The Fundraiser will play a key role in raising funds and awareness for the Friends of Bereaved Families Forum, a UK charity established to support the work of the Parents' Circle in Israel and Palestine.
This individual will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive fundraising strategies, cultivating donor relationships, and ensuring the sustainability and growth of our programs. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in fundraising, excellent communication skills, and a passion for the peace mission and values of the Bereaved Families Forum.
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Fundraiaser will work in close consultation with the Chair, Trustees and with members of the Steering Committee in carrying out the following tasks and responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy aligned with the organization's goals. Develop strategies to expand, enhance and cultivate the current donor base. Set targets for fundraising and report against targets.
- Identify new donors and cultivate existing donors. seek new sources of funding such as charitable foundations and trusts. Submit grant applications and reports, as needed.
- Develop and maintain database of donors and donations.
- Constantly follow PCFF activities, projects, achievements, and evolving content matter. Work closely with the PCFF Israeli-Palestinian fundraising team to address needs and identify opportunities.
- Organisation of speaking visits to the UK by PCFF representatives. Plan programme of events and manage relevant arrangements, bookings, etc. Designing and executing a programme of awareness-raising and fundraising events, marketing, and alumni engagement.
- Maintain and increase FBFF’s media presence – in Jewish, Christian, Muslim and national press.
- Field general queries from external groups and individuals.
- Newsletter - produce and distribute periodic written/visual material about FBFF activities for the newsletter and translating/adapt relevant PCFF materials for UK audiences. Constantly increase distribution and readership.
- Constant update of social media and website – [may work with website maintainer on improving design]
- Steering Committee - set up and attend meetings, prepare agendas, reports, minutes, and other relevant documentation – and work closely with members to initiate and develop activities.
- Reporting - monthly, in a format to be agreed to the Chair and Trustees on activities, achievements, and future plans.

Community Fundraising Officer – Temporary Position from July 24 for 6 months (£24-25k)
Remote working with regular travel to the West Midlands and London as required
Why join the UK Sepsis Trust (UKST)? Because there’s an exciting opportunity to work for a significant cause and help build its sustainable future. We’re building our new fundraising team and this temporary role will play an important part in accelerating our ambitious plans to increase annual income during 2024/25.
You will become the fourth member of the Fundraising Team (there are 3 full time staff) and will help to support the fundraising team.
Sepsis is the immune system’s overreaction to an infection or injury. There are over 245,000 cases each year in the UK with approximately 48,000 deaths. UKST aims to reduce preventable deaths from this ‘killer’ condition. We achieve this by:
· Raising awareness
· Supporting those affected by sepsis
· Educating health professionals
· Lobbying political organisations for better sepsis and severe infection care
Key Responsibilities
1. Deliver supporter journeys i.e. fundraising resources and stewardship communications to maximise supporter numbers, retention and engagement.
2. Use UKST’s CRM system (Raiser’s Edge) to accurately capture fundraiser information and key data contributing to the improved development and implementation of fundraising processes.
3. Communicate proactively and effectively with team members to pass on all relevant information, deliver excellent supporter care and to maximise fundraising opportunities.
4. Provide excellent customer service members of the public, either via phone, mail and in person, help to develop Fundraising activity whilst also offering our Support Services where necessary.
5. Represent the charity as and when required in schools, local businesses, and community groups, including speaking at events if – not essential
6. Keep up to date with best practice in fundraising and ensure compliance with the latest legislation and guidelines.
7. Assist in prioritising & managing enquiries about our Community Fundraising Programme via our dedicated inboxes.
8. Work collaboratively with the fundraising team and our Communications and Marketing Team to ensure maximum press and social media coverage is obtained for UKST’s community fundraising activities.
Day to day activities will include:
1. Managing an inbox and replying to enquiries in a timely and professional manner

2. Download Giving reports and send thank yous to donors and fundraisers

Key responsibilities
The role includes the following duties however these may change as the post evolves:
• Work with the delivery teams to ensure they collect the right data, qualitative and quantitative, to demonstrate their impact.

As the ideal candidate you will posses extensive fundraising experience in Nigeria that has involved high level relationships and high net worth individuals. Position: Fundraising Manager

About the role:
The fundraising team raise approximately £400K annually and aspiring to grow by over half a million by 2025. You will be responsible for leading and growing income via the charities Corporate Partnerships and Sporting Challenges. The ideal candidate will have high-level experience in corporate fundraising.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide excellent account management to some of the charities existing and new corporate relationships.
- Carry out effective prospect research.
- Engage companies in our sporting challenges.
- Nurture effective relationships with corporate partners to achieve the best outcomes for the charity.
- Manage and grow the charities portfolio of challenge events to maximise income from this fundraising stream to achieve and exceed set income and expenditure targets, offering opportunities for engagement, and fundraising across the calendar year.
- Plan and deliver the marketing and recruitment of a range of events, including the London Marathon and other major running, hiking, cycling, swimming, skydiving and ultra-challenges.
- Coordinate and create content for the Fundraising Team communications via social media and digital communications to increase engagement from supporters.
- Create and manage annual budget lines to ensure income and expenditure meet set financial targets to maximise a return on investment.
- Monitor and report on income and expenditure for the relevant budget lines.
- Actively participate in team meetings.

About you:
To be successful in this role you will have:
- A proven track record of successfully managing a charity’s corporate partnerships and sporting challenges.

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the design, delivery, and evaluation of Lancashire Youth Challenge's three core programmes: RESTORE, Time to Breathe, and Rise to the Challenge. This role ensures the smooth and effective administrative and financial operations of the charity and acts as a deputy for the Chief Executive Officer when necessary.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Programme Management
·Lead and manage Project Coordinators & Facilitators, ensuring high standards and budget compliance.

About the Role
This role will support the development and delivery of the RSPB’s UK carbon partnerships and reporting directly to the Head of Corporate Partnerships. You will provide critical expertise and capacity needed to engage with business, driving significant income growth and reaching challenging targets.
You will work closely with Senior Programme Manager – Carbon Finance as well as with colleagues across Conversation Investment, Business Conservation Advice, and the wider Business Engagement function to secure high-value corporate partnerships which will have a significant impact in the fight against the dual nature and climate crisis.
You will play a leading role in the development and delivery of the overall sales strategy for business engagement and the conservation investment pipeline projects and to secure partnerships and blended finance models with a particular focus on carbon markets in the UK. This role will also be pivotal in acting as a conduit between the Business Engagement team and technical expertise in the Conservation Investment team and across the charity.
