Your key responsibilities will be flexible. You’ll manage your workload and set objectives, priorities and deadlines with the Head of Fundraising. Your work will include:

Partnerships Fundraising: You’ll lead and grow our partnerships fundraising portfolio by nurturing existing relationships and identifying new prospective partnerships. The Money Advice Supervisor will have a detailed understanding of the money advice system and funder requirements. You will be required to work across all advice channels including digital, face to face and telephone. You will also be expected to provide technical support to our Money Advice team.
The Money Advice Supervisor will undertake the following additional responsibilities:

About the Role
Experience in a VCSE leadership position is essential. The role offers an excellent opportunity to immerse yourself in a fast-growing organisation with the support and backing of a forward-thinking trustee board. You will ultimately act as the gatekeeper for all new business (bids, tenders, commissioned work) and work with the Head of Projects & Fundraising to identify and build strong ongoing partner relationships. Therefore, the successful candidate must possess the people skills to build strong connections within the existing team and be able to represent the whole charity when presenting our service.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring a joined-up approach between communities and programme teams leads to the delivery of a seamless journey for men, from initial awareness of their mental health needs to attendance at a circle, whether online or in-person.
- Develop, implement and continually appraise the plan for ongoing service growth – geographically and through pursuing and building new partnerships.
- Ensure that raising awareness of issues relating to men’s mental health remains a golden thread running through the charity’s entire work and communications, irrespective of whether it results in men accessing Mentell’s services or those of another organisation.
- Work with the Head of Projects & Fundraising and Community Manager to ensure a pipeline of funding from grants, philanthropy, donors and community fundraising.
- Oversee and increase the impact of effective and innovative communications via website, social media and hard-copy promotional materials.

What We’re Looking For

Kids in Need of Defense UK is a collaboration between four award-winning, UK based not for profits that specialise in children’s immigration and asylum law. About the Role

What is the role?
This a 12 Month Maternity contract.
Working within our values and behavioural framework, the role involves closely managing the relationships of our partner organisations (known as Licensed Organisations – LOs) and ensuring those within your portfolio offer quality and inclusive DofE programmes to young people.
While managing these relationships across your portfolio area in Newcastle, Northumberland and South Tyneside, you will also identify and develop new relationships with appropriate educational and community organisations to widen the access of the DofE to young people, particularly those who experience marginalisation.
