Westway Trust is seeking a full-time Project Coordinator to coordinate projects that support the Trust’s position within the North Kensington community.  You will be an experienced and enthusiastic Coordinator who will be committed to supporting and enhancing the lives of people in the local community.

Key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

• To coordinate the delivery of Projects, starting first with the Money Club project. Plus other small project initiatives including providing administrative support to the Community Engagement team.
• To coordinate with partner organisations the delivery of activities, workshops and events for the Project(s).
• To support with collecting data, case studies and testimonials to measure the Project(s) impact and assess gaps in the project for development. 
• To coordinate volunteers and other forms of support that come through from partner organisations that may be required for the Project(s).
• To support with ongoing outreach and communications efforts regarding the Project(s) and any other organisational projects and campaigns.
• Assist with community events as required (occasional evening and weekend work will be required).
• Perform basic financial activities.

Experience, knowledge and skills:

• Minium of 4 years work experience including experience of coordinating projects.
• A track record of working collaboratively with partners and stakeholders.
• Experience of community engagement and an ability to work on your own initiative.
• Ability to oversee and manage project contributors including staff, partners and volunteers.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to be flexible and adaptable in response to developing priorities.
• Interpersonal skills for both workplace and external representation contexts, operating with enthusiasm, flexibility, energy and commitment.
• Connection to or significant understanding of the local area and its social and cultural heritage would be highly desirable.
• Community work experience is desirable.

Development Group generates philanthropic and sponsorship income to help us create a Natural History Museum for the future – investing in capital development, attaining vital acquisitions for the collection, transforming our galleries, developing innovative exhibitions and undertaking ground-breaking scientific research on issues that affect us all.

The Museum is looking for a natural relationship builder and excellent communicator for the role of Philanthropy Manager (Trusts and Foundations). Working closely with the Senior Philanthropy Manager (Trusts and Foundations) and based within the wider Philanthropy team, the role will support delivery of the trusts and foundations strategy.

We launch a major capital campaign in the autumn to restore and revitalise a significant proportion of our galleries, which will engage and inspire millions more advocates for our planet. There is real potential for this role to build a rich portfolio of trusts and foundations and contribute significantly towards the Museum's most ambitious ever campaign.

About you

The successful candidate will possess experience in securing and managing grants from trusts and foundations, including research, crafting compelling proposals, and effective stewardship. They will have exceptional written and oral communication skills, with an ability to convey detailed information in a concise and engaging manner.

An ability to establish productive relationships with a variety of funders, prospects and colleagues is imperative, as well as being able to work proactively and constructively with colleagues to develop high-quality project proposals. This person is able to act as an ambassador for the Natural History Museum amongst a range of high-profile external contacts. They possess exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills and can prioritise and meet regular deadlines whilst working under pressure.

We are looking for an experienced, strategically minded and solutions focused Senior Operations Manager to join us here at the Royal College of Radiologists (RCR) as part of our Exams Team. 

The RCR creates and delivers exams on the behalf of the General Medical Council (GMC) to assess doctors qualifying as Clinical Oncologists (cancer doctors) and Radiologists (doctors who diagnose through medical imaging). The Senior Operations Manager will oversee the work of the operational exam delivery team, working at a high level to realise our growth plans. 

As a dynamic leader, you will create medium- and long-term plans to grow exam capacity, both domestically and globally, recognising that the number of candidates completing their exams directly impacts the growth of our specialties. This will include monitoring and responding to changes in demand for exams, optimising pricing models and identifying and delivering operational efficiencies. You will achieve this by motivating and enthusing your direct reports and the wider team, connecting them to the bigger picture and ensuring they are reaching high levels of performance.

To be successful in this role you will have a significant level of operational and financial management experience, including the ability to manage budgets within a complex financial picture and long-term strategic planning skills. You will also have the ability to identify and mitigate risks in delivery, ensuring that the RCR maintains its reputation as offering world class qualifications. 

You will be a pivotal player within the exams team ensuring operational efficiency and an excellent service are part of the seamless delivery of our high-stakes exams. The Financial Transactions Supervisor provides support to the finance team and is responsible for ensuring all financial transactions are processed in an efficient and effective way, and bad debt is kepy to a minimum.

This is a fixed term contracted expected to last approximately 12 months to cover a period of maternity leave.

What you are here to do:

You are the primary assistant for the Society. Grants fundraising is of particular importance to the role, and the successful candidate will be the lead person responsible for securing funding for our campaigning and organising work and maintaining strong relationships with donors.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about addressing health, climate, racial and economic injustice and the health impacts of conflict and militarisation, and who understands the vital role that health professionals have in making the connections between these issues and working for peace, to make the world a better, fairer and safer place.

You will have an understanding of the national and international framework within which Medact operates, and you will be able to demonstrate that your values and politics align with those of our organisation. Ideally you will have experience of working in health or with health workers, so that you have an appreciation of the culture within which they work and the potential of their contribution.

You will have strong leadership skills so that, valuing the collaborative approach of our team and respecting varying views, you are able to arrive at clear decisions. You will also have a track record in fundraising in similar fields and a good knowledge of a range of potential supporters.

This role will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of LSESU spaces across its buildings and our state-of-the-art Sport and Recreational facilities in the Marshall Building and Saw Swee Hock, including service standards, health and safety, compliance, and business development.

