Main purpose of the job
This role will support Bond’s portfolio of convening events. This role is to support Bond’s events function with the overall running of Bond and Bond working group events and to provide administrative and logistical support in the lead up to, during and after events.
We convene a diverse range of audience that goes beyond the Bond membership, so that Bond members and non-members can connect, share knowledge and maximise influence. Bond’s convening power and large reach mean that we can convene diverse audiences on several topics. The events function works across teams to support and lead on the delivery of different types of convening. This covers learning events, practical events and information sharing events, with differing audience sizes, and some events are for Bond members only and others are open to all. Delegates can include senior decision-makers in governance, fundraising, finance, human resources, procurement, programmes, effectiveness, monitoring, evaluation, policy, advocacy, campaigning, communications and marketing.
Main responsibilities
- Creating events in salesforce and uploading them to Bond’s website according to the organisations style guidelines
- To support all digital content of uploading and editing sessions and speakers on the Bond website
- To coordinate logistics for in-person, virtual, or hybrid events. This will include visiting venues in person as and when required and supporting with in person, virtual and hybrid events.
- To manage the events inbox and ensure all delegate and participant queries are responded to in a timely and efficient manner
- Build and maintain key relationships with internal and external partners
- Work with Events Adviser to support events delivery
- To manage all event-related tasks, including drafting event materials and communications (such as invitations and post-event emails), compiling post-event reports, collecting attendee feedback, tracking metrics, and updating the CRM (Salesforce) with attendance data. Additional responsibilities include managing registrations, gathering dietary and accessibility requirements, creating name badges, and ensuring presentations are correctly formatted.

About the role
We’re looking for a Digital Experience Manager with a background in managing and developing websites and digital products, as well as previous experience of line management, to join our friendly and expert Digital Team.

• The purpose of the Senior Copywriter is to use their highly experienced creative writing skills to develop engagement with as many people possible. Crafting compelling internal and external communications you will help generate the support we need to continue saving lives every day across Kent, Surrey and Sussex

The Directorate
The Communications Team sits within the Marketing and Communications (MarComms) Team. The MarComms Team builds brand awareness and engagement among the public, builds our profile with the media and key stakeholders, and supports fundraising activities to generate fundraising income to keep the service running. The National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society (NRAS), is the only organisation in the UK specialising in both rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA). Due to its targeted focus on RA and JIA, NRAS provides truly expert and wide-ranging services to support, educate and campaignfor people living with these complex autoimmune conditions, their families and the health professionals who treat them.
As a small-medium sized charity (approximately 30 staff members), with a current income of circa £1.8m, we achieve a huge amount on a small budget, punching well above our weight. The role of Part-Time Trusts and Giving Officer will focus on medium to high value Trusts and Grants bids, report writing, relationship management and application pipeline management.
1. Main Purpose of Job
- Develop and implement an action plan for medium to large trust and grant fundraising bids with the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and the Senior Trusts and Company Giving Fundraiser
- Working with the COO to continue to sustain, develop and grow this important income stream in line with the Charity’s strategic objectives

Fundraising
- Identify new supporters and potential funders

Job Aim:To work with the Youth Project Coordinator to provide a fun, engaging and exciting programme of activities for young people across the economically disadvantaged but beautifully diverse E6 area within the London Borough of Newham. You will assist in delivering against the partnerships successful EMPOWER youth services commissioning bid to Newham Council. The service provides 10 weekly universal activities across East Ham over 49 weeks of the year for young people aged 9-19 including:
- Three outdoor MUGA sports sessions per week.
- Three youth hub session per week which includes branched off projects such as Junior Gym, screen acting, Muay Thai, healthy cookery sessions, calming crafts and sports.
- EKO Pathways after school delivery sessions, helping to support children with social, emotional, behavioural and mental health needs.
- Outdoor parks MUGA session
- Year-round trips and residentials
- Youth Theatre
- Delivery of three-week summer holiday scheme which involves volunteering placement with accredited Sports Leadership Award for 30 participants and employment for additional young people. This includes Stepping Up life skills training and social action campaign planning workshops.

Background
At the core of RABI’s mission is the commitment to address the individual needs of farming people. We offer one-to-one, expert support, advice and guidance, tailored to the individual circumstances of the farming person.
You will be part of a wider Volunteering team responsible for developing our approach to volunteering and engaging local stakeholders across England and Wales.
We currently involve approximately 500 volunteers who help raise funds and awareness of RABI within local communities. Most of our volunteers belong to one of 40 county committees.
Key responsibilities:
Volunteer journey
- Work with the Volunteering Development Manager to ensure that RABI volunteering is accessible, inclusive, safe and enjoyable.
- Develop and introduce clear guidance and processes to support the volunteer journey – from recruitment, to induction, day to day management and exit.
- Update existing volunteer management policies, procedures and documents to ensure compliance with latest good practice guidance.
- Support the introduction and ongoing management of systems to support volunteering and volunteer management.
Volunteer communications and recognition
- Support and co-ordinate improvements to volunteer communications – including regular newsletters, volunteer portal and role specific updates / guidance.
- Assist with formulation of the annual volunteer survey to collate volunteer feedback on all aspects of the volunteer experience.
- Support the planning and delivery of events / meetings to bring the volunteer community together – to recognise achievements and collaborate. Including annual conferences, online meetings etc.
