Abuse, and best practice in supporting end users.

2. FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT

a. To be accountable for the delivery of the operation, within defined financial criteria, including business plan & cash flow targets.

b. Support the CEO in providing oversight on the wider financial performance of the Charity.

c. To understand the income generation strategy and collaborate to develop it as required.

d. To support the CEO in the sourcing of funding opportunities and complete any required applications and any required data returns as per funding guidelines.

3. GOVERNANCE

a. To work with the CEO to lead and manage the Charity in accordance with the articles of association and in line with the obligations of the Charity Commission.

b. To support in the development of a best practice operating infrastructure, to allow the Trustee Board to fulfil its statutory responsibilities and exercise effective control.

c. To maintain up to date policies and procedures.

d. To provide support and guidance to the CEO in all aspects of the running of the charity.

e. To ensure accurate record keeping and data security

4. LEADERSHIP

a. To provide role model leadership to the Pathway Project, embodying the charity’s values and behaviours.

5. COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

a. To support Pathway Project in the maintenance and development of community links and fundraising opportunities.

c. To support Pathway Project CEO, managers and Community Engagement Worker with driving Pathway Projects social media agenda in order to build community support.

6. GENERAL MANAGEMENT AND ADMINISTRATION

a. To arrange outreach team/staff meetings which positively support the team.

b. To attend management meetings, and where required, Board or Sub Board meetings.

c. To take part in the equitable recruitment of new staff, to deploy existing staff effectively and to motivate and manage the activity of staff ensuring that they effectively contribute to the achievements of Pathway goals and to their own personal development .

e. To help support the continued use and development of OnTrack case management and database system throughout Pathway Project.

g. To deputise for the CEO where required, alongside other management.

h. To lead on operational projects for the organisation as the main point of contact and oversee work that needs completing, e.g. maintenance of building, service contracts alongside the Finance Manager.

7. OTHER DUTIES

a. To participate and contribute as a senior member of staff towards the development of the Pathway Project.

b. To attend and participate in all relevant meetings, including feeding back to management and trustee meetings and the AGM.

c. To represent Pathway Project and the work it does with external agencies, including written reports and presentations.

• Demonstrable experience of working in the domestic abuse charity sector and expert knowledge of the domestic abuse sector
