Beyond their funding, they want to be a leading voice in championing accessible, inclusive and sustainable sport and physical activity, so that everyone – regardless of age, ability or background – can lead an active life.

Our client is seeking a new Group Communications & Public Affairs Director to lead strategic communications, public affairs, and advocacy for the Charitable Foundation and Events Company. The senior leadership role will report into the Group CEO, manage the Communications and Customer Engagement teams and collaborate with key departments to deliver the Group’s communications strategy.

Group Communications & Public Affairs Director
£80,000 - £90,000 per Annum + Benefits
Hybrid – 2 Days per Week in Central London Office


In this role, you will shape and deliver the Group’s communications strategy, manage high-profile stakeholder relationships, oversee crisis and reputation management, and will also lead on development of an advocacy strategy to drive policy change supporting children and young people's physical activity.

We are seeking candidates with:

  • Proven record in strategic communications, campaign delivery, and reputation management
  • Strong relationship management skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels
  • Knowledge of national government operations
  • Passion for promoting physical and mental health benefits through physical activity