About the job
 

This role will be responsible for the operational management of all LSESU buildings and our state-of-the-art Sports and fitness facilities in the Marshall Building and Saw Swee Hock, administering facility bookings and responsible for all health and safety and compliance of these spaces. They will ensure student community focused results are delivered through exceptional customer service to LSE’s diverse membership and other users. 
 

This role will deliver income from external hire of facilities, to drive surplus, develop offers, improve quality, customer service and inclusivity, seeking diversification of activity and income opportunities. And they will manage a team consisting of permanent and student staff, external contractors, and volunteers.

About the role

We’re looking to recruit a Senior Communications and Engagement Officer to join the friendly CharityComms team to help us plan, organise and deliver communications and engagement outputs that support the needs of members, and drive organisational development.

A core part of the job will be overseeing the CharityComms’ social media work, by managing our channels, creating content, and delivering on our social media strategy to engage people and increase our brand profile.

Other key tasks include content creation and commissioning projects for our website, and having a supporting role in other general communications, engagement and marketing activity and administration as needed. Location

CharityComms is a thriving membership network of communications professionals working in UK charities. Our amazing community is made up of more than 750 charities, adding up to almost 12,000 people.

Purpose of the role 

You will be working with the Communications and Engagement team to promote CharityComms and what we offer, through the creation and development of effective and engaging content, and community and stakeholder engagement. 

Communications and content are at the heart of this role, and we’re looking for someone with demonstratable experience in strategic, content-based projects, including commissioning and editing content from external stakeholders, social media management and content creation, and community management. 

Social media management and community engagement 

You will own the social media management of our channels, maximising their performance and supporting stakeholder engagement with our work. You will:

• Deliver and adapt a creative and engaging social content strategy with the Communications and Engagement Manager that meets our wider business aims and objectives. 
• Craft key organisational messaging into engaging social media content and posts to generate conversations. 
• Be responsible for creating, scheduling and managing social content using Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and our management tool, Sprout Social. 
• Responsible for maintaining upkeep of social analytics reporting, as directed by the Communications and Engagement Manager, to ensure activity supports wider marketing, communications and engagement strategies. 
• Continuously improve our social media presence and brand profile, including recommending and piloting new approaches to content and channel development to increase community engagement and meet targets. 
• Manage and monitor forum and social media groups and act as facilitator of conversations where needed, working closely with relevant colleagues and stakeholders. 
• Grow and deliver ways to increase engagement with new and existing audiences, including regular engagement activity on member’s posts (sharing, liking) and ensuring our member network is up to date within these channels. 

Content commissioning and creation 

Working proactively and collaboratively with the Communications and Engagement Manager to deliver our content plans. You will:

• Deliver and adapt our communications and engagement strategy to meet our objectives.
• Play an active role in content creation and marketing activity – including designing, producing and editing creative content i.e. graphics, photography, videos. 
• Develop, coordinate and update long-form pieces for our website, i.e. best practice guides and templates. 
• Have remit to commission content projects – using own initiative to develop initial pitches relevant to charity communicators and oversee the commissioning process. 
• Work with external providers where necessary to develop resources and creative materials where required. 
• Stay up to date with current communications, marketing and content trends, to advise the wider CharityComms team on best practice regarding content and campaigns, including accessibility. 

Website and email comms 

Working collaboratively with teams where needed or taking key roles to:

• Edit, upload, and publish content on the CharityComms website as directed. 
• Work with the Communications and Engagement Manager to continuously deliver on website strategy activities.
• Work alongside the Communications and Engagement Manager to deliver eNews campaigns. This could include commissioning, writing, research, proof-reading, scheduling, maintaining lists and reporting on performance as needed. 
• Actively provide feedback to the Communications and Engagement Manager and Head of Membership and Insight on planned activities and make recommendations for improvements. 

Other activities 

• Ability and confidence to deputise for the Communications and Engagement Manager where necessary.

Reporting to the Finance and Pensions Manager, this plays a pivotal role in developing and continuously revising the CTO's budgets, financial rules, and regulations. The post holder will control all areas of expenditure and on the revenue side, the Accounting Officer will ensure all receivables are accounted for, actualised, and appropriately posted. The Accounting Officer will ensure the accounting software package is optimised and will be expected to prudently manage the CTO's cash flow and investment activities. The incumbent will work closely with the IT Administrator to develop and/or revise the accounting system that will be used by the CTO.

We are looking for a detail-oriented accounting professional with significant experience in a similar capacity in an organisation with a comparable scope and complexity. You will have strong finance and accountancy experience, as well as solid analytical skills and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The Donmar Warehouse raises more money as a percentage of income than any other subsidised theatre in the country. Each year we raise around half of our turnover from a strong combination of individuals, corporates, and trusts and foundations.

The Senior Individual Giving Manager (SIGM) plays a vital role in the Development department during an exciting time in our theatre's history. This role leads on planning and delivery for the Donmar's membership scheme as well as Major Donors up to £10,000.

Delivering excellent customer service to individual donors, the SIGM will ensure the timely renewal of annual memberships and fulfilment of all benefits, working with the Membership Officer to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operations. This role will also work closely with the Head of Philanthropy to establish the strategy for the team, identifying further income opportunities from prospects and existing supporters across our productions and participation programmes, and leading on the delivery of campaigns.

Terms: Permanent, Full Time

Work Pattern: Hybrid working is available once the probation period has been completed and with prior agreement with line manager.
