What does your role look like:
Quality Oversight: Ensure high-quality early years learning and care at Rosebuds Preschool. Program Development: Design and manage family and child-centered activities in our play, and Family Support initiatives. Collaborate with practitioners to enhance educational offerings and align with best practices.
Multi-Disciplinary Collaboration: Promote integrated working across early years sectors. Engage in collaborative planning with educators, social services, health providers, and community organizations.
Leadership and Management: Advanced Early Years management knowledge, understanding and experience is fundamental to this role. Provide leadership and mentorship to staff, fostering professional development and continuous improvement.
Community Engagement: Organise year-round activities reflecting the Max Roach community's needs. Build relationships with partners to create a robust ecosystem for families.

Requirements:
A passion for working with children, young people and their families. With a recognised qualification in Early Years / Childcare at Level 3 with a proven track record of 5 year's experience in a management / leadership role in an early years setting.
Experience of:

devising and applying a high quality curriculum for young children within the Early Years Foundation Stage.

Fight for Peace is a sport for development charity based in Newham, London. At its core, it is a boxing and martial arts academy with a whole range of in-house youth support services under one roof. Not only Fight for Peace works directly with young people, it also trains and supports grassroots sports clubs in adopting a sports-for-development approach to their sport of physical activity across the UK.
In April 2022, Fight for Peace became one of 120 Sport England Systems Partners. About the Project
The Children and Young People’s (CYP) Community Counselling service is a new Herts Mind Network service, whose aim is to provide accessible, timely and high quality countywide counselling to local children and young people. Our CYP Community Counselling Service will deliver a blend of face-to-face, online, 1:1 and group counselling to enable young people to obtain impactful therapeutic support for the mental health difficulties they are facing, in a way that suits them.
The objectives of the CYP Community Counselling Service are:
- To support the emotional wellbeing of children and young people experiencing mental health issues in Hertfordshire.
- To provide high quality counselling, both face-to-face and online that is tailored to the child or young person and incorporates all facets of their life.
- To promote early intervention and prevention through an accessible and flexible counselling service that champions the strengths and self-resilience of children and young people.
- To work actively, inclusively and collaboratively with local children, young people and their families.
- To be a key partner of the Hertfordshire CYP MHS system, offering and increasing access to community-based help regarding mental health and emotional wellbeing.
About the Role
This CYP Senior Counsellor post is integral to the delivery of this new community-based clinical service, overseeing the day-to-day management and delivery of the service to ensure it operates smoothly, responsively and empathically. The postholder will work clinically within the service, delivering group and 1:1 counselling, whilst also holding responsibility for managing the wider CYP Community Counselling Service workforce. They will conduct both initial contacts and counselling assessments with all CYPF referred to the service, providing a caring and supportive experience from the offset of the CYPF’s journey through the service. The postholder will use their initiative to manage service demand and work with the Service Manager to report on the service’s performance, impact and evaluation. They will proactively develop the service with CYPF at the centre of their decision making, seeking their contribution consistently.
The successful candidate will have A Level 4 qualification diploma or above in counselling, psychotherapy or arts/play therapy AND current registered/accredited/full/qualified membership of one of the following relevant professional bodies (BACP, UKCP, HCPC, BAAT etc.) and a minimum of 2-3 years experience working in a therapeutic or counselling capacity with children, young people and/or families.

We are seeking a highly motivated and driven individual who can help own and manage SSAFA’s Dynamics 365 cloud instances used by our social work, safeguarding and mentoring areas of the business to manage their data workflows. Purpose of the Retail Supervisor role:
You will be supervising day to day retail operational activity and ensuring the provision of consistently high standards of customer care to actively support the strategic priorities of the Museum. The role will help to maximise the commercial return from the Museum’s retail, commercial experiences and supporting operations and delivering an excellent visitor experience.
Key responsibilities of our Retail Supervisor include:

Key responsibilities:
Strategic Financial Management
- Develop and implement the charity’s financial strategy to align it to the charity’s main strategy and support long-term goals.
- Provide financial insights to the leadership team to guide decision-making and resource allocation.

Person Specification
Essential:
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CIPFA) or equivalent financial experience.
- Proven experience in financial management, ideally within a charity or non-profit organisation.
- Strong knowledge of UK charity accounting standards (SORP) and regulatory requirements as they apply to charities.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement financial strategies.
- Proficiency in financial software (e.g. Sage) and Microsoft Excel.

The key duties of the role are as follows:
- Provide high level strategic financial advice in liaison with senior finance colleagues and service managers.
- Build and maintain strong productive relationships with the business and within finance / commercial.
- Provide advice and financial input into the Council’s financial planning processes including input and guidance into business plans and service improvement reviews.
- Identify and report upon any financial risks resulting from changes in political, operational, technological or environmental factors
- Co-ordinate the preparation and submission of the Council’s year end Statutory Accounts for your directorate.
- Drive forward efficiencies by continuously adapting, designing, monitoring and reviewing working practices, procedures and systems.
- Co-ordinate the preparation and submission of the monthly/quarter finance and performance monitoring budgetary control process.
- Actively contribute and participate in budget setting and monitoring and forecasting processes.
The successful candidate will have:
- A full CCAB / CIMA accountancy qualification or be actively studying for one.
- Ideally, a background working in the public sector but this is by no means essential.
- Experience of excellent business partnering support to customers and being able to adapt to differing customer needs.
- Experience in the use of financial modelling and options appraisal techniques, particularly the use of spreadsheets and business intelligence tools (desirable).
- Experience of providing business intelligence that enables managers to take soundly based policy and operational decisions.
- Awareness of potential risks / opportunities / changes in legislation and experience of supporting budget holders through mitigating these risks and embracing opportunities.
- Evidence of operating in a commercial and proactive manner.

Head of Finance
We are seeking a Head of Finance to join a global team, playing a key role in the charity’s mission to end human trafficking and modern slavery.

About the role:
As Head of Finance, you will lead on all aspects of financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance across the charity’s global operations. This includes preparing consolidated financial reports, overseeing audits, and supporting leadership with expert financial analysis to inform decision-making. You will also manage outsourced finance services and any internal finance staff, ensuring best-practice processes are followed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Management and Reporting. Production of consolidated monthly management information

- Regular financial analysis and creation of tools as required to support strategic decision-making.
- Management of the UK operational accounting function aligned to industry best-practice and enabling efficient running of finance operations.

This is a key role within the Operations Department reporting directly to the Operations Director and working closely with Finance and Communications (our fundraising and marketing function). Supporter Care aims to deliver exceptional service to our supporters in terms of administering donations and postal logistics, and via our call-centre. Therefore, a key focus will be the leadership of the Administration and Telephone Support teams (both are within Supporter Care).
A significant objective for this role is the implementation of a new CRM system which is part of UCB’s wider integrated data strategy. Working alongside IT, and Finance in particular, the Head of Supporter Care is responsible for the management of data in the new CRM system. Therefore, you will have knowledge and previous experience of working with CRM systems. Furthermore, you will be responsible for ensuring Supporter Care staff are trained, and associated ways of working are stream-lined.
We expect you to have leadership experience with strong business acumen and service development, educated to degree level or able to demonstrate equivalent experience. As part of UCB’s leadership team you should welcome the challenge of prioritising a busy and diverse workload with the ability and flexibility required to meet tight deadlines and the initiative required to guide the Supporter Care staff through this transition period. About the role:
As Chief Executive Officer you will have overall responsibility for operational delivery and strategic development. About you:

• Experience of managing multiple funding streams, working within tight financial parameters, and producing detailed financial budgets.

The Role
