We are looking for energetic, proactive and self-motivated individual As Evaluation Administrative Assistant you will be responsible for co-ordinating the evaluation of the Boy’s Development Programme, working in collaboration with the Future Men project manager, project co-ordinators and external evaluation team to ensure that the evaluation is implemented and delivered successfully.
The post holder will work with boys from Year 7 to 11 across secondary schools and will be responsible for onboarding boys to the evaluation, liaising with parents and carers to collect informed consent, conducting randomisation, and collecting data at the start and end of support. The post holder will also support the Operations Director with ensuring a successful implementation of the evaluation in line with FM’s vision, mission and values.

The position:

Hours:
This is a full time position of 37.5 hours per week over Monday to Friday.
From 1st July 2024 we are piloting a four day working week across the whole of the UK organisation. This pilot is planned to run for 12 months, at which point a decision will be made by our Board of Trustees as to whether this will become permanent. Success of the trial relies on the organisation being able to achieve the same or improved level of impact in four working days as five, with staff experiencing either the same or improved levels of wellbeing.
During the four day week pilot, working hours for this position will be reduced to 30 hours per week, to be worked across Monday to Thursday, with no reduction in salary. This will be a temporary change to the contractual terms for the successful candidate. The appointed person must be prepared to increase their working hours to 37.5 hours per week if a return to a five-day working week is decided. In the event that THL UK considers before the end of the trial period that the trial is having an adverse operational impact, we reserve the right to bring the trial to end on one month’s notice.

The Role
The role involves managing the effective administration of the Medio-Legal Report Services including liaising with our medico-legal report writers, with instructing solicitors and with clients. It involves scheduling appointments, preparing the documentation to be provided to the writers and dispatching the final reports.
It will involve managing MLR doctors and recruitment and management of volunteers to support these functions, in order to ensure the smooth processing of referrals for medico-legal reports and robust production of these, from the point of acceptance to delivery and invoicing.

What you will be doing
Line managed by the Network Manager, you will have their support and guidance, to deliver the following;
Supporting the CRP network
- Proactively engage and respond to scheme enquiries, providing excellent customer service through email, phone, and social media accounts, troubleshooting to find quick and helpful solutions.
- Provide support and advice to all schemes, sharing relevant information and resources, and assisting with operational issues.
- Improve the ‘networking’ element of existing schemes, to increase the number of network functions and opportunities.
- Undertake visits to schemes across the UK, both independently and with CRP colleagues.
- Organise, devise, and deliver training materials, presentations, and events to support existing and new schemes.

Tempo Time Credits started 15 years ago and is an ambitious movement that empowers, encourages, and engages people from all walks of life, from communities across the UK, to get involved and volunteer. Volunteers earn Tempo Time Credits as part of a reward and recognition which can be exchanged for a range of services and activities provided by our local and national partners.
In these challenging times, community support is more crucial than ever. Tempo stands at the forefront having engaged with 40 commissioned programmes, collaborated with 1,500 charities, empowered over 15,000 volunteers, issued over 1 million Time Credits, cultivated 750+ business venues offering rewards, and pioneered the world's first national Time Credit network.
Funded by Heritage Lottery, the project you'll work on focuses on working with heritage organisations across Neath Port Talbot to increase the number and diversity of their volunteers and to recruit and retain them in a sustainable way.
Key responsibilities:
- Building and Maintaining Relationships: You will build and maintain relationships that support Tempo objectives, seek to understand stakeholder requirements, and support organisations face to face providing advice and guidance around Time Credits.
- Communicating & Influencing: communicate openly and effectively with internal and external stakeholders, create local social media content and newsletters, persuade others using evidence-based knowledge.
- Volunteer Management: You will manage a team of local volunteers in each locality that provide on the ground support and add capacity in the local community.
The Community Partnership & Network Coordinator will have proven experience in managing and building relationships with stakeholders from third, public or business sectors, and monitoring business plans and budgets. The successful candidate will be able to work with senior executives and Government officials, plan and juggle multiple projects at once, and have knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office. You will have attention to detail, planning and organisational skills, and will be able to negotiate both internally and externally.
You will have strong account management skills and have experience of managing or working with volunteers. You will be experienced in working within a role with a varied, demanding workload with the ability to adapt to change, deliver results, and work independently, as well as part of a team. We are looking to recruit a proactive member of the Secretariat team, to deliver high quality, professional services to FIGO. This will be achieved by;

Ensuring effective Administrative Processes within FIGO (incl. meetings support, notetaking, communication, facilities management)

Supporting the Human Resources function at FIGO (incl. recruitment, BREATHE HR and training)

Coordination of Health and Safety/Fire Safety Support

Location: The role is based from FIGO House, Waterloo, London SE1 with 'blended / hybrid working' i.e. with combined office and remote working.
