Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Community Outreach Manager to manage and expand our outreach efforts. The Community Outreach Manager will be responsible for leading a team to deliver Betknowmore UK's Community Outreach services, engaging with local communities, and supporting individuals impacted by gambling harms.
This is a key leadership role that involves overseeing the service’s strategy, operations, and delivery, ensuring that services are accessible, effective, and meet the needs of diverse communities.
The Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) -Disclosure

Key responsibilities and accountabilities
1. Leadership and Team Management:

2. Service Delivery and Development:
- Oversee the delivery of community outreach initiatives aimed at raising awareness of gambling harm and providing support to individuals and communities.
- Ensure the team is effectively engaging with local organizations, community groups, and other stakeholders to increase the visibility of our services.
- Monitor the quality of service delivery and make improvements where necessary to meet the needs of service users.
- 3. Strategic Planning and Service Improvement:
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement the strategic direction for community outreach services, ensuring alignment with Betknowmore UK's wider objectives.
- Continuously evaluate service effectiveness, gathering feedback from stakeholders, service users, and team members to drive continuous improvement.
- Lead the development and implementation of outreach campaigns and partnerships to engage at-risk communities.
4. Reporting and Compliance:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of outreach activities and case management, ensuring compliance with confidentiality and safeguarding procedures.
- Prepare and present regular reports on service performance, including outcomes, challenges, and achievements.
- Ensure that all outreach services meet organisational standards, as well as external regulatory requirements
5. Stakeholder Engagement and Networking:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including community organizations, local authorities, and support services.
- Represent Betknowmore UK at community events, conferences, and other networking opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with other service lines within the organization to ensure a holistic approach to supporting individuals with gambling-related harm.
Key Requirements
Essential:
- Must be London based as you will be required to attend community events and in-person meetings within the Greater London area.
- Significant experience in a leadership or managerial role within a social services, community outreach, or public health setting.
- Demonstrable experience in managing outreach or support services, with a focus on community engagement and impact.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to work independently, manage a team, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to analyse data and use insights to improve service delivery and outcomes.
- Commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of work.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
Desirable:
- Knowledge and understanding of gambling harm, its impact on individuals and communities, and the available support systems.
- Experience of working in or with the gambling sector, or experience of working with vulnerable or at-risk populations.
- A relevant qualification in social care, public health, or community outreach.
- Knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures.

What is the overall purpose of the role?
At Youth Action Alliance, our mission is to support the personal and social development (their values, beliefs, ideas and skills) of the young people living in Kensington and Chelsea and neighbouring boroughs, enabling them to increase their resilience and skills in the present and promote their ambitions for the future.
We are ambitious to grow, to continue supporting more young people and influence positive change. The Staying Connected project provides weekly one-to-one and group support for young people aged 11 - 19 years, facing multiple challenges. Creating a personal action plan comprised of positive activities that promote and enhance personal development and skills, building on young people’s strengths. This engagement is via face-to-face, online platforms, mobile phones and structured group work to maintain contact with them, talking about how they are feeling and providing advice, mentoring and signposting to additional support services.
Key Responsibilities
Programme management
- Support with the planning and delivery of an innovative, cohesive and progressive programme of delivery for Staying Connected (focusing on personal and social development skills).
- Recruit, Engage and support young people 11-19 years to participate in the Staying Connected programme
- Increase our local partnership work, adding value and additional expertise to the London youth support infrastructure
- Adhere to the Staying Connected provision Risk Assessment as/when required and carry out regular health and safety checks.
- Support with the promotional activity of the project and events to raise of our profile i.e via social media, website, offline marketing etc

