We are looking for an experienced commercial and visitor experience professional to join our team in the new post of Senior Commercial Manager, reporting into our trading board, Crystal Palace Park Events Ltd (CPPEL), and line managed by the Director of Parks Management. Responsible for achieving ambitious income targets, you will lead the management, development and growth of key revenue generating activities including concessions, leases, retail, licensing, catering, markets and car parking activity (and excluding events and venue hire). Alongside this you will oversee the smooth running of the park as a visitor attraction, ensuring an excellent visitor experience and an accessible, warm welcome to all. The appointment comes at a pivotal moment: in September 2023, after 25 years of community campaigning, Crystal Palace Park Trust took over custodianship of this unique landscape via a 125 year lease from the London Borough of Bromley. We are now working closely with them and a wide variety of other park and community stakeholders to deliver our mission: to protect, manage and improve Crystal Palace Park as a green, historic, ecological, recreational, sporting, cultural and educational resource in the interests of park users and of the wider community.

Job summary
The Trusts and Foundations Team is part of the Fundraising and Marketing Communications Department and is central to Whizz Kidz contributing to its ambitious goal of ensuring that every young wheelchair user in the UK is mobile, enabled and included. The six-strong team is responsible for delivering over £3m a year for the organisation’s services.
As Senior Trust Fundraising Manager you will be responsible for researching suitable 5 and 6 figure funding opportunities that are in line with Whizz Kidz’s strategic plan and fundraising priorities and manage existing funding relationships. This is a well-established income stream for Whizz Kidz with content for proposals readily available and accessible and you will have the opportunity to work with long standing supporters, helping them feel inspired by the impact of their gift. You will use your skills of relationship management to make a real difference to the lives of young wheelchair users. Finally, you will join an ambitious, young person focused and collaborative fundraising team, keen to share success and support one another.
The person
The ideal candidate will have experience of identifying and successfully bidding for 5 and 6 figure grants from Trusts and Foundations sources and will be an excellent spoken and written communicator with a particular emphasis on funding application writing and reporting. They will have strong prospect research skills with the ability to secure high value funding partnerships and an understanding of the issues young wheelchair users face so as to convey the work of Whizz Kidz to funders.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Support the Director of Fundraising, Communications and Marketing to develop and promote new fundraising campaigns, including individual giving and regular giving campaigns
- Support the Director of Fundraising, Communications and Marketing to launch a new Gifts in Wills campaign and support the delivery of legacy fundraising.
- Work with colleagues across the fundraising, marketing, and communications team and the wider organisation to support the development of integrated fundraising and marketing campaigns. In 2025, our priority is the delivery of a 60-anniversary campaign.
People management
- Manage a Fundraising Assistant, setting objectives and overseeing their work.
- Support the Fundraising Assistant’s professional development by providing mentoring and identifying opportunities for professional development.
Other roles and responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with colleagues in the Fundraising, Communications and Marketing team and colleagues across the organisation.
- As required, support and deliver consultation activities with service users, to ensure their lived experiences are considered in our fundraising activities.
- Support the development of SCT’s annual fundraising business plan and advise the Director of Fundraising, Communications and Marketing on setting income targets for Corporate, Events and Community Fundraising

The purpose of this role is to lead on the day-to-day delivery of legacy marketing campaigns supporting the charity’s ambitious transformational growth plans to drive voluntary net income.

Key Responsibilities

- You will manage third party agencies in delivery of day-to-day programme actions and to ensure that all activity reflects the values of the charity.

