ABOUT THE ROLE:
As our Individual Giving Manager you will organise and oversee all our individual giving activities. You will develop income and engagement from individuals working across a range of income streams including but not limited to Regular Giving, Philanthropy, Legacy, Appeals and Lottery.
You will also oversee strategy with a view to gaining ongoing growth, through developing engaging fundraising campaigns and delivering high quality, timely and personalised stewardship to recruit new and retain existing supporters.
You’ll be an experienced fundraiser with a proven track record of using a variety of direct marketing techniques to grow Individual Giving. You will work closely with our MarComms team to create content across various channels ensuring relevant and engaging communications are sent to supporters across email, BHWT newsletters, social media, BHWT magazine and video.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
- To develop and deliver strategy across Individual Giving in an effort to maximise income.
- To steward and recruit donors whilst developing and retaining regular and cash givers.
- To manage a calendar of compelling fundraising projects and campaigns including direct marketing appeals across electronic, postal and social media channels.
- To utilise insight and data to set, monitor and evaluate campaigns and revenue performance.
- Management of our BHWT lottery.
- To build and nurture effective relationships with a number of segments including major donors, regular givers and pledged legators, increasing value and loyalty from new and existing donors.
- To examine supporter data to identify patterns and trends, helping to build and develop insights into BHWT supporters.
- To segment various data audiences for postal appeals using Salesforce.
- To explore and test new methods for donor recruitment and retention.
- To analyse and report on fundraising activities to maximise return on investment and feed key findings to the CEO.
- Collaborate closely with MarComms to build understanding and support across the organisation whilst delivering rewarding, interconnected projects and appeals.
- To create and update donor records ensuring accuracy and consistency at all times.
- To provide support to other areas of fundraising where appropriate.
- To undertake ad hoc tasks from time to time as required.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- A strong empathy for animal welfare and the work of the BHWT
- Demonstrable successes in growing income across multiple IG revenues with a wide range of activities, campaigns, and appeals
- Proven experience of researching, evaluating, testing and implementing successful fundraising products or activities
- Experience of utilising performance metrics and KPIs for donor acquisition, cost-benefit, and return-on-investment analyses
- Proven experience of campaign management and delivery
- Track record of developing and optimising supporter-focused content and products that increase reach and engagement across a wide range of channels
- Experience of using a fundraising database and segmenting relevant fundraising data
- Ability to drive success and inspire others to ensure relevant targets and standards are met
- Ability to prioritise and manage a busy programme to ensure the smooth running of a full calendar
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and persuade a wide range of stakeholders including suppliers, supporters, and colleagues
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively to different types of audience through various channels
- Thorough knowledge of fundraising regulations and data protection
- Experience of using Microsoft Office Suite

About the Role
In this strategic post as the Community and Business Development Manager for Essex you will play a key role in overseeing our existing work and also contributing to the development of future work within the region. 8. Play a key role in monitoring and evaluation plans, through collecting, analysing and sharing data (quantitative and qualitative) working with the TAWS Data & Insight team.

To engage with children, young people and their families and deliver a combination of advice and signposting, 1:1 sessions, groups and workshops, online and telephone interventions to improve their mental health and wellbeing.
We are looking to recruit an empathic, warm, friendly, hard-working and flexible person who is passionate about improving children and young people’s emotional wellbeing and mental health. They must be a team player with excellent communication and organisational skills, able to prioritise and manage their own workload. They must be able to work independently within the community.
To help assess the needs and strengths of the referred child or young person and help them identify individual goals to achieve desired change.
To deliver and assist with the evaluation of interventions for children and young people which aim to improve mental health and well-being, build on existing strengths, and increase levels of resilience.
Record and collect data with various tools such as goal-based outcomes (GBO’s) and use this to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions.
To take responsibility for own caseload of children, young people, and families some with complex and multiple needs with support from senior Emotional Wellbeing and Mental Health (EWMH) staff.
To help involve children, young people, and their parents in the co-production of programmes, activities and services.
To work collaboratively with partner organisations in the Surrey Wellbeing Partnership, Surrey and Borders NHS Partnership, Surrey Children’s Services, local CAMHS/CYPS teams, schools, and other community-based services to provide the most effective service for children, young people and families. To keep accurate records of individual engagement, evidence of change and celebrate progress with children and young people.
To provide, record and report the appropriate data to ensure support programmes can be accurately monitored and evaluated.
To apply safeguarding and child protection procedures.
To help provide written case studies as evidence of the effectiveness of individual interventions.
To work as part of a team and attend team meetings, training events and participate fully in one to one, peer and group supervision.
The jobholder may be required to carry out other duties as directed by the EWMH Services Manager, the responsibility level of which should not exceed those outlined above.
Occasional evening work required (with a corresponding later start time or possibility to claim time off in lieu).
Any other duties are required to be performed within the grade and renumeration of the role.

Your role
We’re looking for an experienced social media professional who has the expertise to lead the delivery of the RNLI’s social media strategy and approaches across both paid and organic, advising and supporting a wide range of stakeholders at all levels of an organisation in order to help save lives at sea.
As Senior Social Media Manager, key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the delivery of paid and organic content, as well as community management, across our channels
- Line managing a team of social media specialists
- Providing strategic and outcomes-focused responses to marketing briefs
- Driving forward social media fundraising for the RNLI
- Procuring, implementing and managing relevant social media tools and software
- Innovating in the social media space, including launching new channels
- Leading on the social media elements of crisis communication responses
We are a 24/7 emergency service. You will be required to occasionally be part of the social media rota system which includes shifts between 9am-8pm (Monday to Friday) and some weekend working.
Hybrid with the expectation to travel to Poole once a month.
About you
To be considered for the Senior Social Media Manager role, you will have substantial experience leading on organic and paid content and the strategic use of social media within a large organisation, as well as experience of line management and stakeholder management.
