- Develop and maintain a comprehensive central database in relation to the programme. (For example; include participant numbers (starters /completers), participants name/ current role /nominating Diocese, programme structure / indicative content, delivery schedules and evaluation points for each cohort in each provider.)
- Lead on the establishment and co-ordination of a learning community drawn from the relevant delivery partner faculty, to meet not less than three times a year; ensuring programme insights and learning are captured, cross referenced with evaluation data and fed into future programme planning and on-going quality improvement.
- Manage administrative support which is provided by a Project Co-Ordinator.
- Coach senior leaders from any of the leadership programmes as the opportunities arise.
- Contribute to writing reports for key bodies when required, including the House of Bishops, the College of Bishops and General Synod if required.
- Deputise for the Head of Senior Leadership Development in internal and external meetings if required
- Contribute to the 'knowledge capital' on leadership in the Church and to the organisational learning that arises from the programmes.
- Participate in discernment panels for the Strategic Leadership Development Programme (SLDP) as required
- Any other duties as required and commensurate with the post.
- Integration of the riches of the Christian tradition with the best of wider leadership development thinking and practice.
- Ongoing development of the new 'Learning Practicum' virtual learning system.
- Developing partnerships with theologians, TEIs, business schools and other leadership development providers and coaches.
- Playing a full part within the Ministry Development Team and wider Church.
- Wise investment of the available budget and good financial controls.
- Sharing good practice and learning with/from other parts of the Church and other partners.
- A salary of £66,186 plus age-related pension contributions between 8-15% of salary. We will also match any pension contributions you make up to an additional 3% of salary.

Look Good Feel Better is a national cancer charity devoted to delivering workshops that help people living with a cancer diagnosis to cope with the physical and emotional side effects of their treatment. About the role

A new partnership has been established between Marie Curie, Macmillan and Race Equality First to launch the End of Life Transformation Programme (Wales). This project aims to fully map the current evidence and experiences of people who have multiple emergency admissions in the last twelve months of life. The project will move on to developing a comprehensive picture of current interventions in place to reduce emergency attendances and then explore the evidence and practical application in Wales of systems in other parts of the UK and Europe.
Working with partners in the health and care system, Cardiff University's Marie Curie Research Centre, policymakers and other key influencers, you will work as part of a team to set out a clear plan for delivering change both nationally and within public services in Wales. On completing the discovery phase of the project, you will work with partners to establish focused test and trial areas to deliver changes to the experiences of people with a terminal illness.

About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Grants Officer to join our dynamic organisation. During this maternity cover, Grants Officer will report directly to the Director of Grants, Contracts and Compliance. They will work across all of Internews’ geographies to provide the highest standard of grant management support to partners receiving higher value grants from us. The incumbent will have a unique opportunity to learn about Internews’ work and to contribute meaningfully to the advancement of our missions across the World.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Grant Management and Compliance
· Provide grant management support to Programme Management Units, country offices and partners. Participate in regional portfolio reviews.
· Support start‐ups of partner projects by coordinating project stakeholders and ensuring that all relevant processes and procedures are in place.
· Develop guidance documents and procedures to enable effective and compliant operation of partner projects. Supports project teams in adapting Internews’ standard sub-granting policies, procedures and toolkits to country contexts.
· Review and sign off on alldue‐diligence assessments in preparation for sub‐granting to partners.
· When requested, support project teams and the Business Officers, in monthly spend and burn rate reviews and donor report submissions
· Monitor the compliance from HQ to satisfy organisational and donorrequirements.
· Monitor the implementation of partner projects to ensure the implementation process is in line with grant agreements; and proposes solutions to implementation issues. Quality‐assure partner reporting, and track co-financing liabilities.
· Provide end-to-end management of partnership agreements, including drafting.
· Participate in project close-outs. Contribute to audit; support the audit manager on queries about sub-grants.
· Maintain records on the organisational grant management system.
Partnerships and Development
· Design and implement grant management and compliance trainings for partners and Internews staff.
· Identify and document best grant management practices from individual grants, works with M&E colleagues to coordinate debriefings with stakeholders.
· Advise development colleagues on key considerations relating to donor and statutory compliance requirements as related to sub-grants.
· Contribute to the development of partner budget proposals to ensure their appropriateness and compliance.
· Transfer grant-management expertise to country offices
· Support country office leadership teams to identify requirements and recruit grant management staff;
· Deliver trainings for key grant management staff in country offices and PMUs.
Expert advice
· Manage and develop the grants expertise at GC&C team ensuring the highest standards of grant management support to PMUs, country offices and regional and multi-country portfolios as required.
· Provide ongoing feedback to the Director of GC&C on required improvement and updates on donor regulations and contractual obligations to ensure organisational knowledge is built and improved continuously, with particular focus on the consistence and continuous improvement of sub-granting processes.
· Ensure good knowledge management across grants, including key project documentation, to enable all teams supporting the grant to access information and provide a fully auditable trail.
· Contribute to annual work planning and budgeting process.
Essential Skills and experience:
· Demonstrated experience in the context of international non-for-profit.
· Strong experience in the development and implementation of grant management processes and procedures.
· Deep understanding of rules of major European donors, including the European Commission, SIDA, and FCDO.
· Proven track record in conducting due diligence on organisations and their policies, ensuring compliance and alignment with standards.
· Proven track record in grant management training and mentorship for grantees.
· Comprehensive understanding of the setup, governance, and business models of non-for-profit organisations and media
· Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English, enabling clear and effective interaction with stakeholders.
· Proficiency in interpreting budgets and accounts, facilitating informed decision-making.
· High IT literacy, including proficiency in grant management systems (preferably U4B), Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
· Demonstrated self-motivation and initiative, with the ability to work autonomously.
· Effective organisational skills, including prioritisation, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of tasks and adherence to deadlines.