- You will be an advocate for legacy giving and contribute to the wider Fundraising team, taking a proactive approach to working in a high-performing and collaborative environment.
- You will work collaboratively across the directorate to ensure programmes are integrated and that opportunities to maximise lifetime value of supporters are leveraged to achieve wider fundraising impact goals.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Proven experience in campaign or project management
- Experienced in tracking and reporting on performance, including budget management, taking remedial steps to address under-performance.
- Strong knowledge of legacy marketing techniques
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and campaign delivery management skills to drive effective engagement with internal and external stakeholders and agencies
- Confident in data analysis to help inform supporter journey engagement strategies

Shannon Trust supports people in the criminal justice system, and in the wider community, to learn to read and improve their numeracy skills. The work you will be promoting makes day to day life safer for the learner, their families, and the wider community. It provides more opportunities for work and education for the learner, helps break the intergenerational cycle of low literacy and numeracy, and reduces re-offending.
Working closely with colleagues across the charity, your responsibilities will include:
- Promoting the work of Shannon Trust, internally and externally, through a variety of communications platforms including print and digital media, video and radio

We’re looking for a Direct Response Marketing Officer to join our busy and thriving Events Marketing team. This role will manage and deliver multi-channel marketing campaigns, driving participation for our sports, challenge, and mass event program.
You’ll report to the Events Marketing Campaign Manager. The Events Marketing team is in the Events team and sits in the wider Income and Engagement directorate. The Events Marketing team is responsible for recruiting event participants across a range of sports, challenge, and mass events, as well as involvement in retention strategies to cross-sell our supporters into other fundraising products.
You will:
- Work with different teams across the organisation, as well as with our media agency and external stakeholders, to brief, optimise and evaluate marketing campaigns, with a focus on monitoring performance and coordinating evaluations.
- Make recommendations to help inform and improve future campaigns.
- Write marketing copy for your campaigns, work closely with internal and external designers to develop creative ideas, and produce post-campaign reports.

Contributing over 50% of the organisation’s fundraised income, this is a new role. The role will focus on Retention and will use data and insight to deliver across a variety of channels including digital, email, social media, direct mail, telemarketing and SMS.

The Role
Manage the delivery of all Retention campaigns from concept through to evaluation, using data and insight to drive

This is a maternity cover position from 30 April 2025. Exact dates are negotiable, 0.9 FTE/9 day fortnight will be considered.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced community engagement manager to lead the delivery of our community engagement strategy and Compassionate Neighbours project, both of which play a key role in the hospice’s ambitious plans to reach everyone who could benefit from our care.
The successful candidate will be a confident and proactive trainer and project manager, and experienced in delivering impactful and collaborative community engagement programmes.
You will work with the Associate Director of Communications and Engagement and the Community Engagement Officer to support and grow Trinity’s Compassionate Neighbours befriending project and take Trinity’s Community Engagement toolkit to communities across our catchment area.
You will work collaboratively with teams in the hospice, external stakeholders and people from across our community to deliver scheduled events and projects and use your creativity and networking skills to build new partnerships and activities.
The overall purpose of this role
- Deliver the Community Engagement function at Trinity in line with the objectives laid out in the Communications and Engagement strategy.
- Lead the Compassionate Neighbours project, which aims to reduce social isolation amongst people at the end of their lives.
- Recruit, train, supervise and support volunteers to become Compassionate Neighbours.
- Work with local communities to improve literacy and confidence in talking about death, dying and bereavement.
- Line-manage the Community Engagement Officer.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues in clinical, volunteer management, marketing and other teams to effectively deliver Trinity’s Community Engagement toolkit.
We are looking for someone with:
- Experience in a community engagement/community action role or similar with a good working knowledge of the principles of community engagement;
- Project management and volunteer management experience;
- Experience developing and delivering training, with excellent facilitation, communication and influencing skills;
- Experience running projects that involve working with vulnerable people, ideally with an advanced understanding of safeguarding;
- Experience developing partnerships with a range of community leaders and groups;
- A good understanding of the ways in which social isolation and loneliness can impact emotional and physical health;
- The passion, skills, creativity and cultural competency to successfully drive forward the community engagement function.
- The Community Engagement Manager plays a key role in contributing to Trinity’s five-year goal to expand our reach to all of the people in our community who would benefit from our services.