Founded in 1991, The Anne Frank Trust UK is the UK partner of the Anne Frank House Amsterdam. The Trust has a 30-year record of empowering young people to challenge prejudice, inspired by Anne Frank and the antisemitism that she experienced through the Holocaust.
Education Delivery Specialists are the front-line delivery posts for all programmes, leading workshops, training peer educators and mentoring ambassadors across the country. You will be committed to equality with the skills to engage 9 to 15-year-olds through learning and empowerment. You will join a dedicated team, passionate about young people, and committed to empowering them to challenge prejudice.
Key responsibilities
- Programme Delivery: You will plan and deliver educational programmes for young people (ages 9-15) focused on challenging prejudice, empowering them with knowledge and skills. You will book programmes into schools, maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, and lead workshops and online sessions. You will prioritise equality and diversity, emphasising inclusive educational activities and impact.
- Training, Mentoring and Support: You will train young people as peer educators and Ambassadors to disseminate anti-prejudice messages effectively, and provide mentoring, offering support and guiding them.
- Events: You will organise events, study trips, and projects with Ambassadors and communities, working to targets, curriculum, and quality standards. You will monitor and evaluate activities, maintaining records.
- Database and Fundraising Support: You will maintain comprehensive records on the Trust's databases and contribute occasionally to fundraising efforts, such as grant applications and supporting at donor events.
The Education Delivery Specialist will have substantial experience of running learning activities with groups of young people, including aged 9-15 years, and experience of engaging with and meeting the needs of disadvantaged young people. You will also have experience of providing pastoral/emotional support, working successfully as part of a team, and keeping records and writing reports. You will have knowledge of best practice in teaching and/or youth empowerment, as well as be familiar with the needs and issues of young people. You will understand and have ideas about how to challenge prejudice, and an understanding of safeguarding. You will be highly organised, with excellent administration skills, and able to build and maintain effective relationships. You will use your initiative, creativity, and energy to solve problems and develop new ways of working. You will have an inspiring presentation style with warm, professional interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic about Anne Frank and the work of the Anne Frank Trust UK.
The role is home-based within the Essex region or in East London (Colchester or Southend are preferred). Ideally you will have access to appropriate working space which can be discussed at interview. There will be frequent local and regional travel and occasional UK-wide travel and overnight stays. Expenses are covered and time off in lieu is given for evening and weekend work. You will have a current valid UK driving licence and access to a car. The role is subject to an advanced DBS check on appointment, and references.

Kings Global Health Partnerships (KGHP) are excited to recruit for the new KGHP Fellowship to support systems strengthening across our partner countries.
We are looking for senior Medics, Nurses, Midwives, Paramedics or Allied Health Professionals with relevant experience to support the UK Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO)-funded, Saving Lives Phase III programme in Sierra Leone. The programme aims to support the Government of Sierra Leone (GoSL) to deliver on improving maternal, child and reproductive health outcomes in the country, whilst strengthening health systems for a sustainable solution.
KGHP is leading a Clinical Mentorship programme across six districts in Sierra Leone to support Nurses and Midwives with vital lifesaving skills. The Fellows will support the development of a hospital education team underpinned by a continued professional development framework. Each member of the new education team will undergo a Leadership in Education programme delivered by the Fellow which will be co-created with the hospital management team.
Two recruited Fellows in each district will support the education team set up morning teaching sessions which will be rolled out across the hospital. The education team will also conduct clinical mentoring on the wards supported by the Fellow. As part of this Mentorship cascade system, hospital education teams will visit community health centres to support smaller rural health clinics in a knowledge exchange programme.
The Fellows will lead and support this exciting workforce and education development programme which is embedded in a large system strengthening project supported by a Concern Worldwide-led consortium of six NGOs across Sierra Leone.
This is a 12-month Fellowship opportunity. There are two cohorts, starting May 2025-May 2026 and August 2025-August 2026.
Academic & Professional qualifications:

• Doctors with minimum 3 years’ experience - post foundation programme.

Programmes
Support the team in improving logistics, operations, and collaboration with the café team. Ensure seamless integration of internal and external processes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
Employment Programme
Lead the strategic direction of the employment programme, securing 15+ employer partnerships annually. Monetise the programme, manage contracts and payments, and organise the annual Fair Shot employment network event. Build and maintain a database of employer partners, working with the Marketing Manager on newsletters and engagement. Support graduates and past employers while continuously improving programme growth and sustainability. Represent Fair Shot at career fairs, panels, and events, ensuring strong employer relationships. About the Role:
As the Educational Partnerships Manager, you will play a vital role in connecting with schools, colleges, and youth clubs across North East London, with a particular focus on those based in the most disadvantaged communities. You’ll be a key member of YE’s Educational Partnerships Regional Team, collaborating closely with the Educational Partnerships Regional Manager to drive the success of our enterprise and financial education programmes. This is a dynamic and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You will engage directly with young people and teachers in schools, delivering and supporting YE’s programmes, while developing new relationships and strengthening existing partnerships.