This is an exciting time to join Myeloma UK as we launch our new five year strategy.
Our portfolio of grant funded research programmes and projects play an important role in achieving our strategic objectives. These programmes aim to discover and share new knowledge, support the development of clinical trials and answer questions of unmet need in myeloma.
The postholder will ensure the development and effective management of the grants portfolio in line with Myeloma UK procedures, ensuring compliance with AMRC guidelines and charity finance requirements. You’ll ensure grant holders deliver on contractual milestones, manage high level relationships with Principal Investigators and will work closely with the Research Advisory Group and any other specialist groups as required.

Join us as a Housing Management Officer and you could soon be providing vital support to our Housing Manager Lead, as together you help us plan and organise all regulatory housing management activities. On 1st June 2024, Richmond Fellowship, part of Recovery Focus, a national group of charities highly experienced in providing specialist support services to individuals and families living with the effects of mental ill health, drug and alcohol use, gambling and domestic violence merged with Humankind to form a single organisation that provides the joined-up mental health, housing and drug and alcohol support we’ve all known has been needed for decades. In October 2024, Humankind will be renamed to reflect the new organisation.
We are looking for an enthuiastic and driven Head of Fundraising and Development who has a strong track record of success in strategic development and management of six-figure funding partnerships and relationship building.
You will develop and foster relationships with the aim of obtaining financial support for the sustainable development and growth of QEST. Stewarding existing funders and developing new business, the role also presents an opportunity over the long term, once funding is secured, to lead and build a fundraising team at a transformational time in QEST’s development and strategic direction. There is currently a Fundraising Manager.
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Working with the CEO and Fundraising Manager to devise, develop, and deliver a fundraising strategy for QEST to achieve diversification of income (restricted and unrestricted) for the long term with a particular focus on:

- Developing a communications strategy for fundraising with the CEO and Communications Manager; as well as creating fundraising promotional material for print, newsletters, websites and other media as required

- Identifying commercial opportunities, nurturing and converting potential prospects in support of specific activities, projects and overheads

CW+, the official charity of Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, is seeking an experienced and ambitious individual to shape and develop a portfolio of circa 80 donors and prospects and seek new potential donors to support their work.
Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is one of the top ranked and top performing healthcare Trusts in the UK, providing care to a community of over one million people across two hospital sites and twelve community clinics. The Trust is the fourth largest A&E provider in the UK, treating over 300,000 patients each year.
Over the last six years CW+ has grown its fundraising programme extensively and is now seeking a Philanthropy Manager to join their team at a crucial stage in their Thirty at Thirty major appeal – its ambitious programme to raise £30m to celebrate the Trust’s 30th birthday. This will be the largest fundraising drive in the charity’s history and a successful, effective team will be central to its success.
The role will be responsible for cultivating and securing gifts from existing and new high-value donors, with a focus on securing five and six figure donations. The post-holder will initiate, foster and develop rich, long-term relationships with donors capable of giving transformational support to CW+ and develop and grow the current major giving pipeline and portfolio of major gifts from high net worth individuals.

