Working in the Brand & Content team, you will be leading on the delivery of our big integrated campaign, launching in October, in collaboration with our creative and media agencies,
You will work with a wide range of internal teams, including Fundraising, Corporate Partnerships, Media, Volunteering, Services, Retail, and local Age UKs in order to deliver campaigns that are on brand and support Age UK's strategic aims. Working to embed our new brand guidelines, you will ensure that they are understood and adhered to by teams across the organisation.
The friendly and energetic Brand & Content team also develops work in-house for a range of channels in collaboration with a wide range of teams, all to the highest standard, so you can expect a variety of interesting and creative projects.
This a 12 month Senior Brand Marketing Manager maternity cover contract. We operate a hybrid-working model, a blend of home and office working. This role will include regular days working from our London office. Your travel costs to the London office are not covered by the charity.

Must haves:
- Extensive experience of delivering large, impactful, multi-channel campaigns on time and within budget

About The Role
Working closely with leaders across the Fundraising, Marketing and Communications and Operation's directorates, this is an exciting role for an experienced marketing manager to lead on the development and delivery of WWT's national visitor marketing strategy.
A visit to a WWT site is often the start of the supporter journey - They showcase the incredible super powers of wetlands and the stunning wildlife they protect, they inspire people to want to come back and to support wetlands into the future. Visitors are a business imperative and a core part of helping WWT achieve its mission, to restore wetlands and unlock their power.
You'll get to collaborate with central and site-based marketing teams to develop the 3-year plan to increase first-time visitors to WWT wetland sites. The role will manage the central visitor marketing budget and guide the development of local marketing plans and budgets, setting clear targets and KPI's to monitor performance and ensure success.
About You
As a marketing expert who's worked in a visitor attraction or similar organisation, you'll be adept at developing and delivering multi-channel marketing strategy and plans to deliver measurable outputs and outcomes.
With your leadership skills, you'll be used to building effective working relationship with colleagues across a complex organisation. Your approach will be motivating and engaging, and you'll be used to determining team priorities, setting tasks and allocating resources appropriately.
You'll be a lateral thinker and look to the external environment in order to position WWT successfully in the marketplace, effectively managing the commercial and conservation aspects of the charity.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Manager to join the Fundraising, Marketing & Communications team at SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity on a six-month contract. This role will support the Head of Marketing & Brand to deliver impactful, integrated marketing and brand activations with great results.
You will work on strategies and campaigns that serve the objectives of all areas within SSAFA, so your expertise will help raise awareness of crucial services, recruit volunteers, support fundraising initiatives and promote understanding of SSAFA’s work. Most notably you will develop the strategic approach and activation of a new brand proposition in the Autumn. You will be joining a well-established team of marcomms professionals, ranging from designers to case study managers and social media experts. You will have plenty of opportunity to interact with other internal departments, such as Fundraising or members of the volunteer network.
About you
To hit the ground running and carry out this role successfully you will have:
- Demonstrable experience managing marketing or brand strategies and campaigns that achieve engagement or brand visibility metrics.
- Experience of managing projects with several internal stakeholders working with either agency or in-house delivery teams.
- The ability to interrogate and understand a brief in order to develop multi-channel campaign plans and co-ordinate the creation of compelling content and collateral that resonates with audiences.
- Experience of co-ordinating post-campaign analysis reports in order to communicate achievements and performance to relevant internal stakeholders.
- Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines as needed.
- Experience of working in a commercial, public or not-for-profit organisation would be beneficial.

About You
We’re looking for a strategic digital marketer with a proven track record of delivering results.
The ideal candidate will:
- Develop and Deliver Strategy: Create and implement a bold, results-driven digital marketing strategy to drive first-time visitors to WWT wetland sites.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Advise on and work with relevant third parties to deliver the digital marketing aspects of visitor, profile, and engagement campaigns. You’ll work closely with the FMC and Operations Senior Leadership Teams to achieve campaign objectives.
