- Support the planning and delivery of targeted campaigns for new and existing supporters
- Coordinate campaign materials with external suppliers, ensuring they align with the charity brand and are delivered on time and within budget

- Support and grow the acquisition of new members through face to face, digital, and telemarketing channels
- Assist in managing fundraising events and community fundraisers, ensuring excellent stewardship

- Occasionally travel within the UK to support fundraising events

The Role: Family Support Worker (Bereavement)
As a Family Support Worker at Addiction Family Support, you will provide crucial emotional and practical assistance to individuals bereaved by the loss of a loved one due to addiction. You will be responsible for delivering a range of services to provide support to people bereaved (and affected) by someone else’s harmful use of alcohol, drugs or gambling. Through both individual and group support, you will offer a compassionate and understanding presence, helping people navigate grief and loss in a safe and supportive environment.
Our service delivery takes place via several methods, including taking calls on our telephone Helpline, responding to emails through our email service and delivering the 5-Step Method intervention to individuals, couples and groups and facilitating group support via an online platform.
Working patterns are flexible to allow our services to run from 9am and 9pm 7 days a week. You may be expected to work on a rota basis, covering shifts during this period.
We would hope to be able to offer more hours per week in time when funding allows it.
You will need to be confident in your ability to provide support via a variety of remote and digital platforms, being able to respond to immediate requests for support. You will be an active and involved member of our team and contribute to all aspects of our work to help us achieve our strategic goals and work towards achieving our vision.
Responsibilities:
- Offer empathetic and non-judgmental emotional support to those affected by the bereavement of a loved one due to addiction (via a Helpline and adapted 5-Step Method).
- Provide information, literature, and resources to help individuals and groups manage grief and cope with their situations.
- Facilitate or co-facilitate bereavement support group meetings, creating a safe space for participants to share their experiences and provide mutual support.
- Respond to inquiries and offer structured emotional support through helplines or support groups, following guidelines and safeguarding practices.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in line with GDPR and the charity’s policies.
- Ensure safeguarding concerns are addressed promptly and signpost individuals to additional services where appropriate.

About the Role
upReach is recruiting for our unique Future Charity Leaders Programme (FCLP). About the FCLP
upReach’s Future Charity Leaders Programme (FCLP) is a graduate programme combining delivery work (supporting our Associates) with exposure to a range of aspects of charity management.
As a Programme Coordinator on the FCLP you will be delivering personalised employment-focused support to a cohort of approximately 80 Associates, helping transform their lives by equipping them with the necessary skills to secure a top graduate job. During a typical week, you should expect to be working across a range of projects including 1:1 undergraduate coaching, group workshops, webinars (we refer to them as Video Forums), partnership management (with university partners or employer partners) and more!
In addition to this, the programme offers the opportunity to develop skills in key areas of charity management by participating in 3 rounds of six-month 'rotations'. After your initial 18 months and the completion of 3 six-month rotations, you will have the opportunity to undertake an apprenticeship in Leadership and Management to further develop your skills.
Throughout the programme, you will receive dedicated internal training developing your leadership skills and building your confidence in the role.
Through our partnership with The Circle Line, you will be part of a supportive peer group, offered regular personal development training workshops online and in-person on their '12 Tools for Life'. You will also be able to choose your own practitioner to support you with 1:1 sessions throughout the programme to help you unlock more of your unique potential.
What will I be doing?
The FCLP is a fast-paced but rewarding role. Programme Coordinators spend 80% of their time (4 days per week) working directly with associates to enhance their career knowledge and skills and 20% (1 day per week) on a charity management rotation (or an apprenticeship after 18-months). No two days are the same, but your responsibilities may include:

Northern Roots is transforming 160 acres of urban greenspace into a destination for learning, leisure and growing. The role involves liaising with school staff, local partners (including the Military and local businesses) and volunteers to ensure programmes meet the needs of our young people and is supported by the Regional Manager, North Wales.
The successful candidate will be based from home with a requirement to travel to partner schools and business sites in and around Anglesey, Bangor and occasionally along the A55 corridor. Fuel expenses are paid and travel time is included as part of working hours. Working with secondary schools to provide early support programmes, core delivery time is usually within the school working day and during school terms only. All other working hours can be managed with flexibility by the post holder to ensure that all administrative tasks are completed as required.

The Policy and Public Affairs Officer is an exciting and influential role as you will work with the Policy and Public Affairs Manager (Wales), Head of Devolved Nations and colleagues across the College to develop and deliver policy and communications activity for Wales.
As Policy and Public Affairs Officer (Wales) you will work with key stakeholders to coordinate and develop policy position statements unique to Wales, coordinating and producing draft responses to consultations in Wales, whilst supporting colleagues across the College with expertise on the political, governmental and health service landscape in Wales.

Role summary
The Director of Admissions and Service Development (DASD) will play a pivotal role in shaping our admissions processes and service offer through utilising deep subject matter expertise of the needs and landscape for CYA with complex needs. Seashell’s national and regional networks will be strengthened and utilised through the DASD leadership of our ‘Complex Needs Mapping’ programme of work. They will promote Seashell’s role as a strategic partner, working in collaboration with commissioners and service providers to ensure CYA are supported by the right services, at the right time to achieve optimum outcomes whilst making best use of public funds.
This senior leadership position is responsible for the oversight and enhancement of our admissions process providing a single ‘front door’ into Seashell. The postholder will lead on Service Development initiatives to ensure they align with our organisational goals and the evolving needs of the communities we serve.
Working with the COO and Senior Leadership Operations Team colleagues, the DASD will define the admissions criteria to enable and support the best outcomes for the CYA and families who we support. Optimising occupancy across all service areas through efficient and effective admission, transfer and discharge processes, leadership and operational direction of the multi-disciplinary admissions function will be a key responsibility.
In addition, you will lead on development of Seashell’s ‘Knowledge Hub’ – our new external training, advisory and resource offer to professionals and practitioners to build their knowledge and skills in supporting young people with complex needs within their current settings and areas.
Developing strong links with commissioners and other external stakeholders, you will ensure a positive external profile of the services that Seashell offers, seeking opportunities for collaborative working and strategic opportunities for service developments.

Role Summary
The Programme Coordinator is a key point of contact for the Into Film Programme in the north of England and delivers Into Film’s programmes and projects face to face and online with a bespoke approach for the region. This requires detailed knowledge and understanding of the education and screen industry landscape in the north of England.
Main Responsibilities:
- Deliver all elements of the Into Film programme in the north of England including but not limited to CPD/training for teachers at all career stages, careers events, conferences, round tables, Teachmeet style gatherings and teacher panels, online and face to face.
- Develop, sustain and be the local point of contact for schools, partners, individuals and organisations that add value or are users of the Into Film programme, including a focus on EEDI and how Into Film can specifically, positively reach and include those who are underserved and underrepresented.
- Feed into and deliver the plans in the area across the programme including Teaching with Film, Careers and Progression, and Young Creatives (plus the Into Film Festival, the Into Film Awards and additionally funded programmes, as needed).
- Work with all departments at Into Film to ensure a joined-up approach and delivery of set outcomes and KPIs whilst adhering to budgets and deadlines.
- Ensure reach across the north of England, feeding into UK-wide work and awareness of Into Film Programmes, responding where possible to local needs.