Then this could be the role for you. At the Digital Poverty Alliance, we are looking for our new Development Manager. We need someone who can lead our development function whilst working alongside our CEO, managing a range of fundraising initiatives whilst also using sales techniques to raise awareness of our Industry Forum and school Donation Management Service (DMS).
This is an exciting, high profile and fast-paced role, joining our small team and working alongside partners, schools and our wider stakeholders to effect real change for people. You will report directly to the Chief Executive.
This is an exciting time to join us. Our work splits into two main areas – the first is advocacy and research, where we seek partnerships that will allow us to grow our nationwide campaigns and calls for action, as set out in the DPA’s National Delivery Plan. The second, a growth area for us, is delivery of programmes that help real people – such as our Tech4 suite of initiatives, which support a range of beneficiaries, but commonly young people and families, to access kit, connectivity, skills and support, and our Donation Management Service which works on a school by school basis to ensure parental donations support year groups gain class-wide one to one devices.
The Development Manager will work with the CEO and our team to facilitate this growth in impact, understanding and influence and encourage new partnerships, while ensuring our donors and supporters feel informed and engaged.
As an initiative, the DPA aims to work through partners in delivering to our core mission and, as such, we retain only a small core team. As such, you’ll lead on the fundraising function and the DMS relationships, but work within a highly supportive team where income targets are shared.
Whilst the role is remote based, you will regularly need to attend in-person meetings and events in central London (daytime and evening), as well as undertaking travel across the UK. This will include supporting set up at conferences and events, and may include overnight stays. A driving licence is not essential.
You will be ready to “roll up your sleeves” and get involved in other projects at times, as part of a small and dedicated team, and take on administrative and logistical tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Writing grant applications, bids and proposals to corporates, public sector and third sector organisations as part of formal and informal fundraising application processes.
- Secure new memberships to the Digital Poverty Alliance Industry Forum, a corporate membership scheme for businesses seeking to take action on digital poverty, working with the CEO and colleagues leading on policy and public affairs.
- Lead on bringing in new client schools for the DMS, growing the network of schools and families supported by and supporting this programme.
- Lead the account management process for schools who are part of our Donation Management Service (DMS) programme, retaining existing customers.
- Work with CEO and SMT to create and maintain strong fundraising partnerships with large and small organisations key to our work.
- Work with the CEO to spot new opportunities for initiatives with an eye to developing new corporate partnerships and sponsorships, whilst working within the resources of a small organisation.
- Identifying grant routes, commissioning opportunities, potential consultancy clients and donor opportunities, including prospect research.
- Iterate our fundraising strategy for increasing income, including developing new ideas to drive revenue.
- Provide support to the CEO who manages the largest strategic partnerships.
- Contribute to marketing, PR, social media and related communications activities in relation to partner activities and digital fundraising, including leading the marketing strategy for the DMS.
- Prepare high quality collateral and assets to support partnership working, including presentations and reports.
- Work with colleagues to role model best practice in partnership development.
- Project manage initiatives related to fundraising, using recognised tools and techniques.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the digital poverty landscape, including across policy, research and interventions, to inform partner development.
NB: This role will require attending meetings in London and travel across the UK, and may include occasional evening work or overnight stays. As part of a small team, this will include attending conferences, exhibiting on behalf of the DPA, and supporting other events.

Purpose of the Post
To lead insight and impact of the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector across Bradford District and Craven, including developing and managing the Impact and Insight function for the VCS Alliance. To ensure the work of the VCSE sector is founded on good insight and that the impact can be presented clearly to wide range of audiences across the Bradford District and Craven Health and Care Partnership system. You will work in partnership with data and intelligence colleagues in Public Health and the NHS, promoting equitable outcomes for all community members.
Duties and Responsibilities
- To lead, on behalf of the VCSE sector, and in collaboration with system partners, the development of a shared set of metrics to measure the impact of the sector’s work, particularly in taking pressure off front line health and care services.
- Lead the development and implementation of an approach to demonstrate the impact of the work of VCS partners and their contribution to reducing inequalities.
- Work in collaboration with other voluntary sector infrastructure partners and their data and insight leads to help develop a joined up and collaborative approach to impact and insights across and on behalf of the VCSE sector.
- Develop, maintain and manage good relationships with a broad range of partners including, Local Authority, NHS partners, VCSE partners.
- Gather local, national, and international insight and learning to help inform investment decisions and the evolution of the VCS Alliance and its delivery partners’ work.
- Provide insight and learning for VCS Alliance staff, and VCSE advocates across the health and care system, to help them inform, advocate, influence and/or inspire.
- Present insights to a wide range of audiences, which includes senior leaders from different sectors, for a range of purposes including informing, advocating, influencing, and inspiring.
- To work in collaboration with system partners, including ICB and public health staff, to access relevant data that be translated into insight required to demonstrate impact of the VCSA and its delivery partners and wider VCSE organisations.
- Support the monitoring, learning, evaluation of programmes for the VCS Alliance and its delivery partners.
- Produce regular reports which help demonstrate the impact and learning of the work of the VCS Alliance and its delivery partners.
- Support the continued development of insight collection methods across a variety of projects.
- Engage in insight and impact conversations on behalf of the VCS Alliance with colleagues with similar roles across the BDC ICB system and the wider VCSE sector.
- Liaise with external evaluation agencies as required, ensuring that their insight is integrated within the VCS Alliance impact and insight system.
- Assist the Operations Director in managing all aspects of GDPR on behalf of the VCS Alliance, including acting in the role of Caldicott Guardian.
General Requirements

Special conditions
As part of this role, you will be required to work and travel across the Bradford District and Craven. While the VCS Alliance supports hybrid working, there is an expectation that you will be based at the office for at least two days per week.
